Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription service that formerly catered to plus sizes only, but is now far more inclusive offering sizes 0-32! Gwynnie Bee allows you to select items you like that are put in a virtual closet. The chosen items in your virtual closet are sent to you at random, but you can select priority pieces to be sent to you first. Since I started using the service, I can say I always have a lot of fun with this box!

The cost depends on how many items you would like to rent out at a time. Starting at $49 per month for 1 item and up to $199 for 10 items. Gwynnie Bee also has a marketplace on their site where you can buy steeply discounted used rental pieces and brand new accessories, underwear, and workout gear as well!

What's Inside This Box

This is a review of the three items at a time for $95/month:

Geo Print Black Peri Dress by Donna Morgan, Size 22w — Cost to Keep $46

I have reviewed countless Donna Morgan brand dresses for Gwynnie Bee and other subscription boxes over the years. I have even purchased a few I have reviewed like these ones from July and April of last year! I am a fan of the retro prints they use as well as the stretchy fabrics and fantastic cuts and styles they offer. I have tried wraps, maxis, shirts, and mini dress styles by the brand and have loved most, if not all, of them! This psychedelic 60s meets Picasso's blue era piece is no exception. This adorable mini-dress has a retro meets modern vibe in part due to the balloon sleeves and elastic cinched waist. I wanted to enhance the retro vibes by styling this piece with green smiley flower power earrings made by moi, yellow Jackie O' style sunglasses, and my go-to summer shoes: black jellies. I imagine wearing a dress like this on the beach drinking a virgin Tiki drink and dancing. But this can also easily be worn in the office and I suspect could translate to colder weather months with black tights, flats, and a faux fur coat.

Heart Print Pink Sweater by Andree By Unit, Size 2x — Cost to Keep $33

Our weather is roasting, so this sweater presently isn't ideal -- but isn't it the cutest? I love red and pink together, but I was so excited to see some orange hearts in the mix as well. Red and pink are fantastic, but orange and pinks are even better in my opinion! The material on this piece isn't terribly thick, but it will still keep you toasty. It is thin enough that you could get away with tucking it in without it creating a lot of bulk. This piece has stretch and is rather comfortable to wear. I did some simple, yet adorable styling by pairing this cutie with a black pencil skirt, my trusty Torrid white Mary Janes, and some silver hoops. If you are a bit extra like me, I could see this looking fantastic with some wide-leg orange or baby pink trousers and white loafers as well! You can easily spruce up a pair of jeans and sneakers with this precious sweater as well, of course!

Poppy White Polka Dot Fit-And-Flare Dress by Anne Klein, Size 2x — Cost to Keep $17, Purchased for $2

Yinz, this might be the best buy I have ever made on Gwynnie Bee-- and that says a lot! I was initially drawn to this dress due to the sophisticated Minnie Mouse vibes it gave me, but getting this cutie for $2 made it even more appealing. Gwynnie Bee constantly has sales on at-home pieces where you can also apply your dollar points to it, so by luck, I found that I had $15 in rewards points and got this for a heck of a deal. I doubt I could find an Anne Klein dress in the thrift shop or even on the sale rack at JC Penny's for such an amazing deal! In addition to the killer price, this dress is fantastic. It is well made with an awesome cut and stretchy fabric. I appreciate the classic cut and style of this piece. This is a versatile number for sure; depending on how you accessorize and style this dress you could get dozens of looks! I wore this dress with my previously mentioned Torrid Mary Janes and earrings I made, but this could be topped off for cooler weather with a white cardigan for a wedding or baby shower or with a jean jacket for brunch with friends. This can also be worn in cooler months with fishnets, Cowboy-style booties, a black faux leather biker jacket, and a large-brimmed hat or beret. Heck, I would love this even with a yellow faux leather biker jacket, huge plastic statement earrings, and platform heels for an ultra-funky and eccentric ensemble. The looks and events you can wear a dress like this are endless!

Did I happen to mention... IT HAS POCKETS?!

Verdict

This month, Gwynnie Bee came through with some great pieces and some phenomenal values! I still am stunned by how much I paid for that Anne Klein dress. This illustrates one of many reasons why I love Gwynnie Bee so much: their sales and rewards programs. They have frequent sales on at-home pieces and returned items where they take additional percentages off of the cost of items, but you stand to save even more with the combination of the reward points you accrue! Plus in addition to being able to purchase rented pieces you have fallen in love with, you can also take advantage of the Gwynnie Bee Market Place. The Market Place is filled with bargains and amazing pieces at final discount prices. The Market Place also offers additional sales as well! I have seen dresses by big-name brands like Eloquii and Modcloth on there for as low as $4 or $5! Not only all of this-- but having everything delivered all to your doorstep? No need to take a trip to the mall and sift through the sales racks, my friends! Your bedroom can be your fitting room! This rental service is great too with people slowly going to more events and back to their office jobs. You are able to wear pieces to work or special events without any commitment to buy! What are you waiting for, my friends?

Other Things You Should Know

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! All three pieces are available to rent.

Value Breakdown: Gwynnie Bee’s costs range depending on your subscription and how many items you are sent at a time. I have the $95.00 three-item-at-a-time plan. This includes free shipping and returns. I can get as many pieces as I like monthly, as long as I return each item first. I got three items this month. The three items total up to $96.00, which is $1 more than my monthly plan! That may not seem like a great savings, but a lot of these pieces were extremely discounted and only available at that price through Gwynnie Bee. Imagine also the even greater value had I sent these pieces back sooner and received additional pieces!
