FaceTory 7 Lux March 2021 Review

Here is our helpful info booklet with details for all of our masks.

Now on to the masks themselves:

FaceTory Oats My Bananas! Sheet Mask - Retail Value $3.50

Facetory does a really good job with its own-brand masks and products. I tend to love every single one I have tried! This mask was very calming and soothing which I would expect from a mask with oat extract inside! It also helps ease redness, a benefit I noticed! The milky serum was plentiful and also very hydrating.

Muldream All Green Mild Mask - Retail Value $3.00 (currently sold out)

How pretty is this pouch design? Love it! I also liked this mask, which had SO much serum inside. You can literally apply the leftovers to your arms like a lotion if you wanted to. It was also a very hydrating formula that had a wonderfully warm scent with a little spice. I was very into it!

SKINSIX Canada Glacial Water Sheet Mask - Retail Value $3.00 (currently sold out)

This I was less into. Sure, I loved the fresh and aquatic scent of the serum, but it was too watery and runny and made a huge mess. The eye holes were also not positioned well for me and I got a lot of this in my eyes. And despite the honey and hyaluronic acid inside, I didn't notice a huge difference after using this one.

Sandawha Calendula Sheet Mask - Retail Value $3.00 (currently sold out)

I love masks with calendula inside because they are so soothing! If you are prone to redness or irritation, you need some of this yellow flower in your life ASAP. This mask fit well and was so soothing on my face. There was plenty of serum and the combination of calendula, green tea, cica, and jasmine was fresh and calming, leaving my face more even and plump!

Let Me Skin O2 Bubble Bubble Mask - Retail Value $5.00 (currently sold out)

This mask kind of bummed me out because I expected it to be one of those bubble masks that literally bubbled. Those are so fun and insane. This one had no bubbling that I noticed and was just ok. The mask wasn't the best fit, nor the worst, and there was no real scent to speak of.

Elmolu Hanaro Modeling Mask - Retail Value $3.00 (currently sold out)

I really, really disliked the mask. I never recommend peel-off formulas to clients and especially not anyone with redness, sensitivity, or dry skin. Sure, this was cool because it was pre-mixed, meaning you don't have to do much work. But there wasn't even enough in here for a full face and I found that it never actually dried down enough to peel off. The areas I could peel were red and irritated, making this a big "no" from me.

Bonajour BioActive Ampoule Mask - Retail Value $3.00 (currently sold out)

My final mask was really soothing and pleasant. It contains antioxidants, panthenol, and lots of plant extracts. I found the mask fit well, had a nice clean scent, and was hydrating and smoothing.

Sandawha Camellia Healing Lip Balm - Retail Value $10.00 (currently sold out)

I have been loving the Facetory 7 bonus items, and this lip balm is one of my favorites ever. It smells so incredible! Like flowers and herbs! And it is such a rich and nourishing balm. I like to keep it by my bed to wear before I sleep and I have noticed a great improvement in my dryness in the morning.

Verdict: FaceTory was a little more hit and miss than I am used to from this subscription, but I like this one so much and so consistently that I am willing to let it pass as a fluke. The masks I did like were really awesome and I absolutely adored the lip balm extra! Fingers crossed for a better April delivery.
