Stitch Fix Kids March 2021 Review

In our Stitch Fix Kids delivery, they always include an envelope with a prepaid shipping label for easy returns and exchanges.

This is the invoice that was sent in the Fix. It provides specifics on the brand, size, and price of each item. They also give instructions at the bottom for how to check out and either purchase or return your items in the pre-paid postmarked envelope they provide. The items for my daughter came to a total of $208.00, but with the 25% discount (which they take off BEFORE they deduct the $20.00) and the $20.00 credit, our total drops down to $136.00. That's a savings of $72.00 on this Fix.

This is the included style sheet, which features pictures of all the clothing and a note from her stylist. I let her know we were ready for some warm weather items this month!

Ameliya Dress & Denim Jacket Set, by Squeeze Size 8 - Cost to Keep $34.00

This dress is so bright and pretty! I love that it has the cute denim jacket to go over it. While Liv recently said she didn't like jean jackets, this month she apparently likes them (kids are so finicky!), and she really loved this dress and jacket combination. I love that it's essentially two different pieces and that the jacket can be worn with anything. Both pieces have just a bit of a stretch to them, and I think the longer fit of the jacket means it might fit her into the fall, too... if I'm lucky!

Krishna Smocked Maxi Dress by Design History, Size S - Cost to Keep $28.00

Liv loved this dress from the moment she saw it! I wish you could have seen the way her face lit up! You can tell how much she loves it by how happy she is wearing it. I love the smocked top and the long flowy, gradient skirt. It really is such a pretty dress with so many fun elements!

Manisha Tiered Dress by RUMI + RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $24.00

What a great spring dress with all of the bright colors and beautiful florals! The tiered style is really fun too and that cute opening at the back. It does run a bit wide for her tiny frame, but it isn't revealing, so I think she can get away with wearing this one!

Cassedy Cuffed Denim Short by Hippie Girl, Size 8 - Cost to Keep $24.00

Everyone needs a cute basic pair of denim shorts, and these cuffed, slightly distressed pair is cute, and even feature an adjustable waistband for the perfect fit. She actually liked these and said they were comfortable! You can see these on her in the photos below.

Baile Twist Front Graphic Tank by Love Glam Girl, Size M - Cost to Keep $14.00

I love the color of this tank top, and of course the cute "bee" happy graphic is fun, as is the little knot at the bottom. Again, it is slightly big on her and very long, but it isn't revealing in any way, so she might even get two seasons of wear out of this one! I think it's fun and super cute.

Morely Swing Tank by Persaya Girl, Size M - Cost to Keep $16.00

This swing tank is a bit dressier than the other tops we received this month, but I love the high neckline and the cute pattern. It has two layers since the top layer is a bit thinner and it has a button closure at the back. This one was so much prettier on her than I expected. It is so flowy and the design is really sweet. She seemed to really like it, too.

The Knit Dolphin Short by RUMI + RYDER, Size M- Cost to Keep $16.00

These shorts are cute and casual, perfect for playing outside in warmer weather! They aren't anything spectacular, but they are comfortable and the print is fun. You can see them pictured below, although her shirt is a bit long and covers most of them.

The Cross Back Graphic Tank by RUMI + RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $14.00

This tank top is just fun, cute, and perfect for a young girl. I love the black and white stripes and the fun cross detail at the back and the sequin ice cream cone is a great little summer accent! This one was a bit long on her, but it seemed to fit well in every other area.

Lada Graphic Velour Jogger by Neon Soul, Size S - Cost to Keep $20.00

We're really not cat people, but these velour pants are so soft and that reversible sequin kitten face is really fun! I love that it even has whiskers poking out from its little face. These seem kind of like pajama pants to me and I don't know if she would ever wear these out. I guess they are good lounge pants for her, but $20.00 for some lounge pants for a 6-year-old feels like it's a bit much to me!

The Tie Sleeve Graphic Tee by RUMI + RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $18.00

While we aren't really cat people, we are definitely dog people, so Liv loved this adorable top. I like all of the details like the tie sleeves and the cute sequin flowers! She was happy with this top, and I liked the pretty pastel color of the shirt.

The Verdict: This was a pretty great Stitch Fix Kids delivery for us this month! Of course, a few things were a little big, but not so much that she couldn't still get away with wearing them. She actually really loved every single thing they sent her and for the most part, so did I. Her stylist did a nice job of paying attention to fit and sending styles that Liv would love, so I'm happy with this fix! This was much more convenient than taking a trip to the store to try everything on, and I always appreciate how easy it is to send everything back if we have any misses!

Value Breakdown: This styling service costs $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $208.00. The invoice lists the cost of each item next to it, but if I keep all of the items, then I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the Fix is applied to the purchase no matter how many items you keep, and in this case, it would bring the total down to $136.00. That’s a discount of around 35% for these items!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

I’ve been really debating signing my three year old up for this…but I really do fine shopping at Target and Old Navy, haha!

I don’t get why someone needs or uses this? ThredUP is a great place to get kids clothing. Yes, the items are used BUT considering how fast kids grow out of their clothing and the cost of clothes, to me, it’s a better and cheaper option. If something doesn’t fit or the item isn’t liked, you can send it back free (for credit). I’ve shopped with ThredUP for years. I’ve had a few stinkers but never had any bad CS experiences.

The Krishna dress is so cute on Liv. I want the Morels tank. I love the pattern. This was a real good selection of clothes. Liv must be very happy.
