Goddess Provisions “Altar Adornments” June 2021 Review

The box comes with a short but informative booklet that outlines all of the items inside and discloses the theme. This month’s theme is “Altar Adornments” featuring cute items to enhance your sacred space.

Goddess Provisions Amethyst String Lights– Listed Value $22.00

Let’s get right into these altar adornments! Our first item is this beautiful string of amethyst lights. Not only do these lights illuminate your altar space, they are made of amethyst stone. Amethyst is used for protection and is perfect for keeping your altar safe. These lights are battery operated which is so convenient.

I need to find a better way to display these lights, but I love them!

Incausa Hand-Pressed Palo Santo Incense– Retail Value $7.00

Palo Santo sticks are a staple in my altar space. I light them to clear any negative energy away, acknowledge the positive energy that is currently in my space, and add a pleasant scent throughout. These specific hand-pressed sticks are from indigenous Peruvian harvesters and smell divine. Because of their density, my space became fragrant almost immediately and I know these sticks will last a long time. A 15% off coupon was included for use at Incausa.

Blood Stone– Listed Value $4.00

This is my first blood stone, and I am thrilled to add it to my altar! Blood stone is used for cleansing and aligning your heart chakra. The color is a deep marble teal that I am in love with. Use this healing stone to rid any stressors in your spirit.

Lunar Phases Singing Bowl – Retail Value $33.00

This is my first singing bowl and it’s gorgeous! The bowl is made of brass and hand-painted by artists in India. I’ve never actually known what a singing bowl was to be used for, I’ve just always enjoyed the melodies it made. But I’ve now learned that singing bowls are used for relaxation. and it makes sense why I loved hearing the sound! Such a great addition to my space.

Species By The Thousands Clearing Mist, 2 oz – Retail Value $20.00

Our last item in our “Altar Adornments” box is an energy clearing spray. The ingredients used are all-natural and consist of distilled water, witch hazel, and palo santo essential oils. Along with clearing my space, I used the spritz on my face! The smell of palo santo was so calming and the witch hazel felt refreshing to my skin.  A 25% off coupon was included to be used at Species By The Thousands.

*Digital Bonus* A Guide to Building Sacred Spaces

Our digital bonus this month is a downloadable pdf guide on the history of altar spaces and how to set up your very own! I’m not always interested in the digital bonuses, but I find sanctuary creation and design so fascinating. There was a space to type out your thoughts about specific pages in the document. Those comments are able to be seen by anyone who has access to the course, which was cool to feel like I was in a group training class.

Verdict: Goddess Provisions has been very hit or miss for me lately. So thankful this month was a hit! All items were on par with the altar adornment theme. The hand-pressed palo santo was one of my favorite items. The density of the palo santo will allow me to have it forever! I estimate that I received a retail value of $86 in items (not including the digital bonus).

The amethyst lights are amazing! I would get this box for those alone but the singing bowl is also lovely.

I used to sub to this box a few years back but was completely underwhelmed with all the aromatherapy and sprays and roll-ons and oils. Way too much of the box value was for these items that no one could use in a year. May have to look at this box again through new eyes.
