Wantable Fitness Edit February 2020 subscription

Wantable has just launched a new collection called the Sleep and Body Edit that they promise "ensures every outfit starts with great-fitting lingerie, and every good night’s sleep starts with sleepwear that helps your inner you shine."

We created the all-new Sleep & Body Edit to give real, beautiful women (like you) the kind of bras, panties, lingerie and sleepwear they want all in one Edit! You can also tell your stylist what kinds of styles you love by requesting them on The Stream. New items are added daily, so check it often.

As part of your lingerie and sleepwear subscription, enjoy an exquisite selection of bras and panties, bodysuits, pajamas, robes, loungewear, and more. Get 7 stylist-selected items in sizes XS to 3X. Plus, the chance to discover luxurious items in pure silk or featuring handmade lace.

The Stream is Wantable's tool that helps connect you to styles they think you'll love. It allows you to browse through pieces selected by Wantable's stylists that match your style quiz preferences. You can also request or decline items to help your stylist build your Edit.

The Sleep and Body Edit can be pre-ordered now and will become available in early July.

Here are just a few looks from the Sleep and Body Edit that you could receive:

Wantable is a personal styling service that sends high-quality clothing and accessories based on a user’s style profile after taking a style quiz.

There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to any purchase made from your “Edit” and if you keep 5 or more items, you receive a 20% discount as well. Wantable offers three different styling subscription services: the Women’s Style Edit, Active Edit, and Men’s Active Edit. Each one allows members to try out different styles at home before committing to their purchase. This means members can try 7 clothing and/or accessory items handpicked just for them in the comfort of home before buying them.

The Box: Wantable Sleep and Body Edit

The Cost: $20 styling fee

The Products: 7 pieces personally curated just for you that may include pajamas, robes, lingerie, loungewear, bodysuits, bras and panties

I wish there were more lounge focused clothing boxes.

I also wish that more boxes allowed you to pay a flat fee to keep what you get in the box. I looked at Wantable’s Stream for the first time and searched for some of the clothes in the stream. Most were no longer available from the brand, but then you take a look at that brand and you can tell that they got a sale item, but are quoting the retail price. You can glean this by looking at the sale or clearance section and see that the clothes there have are the same style as the item in the stream. Or they could just be buying them bulk from a manufacturer, but I never saw a link for bulk orders of an item.

Do others know if this is how Wantable or other clothing boxes of this model work?

I guess I would pay the money to just receive and keep the clothes without having to return. But then I probably would think, why not go to Ross and pick out what you like. In essence it is the same thing. Ross stocks overstock of the last inventory of a brand. Since clothing stores now switch out their “seasons” more quickly and now there are 10 or more cycles in fashion than four the clothes available are not that far removed from what’s currently in stock at the brand name’s brick and mortar store.

I guess I am getting disillusioned with boxes. I cancelled all of them and then couldn’t totally walk away, so I signed up for the Beachly Beauty Box. Price is pretty good, full sized items, more skin and hair care with a little makeup. Plus no weird brands that are made with imported ingredients that is sold to many private pop up companies and they each slap their branding on it. I forgot the name for this practice if someone could remind me. I got sick of how much that was happening in Ipsy. I had even got my profile to where it was perfect. i got almost all skin or hair care and then one or two makeup items, which I would change my survey to reflect that I loved mascara when I needed mascara and foundation or tinted bb creams when I needed face base makeup. Yet all this new makeup scheme made me concerned with what I was receiving. In the last Ipsy X box I finally got the modern romance Anastasia palette, so I left on a high note.

Since this isn’t a real conversation with anyone, and no one can tell me to STOP talking, I have rambled more than I should, talked only about myself and took my inner narcissist out for a spin

So I just got started recently with Wantable, because the clothes I was getting from Stitch Fix were poor quality and overpriced and not my style at all… I do have to say that I’m enjoying Wantable much more. They do have some athleisure edits, if you’re looking for more lounge and less boudoir.

The two edits I’ve gotten so far have actually been pretty great, and they did include some items that I requested from the stream. I’ve looked up every item I’ve gotten so far, and yea while some of them I’ve been able to find on sale at Nordstrom, they were all size 0 or something. I do like that you get 7 items, and get the discount if you keep 5 or more. The price on their items is exactly what you would find it for in the department store, or directly from the brand. Which is another thing I like….there are brands that I recognize, mixed in with some of their in-house brands (not as much as SF, who has pretty much all in-house brands).

I enjoy this because I absolutely hate clothes shopping, so it’s nice to have someone choose for me, and I love the surprise of Wantable, because you can’t see your items until you actually receive your box. Anywho, that’s my experience!

@Leslie – you’re welcome!

Leslie

Amber, thanks for that. Your experience with Wantable sounds really nice. I guess I was being unfair about the pricing. Thank you for clarifying!
Now this is a conversation after all. 😃

Great Ted talk! 🤣 I would love a loungewear subscription. Something that is reasonable. I don’t know about you but I’m not wearing fancy bras and panties around the house. Ellie is the closest thing I use for this purpose.

I’ve been with Ellie since 2019 and they are only getting better. I size up for extra comfort as I am not trying to impress anyone. I like that I can wear their outfits around the house, run errands and go for a walk without having to change. The outfit curation makes me feel put together and they make it super easy to skip a month if you don’t see something you like. I’m hoping they start adding more lounge wear to their collections and as a 40 y/o I could do without all the crop tops they are offering this season. Customer Service is also great and their business model is way less confusing than fabletics. Thank you for listening to my Ted talk xoxo

Leslie.

Hi Lisa. Yes, lounge clothes are wear it’s at and I too would much rather wear joggers and a comfy t-shirt, then lingerie. I have actually thought about joining Elle with the same mission.

And I am great at impromptu Ted Talks. LOL

Thanks!
