We have the first spoiler for the Alltrue Winter 2021/22 Box!

From Alltrue:

They say you can’t have it all… but when it comes to winter, well, all bets are off. This magical season calls for a little bit of everything — you can curl up on the couch and watch the snow drift quietly to the ground one day, and take a trip to the mountains for an outdoor adventure the next; host a festive gathering with friends and family, or engage in some solo you-time; indulge in a batch of frosting covered gingerbread cookies, or find your inner meditative zen — the sky is the limit.

Here's what you can find inside:

Recycled Classic Slipper Socks — Pudus Life

A choice product alongside the Symbiosis London Luxury Anti-Aging Skincare Set, Vahdam IndiaVariety Tea Tin Set, and Be Home Set of 4 Dip Bowls, these feel good slipper socks are made for cozy hot cocoa curl-ups, post-bubble bath comfort, hardwood floor dance parties, and everything in between.

With a classic plaid pattern, faux-sherpa lining, and no-slip grips along the bottom, these part-slipper part-socks keep toes toasty and festive — plus, they're made from recycled materials. Approximately 15 water bottles were diverted from the landfill and repurposed to produce each pair of socks.

Based in British Columbia, Pudus knows a thing or two about warming up cold feet. In partnership with the Covenant House, this family-run business helps support homeless and at-risk youth across 35 locations in North America, and is committed to donating approximately 50,000 pairs of socks annually.

Pro tip: share the fuzzy feeling by adding on a matching pair for your favorite person — keep a look out for this option through Choice+ when customization opens! ✨

Set of 4 Dip Bowls — Be Home

A choice product alongside the Symbiosis London Luxury Anti-Aging Skincare Set, Vahdam India Variety Tea Tin Set, and Pudus Life Recycled Classic Slipper Socks, this spoiler was made to entertain — perfect for party snacks like hummus, dips, or your signature guac, a cozy grilled cheese and tomato soup night, or cookie decoration catch alls.

Taking cues from an evening sky or the coastline at dusk, the deep blues and playful shapes created by Australian illustrator Antra Svarcs bring an elevated sense of polish and sophistication to any table spread.

Inspired by the understated modernity and entrepreneurial spirit of the West Coast, Be Home creates quality homewares with a seabreeze of serene style while building relationships with family and women-owned artisan groups, multi-generational craftsmen, and independent makers around the world.

Pro tip: use these dip bowls as an opportunity to get creative — try new soup, dip, and snack recipes (and then share them here so we can do the same!)

Variety Tea Tin Set—Vahdam India

This set is for tea beginners and experts alike.

Each set includes two different tea varieties: an authentic Masala Chai and a classic English Breakfast Flavored with bold, warming spices like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper, the chai complements classic holiday movies and family game nights. Or, sip the rich, full-bodied English breakfast alongside your winter morning rituals!

Known for their garden-fresh flavors, Vahdam takes their quality sourcing seriously, procuring their leaves directly from farmers within days of harvest, then packaging them up and getting them into your cup as quickly and ethically as possible.

Based in New Delhi, Vahdam is a certified plastic neutral and climate neutral brand which donates 1% of its revenue to their social initiative TEAch Me, helping to empower the children of tea estate workers through digital learning.

Pro tip: for best results, store your tea in ambient temperature and follow the brewing instructions on each leaflet

Next up, we have the Ultra Fine Balancing Sorbet Facial Cryo-Exfoliator. Made with naturally exfoliating papaya and ultra hydrating hyaluronic acid, treat yourself to some tough love with this deliciously scented exfoliator once a week for brighter, smoother skin.

Symbiosis London, the brand behind these beauties, is an innovative British skincare brand committed to creating effective products that adapt to our changing lifestyles *and* our changing world. Powered by nature, their line is made in Italy with vegan and cruelty free ingredients and sustainable packaging.

I signed up for annual member summer 2021 for the 4 seasonal boxes. I have not been notified by email for customization for past box (Fall). I sent an email & was offered a partial chance to customize. I got mostly what I asked for but out photos, I couldn’t really know options. Now I noticed spoilers on Facebook but I won’t be able to customize if I’m not invited to customize. I do not have password.

Interesting note on the Choice 1 skincare. The balancing sorbet lists hyaluonic acid on the tube rather than Hyaluronic acid. I googled hyaluonic and got nada. Is that a typo?? The product description below lists HyaluRonic acid. Anyone have any info on this?

