Each box will include 5-7 full-size makeup, skincare, and other self-care products. They seem to focus on smaller indie brands that may be new to you, so this box is a great way to discover companies that haven't blown up in popularity yet. They also have The Box For Men ($29.99/month), as well as a mystery box that costs $40 as an add-on to a subscription, or $50 as a one-time purchase.

The Box By Fashionsta March 2021 Review

The Box By Fashionsta comes with a simple info card that provides a short description of each included product, along with its individual retail value. This month is called "Marchology" encouraging you to reveal your inner warrior.

Dito Muse Athena 16-Color Palette - Retail Value $28.99

This palette is stunning! It has me feeling really excited for summer where bright and bold colors rule. This palette is named after the Greek goddess Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war. That gold is really speaking to me, I am just not brave enough to try it just yet, maybe in the summer. The shadows are vegan with a mix of matte and shimmer tones. I am loving the strong green tones mixed with orange and neutrals so you can create a layered look, go bold one day with solid green, or be a bit more neutral another day. Each shadow had very little fallout and blended very nicely, making it great to mix together and layer if you want. I know that I am going to have this palette to turn to on those fun makeup days for a long time to come!

LipLove Liquid Gloss - Retail Value $12.00

I might have just met a gloss that I love! This goes on like a gloss, but it didn't have that sticky feeling. I think I also love that this is more of a dusty nude brown instead of a pink so the shimmer isn't so in your face like a pink shimmer gloss can be. This really worked well with my skin tone and with the eye makeup that I usually wear. This gloss was also super hydrating and is going to be perfect to toss on before heading to the pool so that I can feel and look put together without much effort. This can also be used as a highlight and eyeshadow or liner. The gloss is made with a mango seed butter, castor oil, strawberry seed oil, and jojoba oil to smooth and hydrate.

m.greengrass Sweet Clementine Dry Oil Spray, 4 fl oz. - Retail Value $36.00

I was really intrigued by this dry oil spray. You can use this on your body, hair, and face. It has a fragrant fruity scent of tangerine, mandarin, peach, mango, along with bergamot, jasmine, black current, musk, and vanilla. The top ingredients in this blend are isopropyl palmitate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, shea butter, sunflower seed oil, olive fruit oil, avocado oil, phospholipids, tocopheryl acetate, grape seed oil, and fragrance. This oil is extremely hydrating and absorbs into my skin so quickly. It doesn't leave me feeling greasy or sticky just soft and hydrated. I will say that since this is a spray it sort of goes everywhere and makes my floors and other areas in my bathroom super slick which isn't great for little kiddos running around. So I've been spraying this into my hands over my sink first and then rubbing over my body. This has a great amount of moisture on its own, but I have found that this is great as an added boost paired with a moisturizer and has really helped some dry winter skin spots on my knees, thighs, and arms. A little does go a long way so I would start by applying this to your hand first and then just enjoy that silky smooth hydration!

Sahara Rose Hydra C Serum Brightening & Plumping, 1 fl oz. - Retail Value $54.00

This is a combined brightening and revitalizing serum. This is honestly all of the best ingredients for dry skin all combined into one little bottle! My skin is so dry, but I have found that it loves hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to give it that radiant and fresh glow that I really love. This is made with vitamin C (3 glycerol ascorbate) which is a vitamin C derivative that brightens the overall appearance of your skin. It is also made with hyaluronic acid to hydrate, ceramides to smooth, tripeptides to make your skin more youthful, moth bean to reduce the signs of aging, licorice, mushroom, watermelon, and cactus to give your skin a healthy glow. This serum is pretty thick so I found that a little does go a long way, it is a little sticky as well so I have been making this the first product that I use for my nighttime skin routine. So far my skin is loving this serum!

Medusa's Waterproof Mascara - Retail Value $14.00

This is an extremely popular vegan mascara that is also cruelty-free and waterproof. This is the El Gato Nego (the black cat) color with a super thickening brush that has fuller bristles. My eyes can be sensitive, especially to new mascara brands, but I was really happy that this caused me zero irritation. I really wanted to love this mascara, but I found that it spread from my lashes to my under eye area, making black streaks on my face. I did wear this on a warmer day where I was outside a lot, so it could have been from the humid air, but I had to do a little mascara cleanup throughout the whole day. I also wasn't in love with the larger brush, it was very long and hard to control, but it did a great job at thickening my lashes. I am going to give this another go on a cooler day and see if it works a bit better then, but for now I wasn't totally sold on this.

LA Splash Cosmetics Art-Ki-Tekt Lip Sculptor - Retail Value $10.00

I haven't received a liner in a while so I was pumped to see this lip sculptor! The color is total perfection and will work with so many different shades. The lip pencil is highly pigmented, making it buildable, but it also is long-lasting. You can use this to line your lips or you can also use it to fill in. The other end also has a little smudge sponge to blend and blend for your desired look. I have been using this as a liner and have paired it with so many of my lipsticks to create different looks. The thing that I love though is that pretty much all of my lipsticks are working with this liner! This is going to be a staple for me for some time now!

Verdict: The Box By Fashionsta was full of winners for me! I was really feeling everything featured this month and felt excited to test and then reuse each of the products. That palette is beyond amazing. It is big and bold and filled with colors that I wouldn't purchase for myself. I can say though that I have reached for this palette every day since I got it! The lip liner was another item that I was excited to see since I haven't gotten a new liner in a while. The shade is beautiful and works really well with various lipstick colors. The Hydra C Serum brought together two products that my skin can't get enough of all in one convenient bottle. Since the serum is so thick and I don't need a ton, I know I am going to have this bottle for a long time! The dry oil was another surprise that I was really happy with! It is so hydrating and smells incredible, the perfect morning product to wake me up while keeping my skin silky smooth. This box has a retail value of $154.99 which is incredible for a $24.99 box. This has quickly become one of my favorite beauty boxes! It always feels like a winner and brings so many unique products that are high quality. You really can't beat that you are getting so many full-size items either! Any beauty lover would be thrilled to get this month after month!

Great review! I’m tempted to sign up for this sub, but I’ll wait until my Allure annual is up (six more months, sigh).

I honestly can’t say enough about that Athena Pallet by Dito Cosmetics. My favorite Pallet yet, the colors compliment one another perfectly, this dingy greens are just stunning. The pallet is so highly pigmented. I just love it. I watched a tutorial on YouTube, I absolutely love how the younger generation is so creative, with cosmetics, make-up should be fun at any age.
I love this box, their curation is spot on. I use almost every product I receive. Many of their products are multi use and versatile.

I absolutely agree! I think I could have watched a YouTube video using this palette over and over again.

I always enjoy their curation. I consistently find that I use up their products more than from any other subscription boxes.

I’m loving this sub so far! The curation is great. I’ve only opened the dry oil so far since I’m going through my backlog of products and want to wait to open to begin the clock on some, so it’s nice to see them reviewed. I love that liner shade, and the inclusion of a brush is neat! I might go ahead and work that into my rotation. The mascara I might have to pass on, though, as I do with almost every mascara, as I’m prone to racoon eyes. I got the Liplove in “Honey,” and may save it to use as an eye shade.

The dry oil smells amazing, and I agree spraying it on to hands first is better since it sprays a lot. I have a Margot Elena dry oil I already use for my legs and arms but I find this one is nice for a quick pick me up for my face, or as an after bath oil to lock in moisture.
