Wantable Sleep & Body Edit October 2021 Subscription Box Review
Wantable is a monthly personalized style subscription box service that sends you seven expertly curated items based on an in-depth quiz.
In order to get your one-of-a-kind style box, you must first take an online quiz to narrow down your style preferences. Choose between three of Wantable’s Edits: Women’s Style, Women’s Active, Sleep & Body, and Men’s Active before beginning the questionnaire. The quiz asks a range of questions: what type of clothing do you wear, preferences on fabrics, patterns, colors, fit–everything you could think of to help define your personal style.
Once the quiz is complete, a stylist is assigned to your account and begins curating your Edit. Creating your Edit comes with a $20 styling fee, but that fee goes towards any items you decide to keep once you receive your box. You save 20% off everything if you keep 5 or more items. When you receive your box you’ll have 5 days to decide what you want to keep for purchase and what you want to return. They also offer free returns and pick-ups.
This is a review of my personal “Sleep & Body” Edit.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes).
My Wantable Experience
Before getting into the products I received in my Wantable Edit, I think it’d be helpful to give you an idea of what I answered for my style quiz. I noted that I love a good neutral, am mostly interested in everyday essentials, and that I was open to receiving pretty much everything they offer (robes, sleepwear, bras, undies, lingerie, etc). I also let my stylist know that I’m more of a no-padding or little padding kind of gal (proud member of the itty bitty titty committee) and that thongs are my go-to underwear style. With all of this in mind, here’s what my stylist, Lauren, sent me:
What’s Inside This Edit
Velvet Burnout Kimono Robe in Black/Raspberry by MeMoi – Retail Price $68.00
How beautiful is this kimono? The minute I put this on I felt so comfy and beautiful. I love the sheer elements and the bright purple lining. From the delicate pattern to the silk and velvet textures, this is a luxurious robe that I will be getting plenty of use out of. Whether you’re wearing this as you get ready for your day or pairing it with a sexy black lingerie number underneath, it’s the perfect kimono for everyday use.
Prym Slippers in Elderberry by Muk Luks – Retail Price $40.00
Slippers are one of my weaknesses. I love anything that keeps me warm and cozy. You will not see me walking around my apartment without a pair of slippers on. What’s even better? These slippers match perfectly with the kimono I was sent. I love that my stylist, Alexandra, made sure to color coordinate some of the items to make it easier for me to visualize in my closet as my everyday go-to’s.
So Fine Bralette in Fox by Only Hearts – Retail Price $62.00
This bralette color is beautiful. A burnt orange like this will flatter every skin tone and I definitely don’t already own anything like it. Bralettes are a go-to for me, I don’t like too much padding so something like this will still make me feel beautiful and supported. I can see myself wearing this to sleep or layering it underneath a baggier v-neck or another shirt that lets the lace of the bralette peek through.
So Fine Thong in Fox by Only Hearts – Retail Price $44.00
I love that Alexandra gave me a matching set. There’s nothing better than wearing a matching thong and bralette – it makes you feel like you’ve got your life together (anyone else agree?). I most likely would just wear this to bed since the lace would leave visible lines.
Floretta ii Cami Set in Metal by Flora Nikrooz – Retail Price $48.00
This pajama set was so incredibly soft. Unfortunately, both PJ sets were too large on me (which is why I didn’t take any photos). I so wanted these to work for me because they are comfortable, have a lot of stretch, and the lace detailing is beautiful. These are high-quality pajamas and I think they are totally worth the $48.
Giovanna Set in Leopard Pink by Flora – Retail Price $45.00
The same goes for these PJs – I love the bold leopard print and lace detail but they were just too big on me.
The Valeria Plunge Bra in Rose by Sophie B. – Retail Price $34.00
The final piece I received in my box was a rose-colored velvet plunge bra. The amount of coverage in this bra makes it great for wearing with a low-cut shirt to show off the fun velvet texture. There was a little bit of padding in the bra which I don’t mind when it’s for a sexier piece that’s designed to enhance what you’re working with. I’m not sure how much use I’d get out of this pick, so I might end up returning. Definitely, a fun pick if you like a colorful and playful bra.
Overall, my experience with the Wantable Sleep & Body box was exactly what I hoped it would be. My stylist, Alexandra, listened to what I was looking for, which was comfortable yet flattering body wear and sleepwear that I’d be excited to get into every morning and/or night. You can truly make this Edit what you want it to be: If you want it to be more functional and realistic for your everyday needs then you can get a box with the softest robe, cozy PJs, and some great undies, or you can focus your box on beautiful lingerie that you wear on special occasions and only for the eyes of your special someone.
I love that the kimono, velvet plunge bra, and fuzzy slippers were all similar colors, it makes for a great nighttime fit!
