Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes, and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five items that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five items too!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

FYI, COVID-19 Update:

Due to health and safety measures we are taking to protect our employees, orders may be delayed. We appreciate your patience!

Dia & Co January 2021 Review

That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month now comes as a sleeve so you can pull out the message and attached invoice. Wild! Looks rather chic, I must say! Also included is the free return shipping envelope as well.

Enclosed is another awesome message from my stylist, Kristin S.! She complimented the three pieces that I selected this month and gave some fantastic styling tips too!

The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren't listed, so this form is a bit inaccurate. The total would be $356. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $252! The savings would be $104 if I did decide to keep everything! That savings would be like getting the Betsey Johnson dress for free  -- that's pretty fantastic!

Lastly, Dia & Co included a Lavendia Ticket that automatically puts you in the running to win a $500 gift card from Dia & Co! This is my January box, so it is safe to say I didn't win-- but how exciting, right?

Now for the fashions!

Davina Metallic Jumpsuit by East Adeline, Size 3x-- Listed Value $69.00, On Sale for $35.00

I had been eyeing up this jumpsuit for some time, but decided to give it a go this month! If you know me through my reviews, you know I am a sucker for glamorous rhinestone-encrusted, leopard prints, and metallic fabrics alike. I don't shy away from the glitz! I opted to try this piece in a 3x to ensure it was roomy and I am so glad I did! This jumpsuit has loads of stretch and is as comfortable to wear as it is to get on and off. I did some easy styling by pairing this piece with some flats and awesome Bee earrings my friend, Masha, from Electric Cat Shop gifted me! This would look fantastic topped off with a leopard faux fur bolero coat or for a more subdued look a black blazer.

Lenore Shift Dress by Betsey Johnson, Size 22 — Listed Value $99.00, On Sale for $75.00

My most recent Gwynnie Bee review included this Betsey Johnson dress as well but in a size 20! I didn't realize that I had selected both for two separate boxes, but I am glad I did it in different sizes to give you a great size comparison. Like a lot of folks during the pandemic, my body has changed a bit (which is a-okay because all bodies are good bodies), but I am never sure what size to get in things these days! The dress did fit me in a size 20, but I prefer the size 22. It was a bit flowier in the arms and just was a smidge comfier. The fabric has limited stretch, but some in the middle. I love the length on this too since it goes down to my knees and keeps my dupa fully covered!

Also, can we take a minute to appreciate how great it looks with this leopard print faux fur coat? I am a sucker for pattern clashing, but I consider polka dots and leopard print to be neutrals! Both go well with essentially any color you pair them with, I tell ya! This dress would also look fantastic in the spring with some pastel flower statement earrings and white Mary Jane style shoes to wear at a socially distanced egg hunt! Add even more spring vibes with pastel fishnets or tights or a cardigan if it is chilly out!

Hilma Hoodie Dress by Merri Skye, Size 2x— Listed Value $59.00, On Sale $45.00

This is the final piece I selected in this month's Dia & Co box. I wanted a piece that I could wear with leggings around the house. I rarely leave my home these days except to go on errands. I wanted the 3x, but it was sadly sold out. The 2x fits, but it is tighter and shorter than I would prefer. I think the 3x would have given me more room and been more comfortable to wear. This fits more like a tunic than a dress on me due to the smaller size. This piece definitely is stretchy, but the material is on the thicker side. Otherwise, this is a wonderful piece to wear in the winter and fall months on walks. Layer this with fleece leggings like the comfy and oh so cozy Molly&Isadora ones I reviewed in my last Dia & Co review-- and you are set!

Kristen Cozy Top by Socialite, Size 2x — Listed Value $34.00

Speaking of comfy and cozy pieces, this one has it in its actual name! It delivers on the warm and toasty and is comfortable to wear. My stylist, Kristin, picked out this one for me. I am not a big fan of the oatmeal color-- I sense she would have sent me the leopard print version of this had it not been sold out. Aesthetics aside, I am willing to overlook my indifference for tan clothing items -- this just feels nice on my skin! It has been a cold winter and I will take all the tops that feel like wearing a blanket on my body that I can get! My only other grievance is I would have preferred a 3x for a baggier look. I know, the queen of tight clothing wants a baggy top. What has the pandemic done to me?

Vienna Cashmere Cardigan by M. Magaschoni, Size 2x — Retail Value $95.00, On Sale $59.00

Okay, now I see why Kristin selected the tan top-- it goes perfectly with this cashmere leopard print cardigan! I am so excited to have a cashmere sweater-- I don't think I owned one till now? It is so incredibly soft and has just enough stretch. This cardigan looks wonderful with the top Kristin selected, but as I mentioned prior-- leopard print is a neutral! This will easily look as amazing styled with a black turtle neck and faux leather mini skirt or with your favorite band-t-shirt, high waist skinny leg jeans, and sneakers. If I were still in an office, this would be my go-to since it was freezing year-round!

Verdict: This month's Dia & Co had some great staple comfort pieces as well as killer dress-up ensembles! I can't wait till we are all fully vaccinated and able to hang-- catch me in that silver jumpsuit dancing away those funky 2020 vibes! I am also so excited about the Betsey Johnson dress; it is such a classic and versatile piece I can wear all year! Kristin definitely brought some great wintertime items to keep me warm too! I have said it before and I will say it again: the best thing Dia & Co started offering was the ability to select three of the five items in their monthly subscription box. Sure, I love what my stylist sends me, especially since we have been working together for some time and she has a gauge on my tastes and preferences, but let's be real here: I love to shop! I love sifting through racks of clothing (or these days' websites) for dream pieces and killer deals! Not only do I get my fix of shopping for myself, but it gives my stylist a sense of my personal style. I also strongly recommend always providing feedback on your style boxes, "hearting" items you like, and sending an updated Pinterest board link to your stylist when you can. It builds a rapport between you and your stylist and creates a visual of your tastes and what trends appeal to you.  Also, Dia & Co not only offers styling box services for clothing, activewear, and now intimate pieces, but you can also purchase items from the site separately! Yes, you can shop and buy items outright from the site without getting the subscription box if that is your preference! The service is so flexible and customizable, what isn't there to love? Plus, it all gets delivered to you safely at your doorstep. No malls, no muss, no fuss! I don't know about yinz, but I am extremely excited to see what I get in next month's box!

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you! Also, take advantage of their option for you to pin pieces and select up to three items for your monthly box as well!

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $356. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $252 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is roughly a 39% discount.
