Wow! I am loving this duo and am surprised to hear any concerns about the lemon scent. It is super light and in my opinion refreshing. I agree with Lydea’s comment that it has more of a lemon dessert scent than a cleaning product. It really absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy at all and the texture is just lovely. I also really love the scent of the D Drop! It has a super faint peppermint scent which seems lovely for this time of year as we transition into the colder months. I also am really liking how different this is from anything else we’ve received in a Beauty Heroes box recently.

I am not having this experience at all. I wish I were! I do think Lydea was spot on about the scent being “lemon sorbet”. This is the best lemon scent I’ve ever smelled. So points there! But the cream is so heavy to me. The tiniest bit takes forever to absorb so it’s a perfect winter product but… with a summer scent? I just don’t get it. I’ll probably use at least most of it because it’s better than expected scent-wise and already in my bathroom but this will never be a repurchase. Their Rasa cream is so much better.

Feeling the same way about the D-Drop. It’s… fine? Adequate? But I’m not in love. I’m using it with their Sen face serum and trying out The Fix face cream (again) to see if I can layer it all and experience the magic but it’s just not happening for me yet. These are all just okay products from a brand I love that makes a lot of really great products.

I still love BH, and I’m happy I got to try these out even if I’m their not my favorites. I’m glad it’s a good fit for you!

I received my box today and tested out the two products, I will definitely enjoy using them.

I love great body lotions but have texture and smell issues with so many I thought I would like. This body butter smells lightly of lemon in a fresh not perfume fake in your face smell. It absorbs nicely and feels nice applying it to your body. I hate if it is too oily or hard to rub on your skin. I could see myself repurchasing this product.

The face D Drops is interesting. It is very light, absorbs right into your skin and have a very faint smell, for me I would say no smell. I will experiment using this with my serums and moisturizers and see what works best for me. I don’t think it is a wow I have to have product but a good addition for added hydration.

With the colder weather and indoor heating anything that helps dry skin is a plus.

I was really hoping BH would have done a new facial
Oil cleaning balm in this box but it’s something I will use and enjoy.

I generally love this brand but I am not excited about this beauty hero. Please, please clean beauty brands, please stop using lemon as a main scent! It’s nearly impossible to do well. It’s either overly sweet lemon Starburst smell or cleaning chemical lemon Pledge. I have the Khus + Khus The Fix face cream and can’t bring myself to use it regularly. It has another weird lemon scent I’m just not into. I hope this one smells a bit different at least.

Lauren- I just opened mine. My initial thought is that it smells more like a lemon drop then lemon pledge. A few minutes later and the smell is there (I put a little on my hands) but only if I put my hands near my nose. The texture is thick, but not hard like the blue tansy K+K. My hands were not too greasy to use my phone. A few more minutes and the smell is pretty much gone. Hope that helps. If you still don’t want to try it, I think this would make a fantastic gift for a teacher or someone else who needs a little pampering.

You were spot on with the scent. I actually think this is the best lemon scented product I’ve ever smelled. I’m not a lemon-convert but it has nudged me from my lemon hatred.😂

I will likely use all or most of these products, because they are high-quality and already here, but I can’t see myself repurchasing. Khus + Khus has so many other options that I like better.

Still, glad I got to try these! I love BH’s Discoveries, even when I don’t actually live their discoveries, if that makes sense. The products are always quality products I never would’ve tried on my own, even if they don’t really fit my skin care preferences. I’ve found so many awesome brands and HGs from this sub. This month just was a miss for me.
