Vine Oh! "Oh! Happy Day!” Spring 2021 Review

There is a card for each item, as well as an overview card with the total box value enclosed in the Oh! envelope.

Now onto the items. Let's start with some wine!

The wines included in the box are custom-made for Vine Oh! so if you like a bottle and want more, you can usually find them available for purchase in the Vine Oh! wine shop. You have the option of either two sweets, two whites, two reds, or a mix.

2018 Night Vine California Chardonnay – Retail Value $24.00

Night Vine Chardonnay delivers aromas of ripe pear, vanilla, caramel, and citrus leads to flavors of whipped sweet cream and balanced oak.

I wouldn't say that Chardonnay is my favorite wine, but this one was really very tasty and so easy to drink. It had a creaminess and just a little bit of oak. I found it was pretty citrus-forward but that was balanced out with some of the lighter vanilla notes. I enjoyed this one at room temperature but I bet it would have been good chilled too!

2017 Speechless California Merlot – Retail Value $24.00

Speechless California Merlot delivers aromas of dried figs, black currants and cinnamon, with flavors of anise and licorice, blackberry jam and notes of cloves and caraway.

Merlot is another wine that doesn't make my top 3 list but I did enjoy this bottle because it was very jammy with a base of darker spices. I actually had some blackberries on hand and decided to float a few in my glass while I sipped this one. Highly recommend!

Asobu Skinny Mini Ultimate Lady Flask – Listed Value $19.99

This was such a great addition to this box! With spring coming and then summer picnics, this slim flask is perfect for transporting your favorite wine or libation. It holds about 8 fl oz and is double insulated to keep your drink hot or cold for hours. The slim design is a perfect fit for a purse!

Zaxie by Stefanie Taylor Stud Earrings

I think these could have been a little more adventurous but at the end of the day, who doesn't enjoy a classic stud? Set into a silver plated metal and very sparkly, these are a nice touch for any sort of outing, fancy or casual. They look especially cute if you have a few different smaller earrings together in the same lobe.

Dainty.

Cuccio Natural Milk & Honey Cuticle Revitalizing Oil, 75 mL – Retail Value $13.98

I was super excited about this addition to the box! I really, really need to start taking better care of my cuticles. I am terrible about biting them. And if you have thinner and brittle nails like I do anyway, it isn't a cute look. This large bottle of oil holds a mix of safflower oil, sunflower seed oil, vitamin E, and honey! It smells like honey too and the scent is subtle and sweet. The bottle itself has a very cool round design and can even sit at an angle. This is the same sort of oil that my nail artist used when I was a regular, and I am thrilled to have one of my own now.

Wet Brush Pro Detangler - Retail Value $14.99

I have gotten a brush like this before, but I tend to lose them because I take them to the gym or on trips and they never come back home. These are perfect for people like me who tend to brush their hair while it is wet. It does a good job of detangling with less pain than many others and I like the floral design.

Legally Addictive The O.G., 1.34 oz - Buy a 4 pack of 4.7 oz bags for $39.99

I am actually glad this bag was small because these really were addictive. I love chocolate, toffee, and crackers, and the combination of these loves into one snappy sweet treat was totally irresistible. There was also a little sea salt which enhanced the flavors of the other ingredients. I would really like more of these!!

The Verdict: Vine Oh! box always feels like a friend put together a little surprise package for you full of things you are going to enjoy. I thought this season was a lot of fun! The wines were both delicious and all of the extra treats were super enjoyable and useful too. The crackers were probably my favorite, but I was also smitten with the cuticle oil and I thought the hairbrush was perfect for my gym bag. The flask will be making trips with me for some much-deserved summer picnics and the earrings are just a nice little sparkly addition to most any look.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

OMG! In love with this box! The most amazing things about these boxes is never knowing I need something until it shows up! The cracker cookies are actually addictive and I definitely didn’t eat them all in one sitting. 😜 another great box!

I always read these reviews hoping that VineOh! stops being so boring. I see they’re still playing it safe. A trendy curation like PopSugar along with wine would be so great!!! This box has no originality. Too bad!

What a fun box this time! I am always struggling bc my waterbottles are too big and heavy for my purse, and then when i have water in it, it’s so heavy. This smaller size will be perfect for this spring and summer! I can’t wait to try the cookie-crackers, i always need another hairbrush (my girls are always losing them) and the cuticle always is something i always forget to buy. So, I’m giving this 2 thumbs up

When I saw the spoiler for this box, it never even crossed my mind that the appropriately named “flask” could be used for alcohol…I just assumed it was yet another water bottle. More excited about it now! 🙂
I also wish they’d stop putting earrings in these boxes..necklaces or bracelets would be so much better!

Good review as usual Megan. Where was that flask when I was younger and used to sneak alcohol into events. I could have told the security, bouncer etc, that it was a tampon holder. Lol

I used to get this subscription and really enjoyed it, and agree with you Megan, it does feel like a friend sent you a gift. My budget does not allow for splurges and I do miss getting this one.

I’m annoyed about the second hairbrush. They just sent one last summer. I don’t get why they would send the exact same item twice in a year… Between that and the frequency with which they send earrings, I am debating unsubscribing. I don’t wear earrings because, even though my ears are pierced, they react badly to earrings and tend to close up really easily.

Megan, I wanted a much bigger bag of the treats! It’s funny that you got a black flask! You will need some bright stickers to find it in your bag. I got a solid bright teal color. I think I could rock the earrings for a wedding in the Fall?
I think I am rating this my number 1 box to receive right now!!
