Medusa’s Make-Up June 2021 “Bon Voyage” Review

Along with my beauty items, I received an info card that details what items are in the box. I also received a Save the Date card for Medusa’s Makeup August birthday bash! This beauty box is turning 5 years old. Exciting!

Seraphine Botanicals Liquid Coal Eyeliner – Retail Value $22.00

Jumping right into our June box with this liquid eyeliner. Liquid eyeliner has been a staple in my makeup bag since high school.  While I still can’t do a cat eye, I love a defined line right above my lashes.

The tip of the liner is nice and sturdy giving a medium-thick line. This item is waterproof, so I used coconut oil to remove the makeup at bedtime. It came off with no trouble!

Medusa’s Highlighter Hotel – Retail Value $16.00

I love a nice highlight shimmer! Even if I decide to not wear foundation, I’ll throw a highlighter on to not make me look so dull. This highlighter is a light golden blush color and is light enough for a natural look or can be built to total glam!

I did a light dusting on my cheekbone and can notice the subtle shimmer.

Medusa’s Vegan Lipstick (Triple X), 3.5 g –  Retail Value $14.00

This bright hot pink lipstick screams “Bon Voyage! I’m out of here. See ya when I’m back from Paris”. In other words, this color equals a good time! The lipstick is creamy in texture and highly pigmented.

I love how the color on my lips was just about as vibrant as the swatch on my wrist!

Beauty Host Camellia Brightening Mask – Listed Value $4.99

Out of all the facial masks, those that brighten are my favorite. I’ve never used Beauty Host’s products before and was curious if my face would look brighter after using this mask, which smelled sweet and florally. After about 20 minutes, I removed the sheet mask, and not only did my skin look more refreshed, it was very soft. I’d love to check out their other masks.

Medusa’s Halo Glow (Tiger Lily) – Retail Value $16.00

Our last item in this month’s box is a blush balm in a terra cotta color. I have another Halo Glow stick in a more iridescent color, which I love, but sadly don’t get to wear out as much because of the shade. This Tiger Lily color, however, is one that I can wear almost every day.

You see those rosy cheeks 🙂

Verdict: This Medusa’s Makeup box was really cute! I’m loving the bright pink lipstick received this month. Such a fun color and not one I have too many of. I estimate I received $72.99 worth of items. That’s an awesome value for having only paid $18.95!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! Orders are generally processed within 1-3 business days.

COUPON: Use code HOORAY to take 20% off your first box!

Value Breakdown: At $18.95 for this box, here’s what you’re paying for each item:

  • Eye liner- $5.71
  • Highlighter- $4.15
  • Lipstick- $3.63
  • Face mask- $1.30
  • Glow stick- $4.15
