Bespoke Post delivers unique and personalized products through a flexible subscription-based offering. Each box is curated based on the subscriber's product likes and dislikes. Subscribers can preview, swap, skip, or cancel at their discretion. Boxes are priced at $45, but the value typically exceeds $70.

Bespoke Post has the kind of reputation many subscription-based brands covet.  Not only are they known for consistently delivering high-quality product experiences, but their long-standing commitment to small businesses is virtually unrivaled.

First Impressions

Traditionally, Bespoke Post may not have been a subscription that I would have considered for myself, but that was before I perused their themed box selections and online shop.

Bespoke Post's packaging is visually pleasing, minimalist, and tactile. Each box relays Bespoke's signature blue and branding. The box is easy to navigate, void of excess paper or mess (to my puppy's dismay).

What's Inside The Box

Depending on your box selection, products come with postcard instructions detailing the care or steps to use the products. Once I found out the goodies that were headed my way, I had to wonder, is the team at Bespoke Post psychic? How were they able to zero in on my somewhat obscure but prominent obsessions with denim and Halloween? Did they know about my secret love for Canadian Tuxedos or that I watch scary movies all year like a lunatic?  They must have. Or the quiz they've designed to curate subscribers' box selections is incredibly spot-on.

Rogue - Retail Price - $85

I have a theory.  I realize it may be wildly unpopular (feel free to disagree): the men's section has a better selection of flannel, jackets, and my most beloved: denim. Denim is timeless, effortless, and comforting all at once. When I found out I was being sent the Montana Rogue Trucker Jacket, I already envisioned wearing it over my fall workout sets.

The Rogue is a dark indigo, 100% cotton, pre-washed denim jacket that elicits the kind of softness that often takes weeks to break in. At first glance, it may appear to have a more traditional or "boxy" fit, but once I slipped it on, it had that slightly oversized, chic look I feel like I'm always searching for. I like that it was longer than most denim jackets I own (long torso problems); it hit below my hip bone (I'm 5'10 for reference). I threw it on over my sweater dress and headed to a local brewery that night. My friend John did try to walk off with it at the end of the night, but I can't really blame him.

What I liked: I consider this a necessary clothing staple that you'll wear most days of the week. Plus, the material is the perfect hybrid for chilly fall or spring days. The roominess of the cut also allows for layers.

Bottom line: You won't regret purchasing this.

Jack- Retail Price - $55

They say spooky season begins in October, but for me, it's an all-year event. One Halloween-themed activity I've never been very good at, however, is pumpkin carving. I love the idea of this tradition. I fondly remember watching my grandfather layout a faded newspaper and carefully dissect a pumpkin with expert precision. He'd always ask me if I wanted to pull out the insides, and my answer was always the same: "Yuck!" Bespoke Post's Jack box allowed me to fully embrace this tradition on my own.

What I liked: The pumpkin carving kit was not overwhelming. It came with a 3 piece carving kit; a large ice cream scoop with teeth (sawtooth carver), what looked like an apple peeler (pumpkin scraper), and a thin, jagged knife (etching tool). The box included an assortment of stencils (ranging in difficulty) that included a postcard with a link for a video tutorial on using the carving tools. To top it off, an LED light kit was included, in case I decided to get fancy and show off my newly acquired skills. Pumpkin seasoning and instructions on how to make roasted pumpkin seeds were tucked inside to round out the experience. All that was needed was the actual pumpkin, and I was ready to get carving!

My pup Wyatt watched curiously as I set up my pumpkin carving station out on our balcony. I ended up using the Bat stencil for "medium difficulty". However, I was leaning towards the skull which was also medium difficulty but in my opinion a more challenging design; I knew my limits.  Alas, after what I would have considered a successful pumpkin carving session, things took a tragic turn.  Later that night I went out on the balcony to try out the LED lights and photograph my talents, and my pumpkin had taken a tumble from my 4th-floor balcony.  Wyatt and I were both equally upset.

Bottom line: I'm a visual learner, so I really appreciated the straightforward instructions and the video tutorial, which eased my anxiety.

Value - Was "Jack" and "Rogue" Worth It?

Rogue - Montana Trucker Denim Jacket

The Cost: $45

The Value: Purchased on its own, the Montana Trucker Denim Jacket is $85. Purchasing Rogue as a member saves $40 (47%), or $30 (35%) for non-members.

Jack - Pumpkin Carving Set

The Cost: $45 for members, $55 for non-members

Value Breakdown:

  • 3-Piece Pumpkin Carving Set by Messermeister - $36.50 Retail Value
  • Custom Stencil Package by Maniac Pumpkin Carvers - this set is exclusive to the Jack box from Bespoke Post, as Maniac Pumpkin Carvers is an artist collaborative that will carve pumpkins anywhere from $150 for simple designs to upwards of $800 or more for detailed works.
  • LED Pumpkin Lights with Remote (Set of 2) - a similar set on Amazon will run you about $15.99
  • Savory Roasting Seasoning by Gustus Vitae (2 oz) - $12.00 Retail Value

Not including the stencils, instructions, and of course the pumpkin (which you will need to supply yourself), the estimated value is about $64.49, which brings this box at a $19.49 savings for members, or $9.49 savings for non-members.

Key Takeaways

Bespoke Post delivers on its reputation of selecting premium products and activities that customers will enjoy. I liked that boxes had a wide range of interests (cocktail curating, CBD-inspired wellness kits), and I already spied a shirt I wanted to add to my collection. Although voted by readers as one of the best subscription boxes for men, Bespoke Post is certainly not just for the boys. I'm a fan, and I plan on gifting this subscription to others this holiday and myself.

Psychic is right?! I JUST busted out my jean jacket yesterday and wore it today for the first time. It definitely took me out of my comfort zone….I’m a black, black and more black kind of gal. I love the jean jacket on you, though, April. Cute haircut, too!

Yes!!! The denim love is very real! I wish I could pull off more black, but alas, I am too pale, haha.

Thank you so much! I love when denim is comfortable and versatile, definitely a win-win ♡
