March 2021 Petit Vour Review

Each box arrives with a card detailing the items included and their listed values. I liked the floral print on the other side.

Johnny Concert Maudit Liquid Lipstick in Le Beige, 5.75 g - Retail Value $25.00

Trying out this liquid lipstick was a bit of journey. When I first applied it, I noticed that the formula had a sweet scent, and the texture was a bit more liquid-y and thinner than what I usually expect for a liquid lipstick. It was really creamy when I applied it, but it took forever to dry down- so much that I grabbed a napkin and blotted it off. Once there was no longer transfer on the napkin, I figured the lipstick had come off and this wasn’t a fit for me, but then I checked my reflection and saw the color was still there like a stain. The color has been growing on me too- at first I thought it was a bit too brown for me, but after wearing it a little longer the nude shade grew on me. This was an incredibly comfortable matte lipstick once I had blotted it away, and I’ll be reaching for this again.

Here it is swatched.

Plenitude Mandarin Orange Nourishing Cleanser, 30 ml - Retail Value $15.00

My first impression of this cleanser is that I found the packaging to be beautiful. It came in a velvety bag, and the glass packaging is lovely. The performance was equally lovely- it has a light orange color and smells like orange thanks to multiple orange essential oils, and the texture was really creamy. When I was washing my face I noticed that this did lather up the way most cleansers do, and I could tell before I even washed the cleanser away that my skin was more hydrated. From start to finish this cleanser was a joy, and I appreciate Petit Vour for introducing me to it.

Juice Beauty Bamboo Pore Refining Mask, 15 ml - Estimated Value $9.00 (Buy the 60 ml version for $36.00)

This isn’t your typical mud mask! The first two ingredients are actually aloe and glycerin, so this is actually much more hydrating than clay-based masks usually are. This is made with bamboo charcoal and kaolin clay, and it also has apple juice (that’s a unique one!), Shea butter, and bentonite clay. The end result is a mask that helps with excess oil and acne, while not drying out your skin. I enjoyed the experience of using this, and appreciate that the formula was easy to wash off (sometimes clay masks love to stick around). I’m not really a big fan of Juice Beauty, so I appreciate Petit Vour including a product that showed me the brand has some winners after all.

Yuni Shower Sheets, 2 ct - Listed Value $3.00 (buy 12 for $16.50)

I love having sheets like these handy in my purse for whatever random need that will inevitably arise in the future. I usually use these when I am done with a workout but can’t go straight home to shower, so I’m able to freshen up on the go. These are refreshing on sweaty skin thanks to the peppermint oil, and the aloe and neem leaf extract. Plus, they smelled citrusy! I don’t have a need for these kind of wipes often, but when I do need them I’m always really appreciative to have them handy.

Verdict: This was another nice box from Petit Vour. I’m pleasantly surprised by how that liquid lipstick grew on me, and the Plenitude cleanser really is a small bottle of luxury I’m able to add to my routine. Plus, the lipstick alone is worth more than the cost of the entire box! Rounding out the box with a face mask and shower wipes makes this a well-rounded assortment of vegan beauty products. Value-wise, everything adds up to $52.00, which is almost three times more than the cost of the box and a good deal for a box that exclusively sends vegan beauty products.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Your first box will likely be the April box. I recommend reaching out to Petit Vour to confirm! This box also has variants based on your beauty profile, so yours might be totally different than mine.