Alltrue sent out an email with spoilers with categories 1 and 2 earlier today. Apparently the anti-aging skincare set has a value of $232 and everything else in this category is in the $40 and under area.

These are the spoilers for Category 2. Category 1 has a carry-on weekender ($158 value), stainless steel containers ($50 value), a throw blanket ($75 value), a grey stripe poncho wrap ($110 value), and a foldable yoga mat ($85 value).

The products look nice, but the customer reviews and shipping sound abysmal, I just can’t

Shipping is horrible. My fall box I was told would be to me in Oct. Still don’t have it and it is Nov 22.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOX. The customer service is awful (I asked them to change my address since my box after getting an email saying my box was delayed 2 months…and they said no. Luckily I was able to get it forwarded, but what a nightmare.)

Is it bad that I’m not getting this even though I want to because I’m serious enough to use our plan for Christmas and when I did sub there were so frequently delays and exchanges of products that I just know it will be a disappointment?

Claire

I haven’t even received my Fall box yet!

Sonia

Same here! So much for being an annual subscriber. After this I am out!!

Amy

I’ve been an annual subscriber for years, and I’m waiting on this box to ship. I realize there are shipping delays going on in economy, but it’s not new.

Angela

Saaame here! I already received my winter FabFitFub box!

Snow

That little blurb from Alltrue sounds amazing; watching snow softly drift out my window, a hike on a mountain, festive gatherings with family and friends, and cookie making time (or eating) yum! 🥰 For some reason, though, my winters consist of below freezing temperatures, snow storms, shoveling, and scraping ice off my windshield when it’s still dark outside. The cookies? Usually burnt hockey pucks.

I do like those bowls. They kind of have a Scandinavian flair to them that I am drawn to.

Also by the time you get your box, it will be spring.

LOL! So relatable!

I do appreciate alltrue not putting all skincare in a single category, since it’s something many would like to not have to choose. A feedback they took.

I am not thrilled about these first spoilers. Personally, the bowls look too small (probably the size I should use when I eat ice cream lol);the socks have no size indication (I assume it’s one size only, not a fit for everybody), plus they might arrive in March per alltrue’s declared shipping schedule; the tea seems to be in those plastic bags (I’m actually surprised by this choice, while the tins look fancy, I’d have expected loose tea or tea in biodegradable bags).

Michelle

The tea bags are nylon pyramid-style tea bags. I’d guess they come in a tin to reduce waste! Since many don’t have loose leaf tea infusers at home I’m not super surprised they went with sachets instead of a bag of loose leaf tea! But I would have preferred it as well to be honest with you.

Izzie

Absolutely! I understand wanting to make life easier for their customers, and if it were another company I would have not been surprised, but given alltrue’s mission, I think there were 2 alternative routes they could have taken:1) choose the paper sachets (I received the same brand in another subscription box in the past and was given a tea bag made with paper, I suppose the tea company still has them); 2) choose loose leaf tea and include an infuser, which also might encourage people to use this type of tea more often, avoiding extra waste and maybe to compost their tea leaves as well (something I don’t do, I want to be honest). And if not for the environmental impact of more plastic-y things around, drinking micro plastic is not ideal (and probably most of us already get plenty of it during their daily lives, so I’d rather avoid it when I can).

Oh well, I guess I won’t pick the tea ;P

Katy

As much as I love these spoilers, I’m thrilled this is going to be the last box for my annual subscription. I have been trying to be mindful about shipping delays many companies are facing with products, but my winter FabFitFun has already shipped and I have yet to receive the notification that my fall box for Alltrue has. This is not a good business practice and I do not particularly want a fall box when fall is almost over. It is frustrating because I have defended this box in the past, but I just can’t anymore.

Has anyone found out if the bowls are dishwasher and or microwave safe? I can’t find any info about them online.

Sonia

I don’t think so .I got them on a FFF box. They seem fragile. They are very small. Cute but small

I’ve been so disappointed with Causebox/Alltrue this past year for so many reasons, I was hoping to be able to leave them in the dust for good……but oh mannnn I really like all these items! Hopefully I don’t like the remaining categories so I can resist!

Those bowls are beautiful! I canceled my subscription after the fall box, but if there is a good Black Friday deal I may subscribe back in for this.

Sonia

I received those bowls on a FFF box. They are nice.
