Iconic London Sunset To Sunrise Palette - Retail Value $65.00

This palette is HUGE. It holds 20 warm sunset-inspired shades and is rather hard to hold in one hand. While I found some of these shades a little repetitive, there were others that I ended up absolutely loving. That pastel yellow that I thought I would hate ended up being one of my favorites for its brightening and unique look. I also loved the matte shades Somer Lovin', Sunkissed, and Tan Lines. They performed really well and were great natural complements to my skin tone. The shimmers were all very pretty too, though I would have preferred a bolder look from Ultraviolet. As someone who loves weird purple shadows, it was rather subdued on my skin compared to what I expected from the pan. There is plenty to play with in here and I can imagine most warm shadow enthusiasts will have a lot of fun with this one.

A simple sunset-inspired look. I actually love the pastel yellow on my lid because it's super brightening without being too yellow. I used Mimosa, Sunkissed, Heatwave, and Aloha.

Natasha Denona Coral Eyeshadow Palette - Retail Value $48.00

This box was a total eyeshadow party, and you won't get any complaints from me. Do I need more eyeshadow? Absolutely not. But I still get excited each time a palette shows up in a box! Though some ND shadows have fallout in their pans (I think this happens because the clear lid snaps into place with a lot of force?) I really like their performance on my lids. This coral palette is a dream, and look at that shimmering purple in the middle! These kind of weird, slightly sheer, shimmers are my favorites! I like to wear them alone for a sheer wash of sparkly goodness or use them a little damp to build up the opacity. I like wearing pinks and reds too, and the brick and pink mattes were beautifully pigmented while the shimmers were smooth and vibrant.

Top to bottom: Kai, Lyria, Abalone, Dakota, and Lola.

This shimmery lilac is my type of shade! I love adding the rust accent against it. I used Dakota and Abalone in this look.

Earth Harbor Naturals HELIOS Anti-Pollution Youth Ampoule, 1 fl oz - Retail Value $48.00

I love Earth Harbor Naturals formulas because they are always full of such skin-loving delights and the packaging is so pretty. This particular blend is focused on repairing the skin and protecting it from pollutants and sun exposure by boosting antioxidants and balancing your skin's pH. Inside this bottle is a potent blend of oils such as grapeseed, marula, baobab, pumpkin, borage, and jojoba. The antioxidant boosts come from pomegranate oil, apple extract, red algae, and calendula. It has a subtle scent of orange flowers that I love and it absorbs easily on my dry skin. I like to apply a few drops directly to my face but you can also add a few drops to your fave moisturizer if you want a lighter application.

Heal Yourself Crystal Roller Lip Gloss - Retail Value $12.00

Find Love Crystal Roller Lip Gloss - Retail Value $12.00

So while I wasn't particularly impressed with the lip gloss inside these rollers, I was totally in love with the rose quartz and amethyst chips inside. Each of the actual rollers were also made out of these stones! The prettiness factor did help me overlook these honestly boring glosses. They were moisturizing enough but had no scent which made me feel like I was just rolling clear oil on my lips. The added gloss was also a plus, but I think these could have been more exciting in terms of the actual flavor.

LUXE + WILLOW 4-Piece Reusable Bamboo Makeup Removal Pads - Listed Value $20.00

I have a growing collection of these reusable cleansing cloths that I use all the time! The more, the merrier in my book, because I can always be sure to have spares when some are in the wash. I use these in the shower with a cleanser if I want a little extra scrub as well as with liquid toners. When I need to wash them, I just toss them in a lingerie bag (you can also use the one included here) and put them through a normal wash cycle in my washing machine. I also dry them in the bag but they can also be air-dried.

Dose of Colors Eyeliner in 'Unbox' - Retail Value $15.00

A non-black eyeliner has arrived to me!!!!! I am seriously shocked. I need to play the lottery. Kidding aside (I might buy a ticket for real though) I was so pleased to see a beautiful brown liner in this box. Calling it brown isn't really doing it justice because it's more like a rich, dark, terracotta. The formula was very pigmented and super smooth, though I did twist too much out of the tip at first and broke off a little. Whoops. This stuff has some major staying power and settles into a matte finish that is easy to work with, but be fast!

It's not black!

Kind of into it!

Verdict: My BoxyCharm Premium was SO much better than last month's. Sure, it was like, half eyeshadow, but I really like eyeshadow palettes. I think it stems from my love of paints and art supplies because palettes feel like art kits for my face. Both of these were beautiful and the quality was very good. I also loved the Earth Harbor ampoule and have really been enjoying it after sun exposure. The lip glosses won me over because of the crystals inside and the makeup pads are always going to be put to good use. And an eyeliner that was a great formula and NOT black? I am still smiling. All in all, I really enjoyed this box and thought there was obvious value here. Hopefully, my next one is also great! My BoxyCharm Premium box has an overall value of $220 which is great for a $35 box.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Hey Megan, are you still reviewing beauty heroes? It’s my last subscription standing, and I always like reading your take on the products! I noticed that the April box wasn’t reviewed, and I’m not sure if you’re planning a may box review coming up.

Thanks!

This is a good box. I wish the Premiums I had this last go round had been this good. I probably would have stayed subscribed. Lol

Definitely an eye shadow heavy box! Not sure why those cotton rounds are $5 each?!

I really like the Earth Harbour serums/oils too. They have been heavily featured in various subscription boxes, but I don’t mind! I actually use like 6-8 drops in the morning under my moisturizer when I have to get ready quickly and don’t have time for a bunch of serums on my face.

It’s just so true what they say, if your skin is in good shape, it makes everything else you put on look that much better. Of course it can be quite the journey to get to that point, but we all got a story to share.

Thanks Megan for the review!
