I’m so bummed that I ran and bought this before they added to the website to say no skincare included… So I spent all this money on random accessories I probably could have bought from Amazon… Ugh oh well. I feel like the graphics they used and the ones here could have been more clear to show merch as opposed to skin care products.

To be fair the website description did clearly state no skin care products merchandise only but it should have been in bigger font and maybe even a pop-up window saying it but you did exactly what they wanted people to do immediately rush to buy it without reading and msa definitely made sure not to mention it so they can get paid when people buy it from their ad.

Sue

This is pretty low to purposely mislead readers.

I think their merch stuff that I’ve seen is cute! It usually has embroidered fruits! I think they had a banana sweatshirt I really wanted but it was like $50…would’ve bought it in a heartbeat for $10!

Linda

No skincare means no way.

Is it just me, but if they sell their merch online shouldn’t there just be a picture of different MERCH at the top of the post? Lol

I received an email from Glow Recipe and immediately went to purchase. I’m so grateful that I read the very small print that said “no skincare included in mystery boxes”. I feel like they should have been A LOT CLEARER on this point.

Lana

Yes, and so should MSA. Why is there a photo of a bunch of skincare?

Sue

I honestly thought msa couldn’t stoop any lower. They proved me wrong.

Snow

I agree that definitely gives the wrong impression. At this point, why not just say what is in these boxes? Seems the easiest way to avoid ticking people off.

Jody

Not very happy. They changed the wording on the site after I ordered the boxes. I was expecting some skincare. Very misleading advertising first thing this morning when I got an email.
I can’t find a phone number to call them.

Michele

All I did was email them and open up a PayPal case saying that a blog misrepresented what was in the mystery box. I had my money back within the hour

Sarah

Is this seriously a bunch of merch with probably the glow recipe logo on it. LOL, who would pay money for that? Yikes.

Jenn

The website says no skincare items included. Well then why is there a big pic of their skincare on this post? Yes, it’s says no skincare when you read the description on the Glow Recipe website but if I was trying to quickly purchase in a hurry, I would have been led to believe there was some skincare in the boxes based upon this post. I know it’s my responsibility to be an educated consumer which is why I went to the website and read the description but I know there’s others that don’t always do that.

Because MSA wants us to blindly purchase things based off their advertisements, knowing that most of us would be happy getting a mystery box full of skincare at a good discount, and not a box of branded merchandise.

Fudge

I didn’t realize that thanks MSA I just purchased thinking I’d get skincare ffs

Jackie

Yikes! Thanks for the heads up.

Carol

I hate branded stuff lol.

Lexi

Mystery apparel and accessories? No, thank you.

Snow

Free advertisement for glow recipe “merch” stuff? No thanks.

I contacted them after I ordered

THESE BOXES ARE ALL MERCHANDISE AND NO PRODUCT.

Thankfully, I believe they are going to let me cancel

I love Glow Recipe skincare products, but I’m really wary that these are called merch boxes. I am not interested in branded T-shirts, tote bags, or scarves, and I have a feeling that is most, if not all, of what these boxes contain.

I went ahead and got the first 2. The workout one was sold out and the night-time one was the only one that mentioned apparel so I’m hoping it’s the only one that includes it 🤞🤞🤞 I used the 10% off code and my total was $74.70 I like their products so I hope it turns out to be a good deal.

Um Traci- you are not getting any skincare items (unless the samples are skincare) in this box. Even though only one box mentions apparel, it is bolded on their site that the boxes contain merchandise (non skin care items), On the order page it also says

*Please note that these boxes contain Merch Items only and no skincare products are included.
*All merch box items are final sale & cannot be returned. Merch box items not offered in specialty packaging & will arrive individually wrapped. Includes non-skincare merchandise items only.

So unless you are okay spending this much for clothing and accessories with their logo, you might want to contact them.

Yeah, I have a comment above that posted moments later after contacting them. I was refunded.

Lana

There’s no skincare in these boxes. Your comment sounds like you’re maybe expecting some. I’d contact them asap and cancel, if that’s the case

Shannon

It appears the boxes are all merch! Not skincare.

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

Someone above mentioned they contacted Glow Recipe and they said these are all merchandise, no skincare. Hopefully it’s a mistake but I’m not risking it.

Reply ButtonReply

Lana

I’m put off by the “merch”

Reply ButtonReply

carol

What about “sesh?”

Reply ButtonReply

Yanni

I love you, carol.

Kim randall

Hahaha….

Izzie

I appreciate the element of surprise, however, when there is mysterious apparel in size M included in the mix, I wish they’d disclose it.

Boxy Fox

They also sell mech with their name on stuff so I’d be weary that these may not all be skin care, otherwise so tempted.

Reply ButtonReply

Ariadne

There is a non-mystery merch box on the site and it contains a body cream, pillow case, bath mat, and towel wrap. I’m guessing the formula for the mystery boxes is similar–one skincare product, 2-3 branded items.
