Welcome to our monthly post highlighting our favorite discoveries in a new category: KIDS subscription boxes! Here are our favorite children's books, kids clothing items, art projects, and more from the past month:
The Item: L.O.L. Shirt and Tie-Dye Kit
The Cost: n/a
Why I love it: My daughter was excited enough about her cute new L.O.L. shirt, but the fact that she got to add her own design to it made this a real treat! The tie-dye kit was super easy to use with fun colors and her shirt turned out pretty great! I do wish the colors had saturated it a bit more so they would stand out but overall it was a fun experience with a cute result that she is happily wearing all the time now!
The Item: The Inspector Play Kit
The Cost: $80
Why I love it: I was really looking forward to getting this kit and I was not disappointed. All the items and even the unboxing experience are so nice and thoughtful. The materials are safe and sustainable and really feel like heirloom items. I can’t wait to see how my baby interacts with these new toys and I’m so thankful for this subscription for doing all the research and sending developmentally appropriate toys at the right time. This is our fourth kit and so far they’ve all been amazing and the toys are a big hit.
The Item: Roller Coaster Physics Kit
The Cost: $27.95
Why I love it: As an educator, I am all about making learning fun, and this Roller Coaster Physics kit does just that. After reading through a brightly colored comic book and learning the basics of physics, we had the opportunity to make our very own marble run exhibiting many features a roller coaster might have. Hank was able to complete this project almost entirely by himself, and we all learned a few things along the way.
