Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes, and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five items that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five items too!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

First Impressions

That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month now comes as a sleeve.

This month enclosed is a message from Team Dia&Co because I selected all five pieces this month! No styling tips, but some awesome words about what style means to Dia & Co.

There's also an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item I selected for myself along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. The total would be $326.00. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $244.50! The savings would be $81.50 if I did decide to keep everything! That would be like getting the LOVEFOOL set for free  -- that's pretty amazing!

Now for the fashions!

Marnie Sleeveless Ruffled-Hem Dress by East Adeline, Size 3x-- Listed Value $69

I know that the weather is getting colder, but I selected these pieces when it was still in the 70s and 80s-- I was in a summer state of mind! Trust me, the sweaters and tights will be rolling in soon enough. This dress I choose because I loved the reds, pinks, blues, and whites against one another. This style dress worked well for some of the other pieces I received in previous months, so I wanted to give this beauty a go. The material has limited stretch and was a bit snugger in the chest than I would prefer.  This is a great casual dress to wear a jean jacket and mules as I styled it, but would look great for bridal and baby showers as well!

Elowen Tier Chiffon Ruffled Maxi Dress By Chetta B, Size 22-- Listed Value $59

Now, I know this is another sleeveless number, but please hear me out! I decided this would be a good one to showcase for early fall as well. When I was in the office, you were not able to control the thermostat. Due to that, I always had a cardigan with me. I love this piece as a late summer or fall dress. In the warmer months, I would wear it as I styled it with wooden open-toed Bad Sandy from Grease heels and orange flower power earrings to bring out the colors in the dress. This would look awesome topped off with a mustard yellow or even a baby pink cardigan. In the fall, wear opaque  tights, combat boots, and either a bulky knit oversized cardigan or faux leather biker jacket. I love wearing sleeveless stuff and layering in the fall because if I get too warm, I can always remove a layer and cool off. As for the fit-- this dress like the last's fabric has limited stretch. Both styles have elastic at the waist to add definition, but are tight in the chest. This dress is tight enough that it moves the key hole detail on the mock neck. I couldn't keep it straight for the life of me, it kept moving. Fit issues aside, I really love this dress!

Norris V-Neck Midi Dress by Adorned, Size 20 — Listed Value $65

I am a sucker for putrid acid and chartreuse green shades as well as mustard yellows alike. When I saw this dress, I couldn't distinguish if it was more yellow or green, all I knew was that I liked it! This dress is incredibly comfortable to wear, I love the longer length. The thicker elastic waist give phenomenal definition and shows off my curves in a great way. This is a dress I would wear in the summer on the beach or in the fall with patterned tights, ankle booties, faux leather biker jacket, and thick knit scary. I opted to do some simply styling with my favorite wooden open toe heels and glitzy flower power earrings from Reb's Rainbow Haus!

By chance, did I happen to mention that this dress has... POCKETS?!

Samantha Ruffled All Day Set in Black by LOVEFOOL, Size 2x— Listed Value $84

I had been eyeballing this LOVEFOOL set most of the summer and decided to try this set out. However, I made a huge mistake a la G.O.B from Arrested Development-- I ordered this set in a 2x. Pre- Big Rona-- that might have worked! I would need a 3x or 4x these days for the skirt. I couldn't zip the adorable skirt-- it was bad and not worth documenting. I was able to get the top on and decided to model it with the LOVEFOOL skirt I reviewed in my most recent Dia & Co review. I love the flirty tie opening at the chest/cleavage, the Naomi Harper from Mama's Family ruffled sleeve detail, and the square cut on the back of the top. The polka dot and retro flower print is a cute touch as well! I am not a fan of how deep the arm holes are though-- you could almost get a glimpse of my bosom!

Joanna Belted Dress by Sandra Darren, Size 20 — Listed Value $49

I know some folks will be frustrated to see I selected another sleeveless dress-- but please hear me out! With the right accessories this can be worn throughout the year! Sure this is a great summer dress since the material is light and on the sheer side, but the deep rich shades of red and burgundy make me think more autumn than summer time.  I am envisioning this dress for fall styled with patterned tights, ankle booties, and oversized coatigan. I paired it with some flashier accessories for something to wear during the holiday season: pink metallic open toe heels from Princess Highway, the previously mentioned Reb's Rainbow Haus earrings, and my go-to leopard print faux fur coat! You will look purrfect in this number all year long!

Verdict

This month's Dia & Co was filled to the brim with dresses-- all selected by moi.  Even though I selected each piece-- it doesn't mean they were all successful. Most of the items I choose had fit issues where I could of benefited from sizing up. I know a lot of the item aren't the most ideal for the current season, but I wasn't ready for the season to end. Our weather reflected that well too. I like that some of the pieces are able to be worn year-round with proper styling, though.

Even though I choose all my pieces this time, it doesn't mean  I haven't appreciated collaborating with my most recent stylist, Melinda.  I intend on providing ample feedback on the pieces for this month so that my stylist has an idea of what works for and against me. As I have said-- feedback is crucial! It enables your stylist to see what you actually wear, how you prefer your clothing to fit, and also what trends and styles you're attracted to; I liken this all to creating a fashion mood board.  I typically try to only select three of the five items, but your girl couldn't resist this month! Next month, I might go back to my normal ways and see what my stylist picks for me-- I love that element of surprise! No matter who selects the item for my monthly box, my favorite part is that I can do it all from home! No malls, masks, or fitting rooms-- it is all delivered right to my door at my convenience! Not only can I have clothes sent to me, but Dia & Co also offers styling box services for activewear, intimate pieces, and now swimwear too! Plus, did you know you can forgo a styling box altogether? Yes, friends-- you can simply buy items you want directly from the site! The options are endless with Dia & Co! This month had its hits and misses, so I for one am eager to see what next month has in store, aren't you?

The Norris dress is perfection and I agree that the bit extra at the waist gives definition while still being comfy!

Thank you so much for stating up front and reiterating throughout that *you* made all of the selections this months because otherwise I would have been aghast at all the summery silhouettes.

Seems like one of the biggest benefits of working with a Dia & Co stylist is that they may be more familiar with the sizing of their garments because it’s odd that the 3X and 22 were too tight at the bust while the 20 in both the Norris and Sandra Darren fit like a dream.

Yes, the cut is so nice and comfortable!

I definitely didn’t want anyone to come for the stylist on that since it was all me! Haha. It is now FREEZING here, and all my self selections will be cozy pieces. But I was still in warm weather mode when I did the order. hahaha

Yeah, I was really surprised myself on how a lot of the items fit by different brands. Sometimes it is too tempting to just select pieces for myself and not let the stylists pick pieces. I definitely appreciate their expertise, though!

Thanks again for checking out my review, Maddie!
