Though I love the quality and value of these boxes it’s insane the amt of eye creams they give like 8 per year but never more of necessity skincare/makeup like primer or setting spray or sun screen in full sizes especially with a may box you would think it would be a little more geared towards sun protection or oil control and such

Yes Yes Yes, FINALLY I’m excited about a box again! As someone with dry, patchy, flaky skin, this is fits my needs. AND it’s a brand I’ve not tried before. AAAAAND if I like it I can actually afford to go buy more of it. This is the direction Allure needs to keep going in. Two thumbs up for this spoiler.

Now we’re talking! Love CosRx and I have been wanting to try this ampoule.

Just the two items already spoiled make this box great for me 🙂

I just got the Augustinus Bader cream in a box from influenster. I’m not sold on it yet, but I have very dry skin. It’s not bad, but I don’t know if I’d spend $170 on a bottle of it again. Probably great for normal and combo skin. If you’re into trying expensive skincare, it’s not a bad sample.

Cat

I should also say that the cream’s value is just under $40

Gabriella

Can I ask: how do you know the cream is worth $40? I was curious about how big the sample size would be, esp since I hate when samples are too small to use over a period and actually judge whether or not i like it/it works/it broke me out/etc. Like, why am I risking a breakout, or even just a blah skin day if the product I’m testing replaced another I was using that gave good glow, to use a moisturizer for 3 days and end up completely unsure if I like it or not? Lmao anyway… I don’t see the size listed, so I’d love an answer!! $40 worth of luxury cream sounds wonderful to me!

Izzie

I’m curious to try it instead of serum.

T.Marie

I’ve been known to use both actually due to my dry skin. Ampoule first, of course.

Izzie

I’d have loved to try layering ampoule and serum during winter, but, by the time I’ll be able to put my hands on the ampoule , it’ll be already warm here and it might be too much for my skin. But maybe at night…

Jennifer

The spoiler is much more exciting to me than the last. I’m still not sure whether to keep or just cancel, as I’ve been really happy with Fashionsta and their spoilers tend to be consistently good rather than the ping pong of “cool/just ok/meh/really neat/why even??”

I love the CosRx snail mucin all in one cream I recently purchased and have been wanting to try more from them. This is very timely for me!

KCA

Happy about this spoiler. Just bought the CosRx Propolis toner when it was on sale at Ulta recently. These products get great reviews.

Cat

Cool! I hope it’s full sized.

SquirrelyGirl

It says that it is full size up top!

Oh my gosh – I literally JUST bought this serum and absolutely LOVE IT!!! I’m so excited to get another one! I’ve been using it sparingly but now I don’t need to worry about running out – yay! This is a great product. My face is peely and dry from tret and glycolic acid use and this stuff has really helped with the daytime peeling. I’m so psyched! I love this stuff!

Okay, as a real person that I could ask as I was going from reviews online, is it greasy and oily ? because some people had said it sat on their skin and felt greasy so I wasn’t thrilled with the reviews that I read through. I just have no luck with the oil-based products, but maybe you could answer my specific question ? (which is why I love this site because you could go back and forth with questions and opinions and get real time answers) thanks in advance.

Denise

Thanks Shea ! Yeah see this is why asking here is better than google !!

Shea

I love this serum! I just bought my 3rd bottle when Ulta had it on sale! It’s not oily or greasy at all! It’s a very light serum that sinks in quickly but is still hydrating. I have oily skin and I use it in the AM & PM before my moisturizer.

Alice

Every Corsx product I have tried are good and effective.

amy

meh so far, i think skincare just doesn’t excite me much anymore but those do look interesting! Will have to see more before deciding to keep or skip

Reply ButtonReply

Mellissa

Yippee! I’m excited.

A serum brand I haven’t tried that looks like a full size with a RV of $28 and 4.5 out of 5 stars (per ULTA.com). This excites me! I’m also psyched to try the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream but will save it for the fall/winter when my skin really needs extra moisture. I hope the remaining products are decent as well but these two make it worth the $14 and change I’m paying on my year long ‘old price’ subscription.

Reply ButtonReply

Denise

I’m definitely happy about this brand. I would love to see more of these things in allure, but the reviews are mixed on it. it says it’s a little oily and I just can’t deal with these oily serums. they just aren’t right for me. but I love to see this brand just not anymore oil-based things. The akar I would have loved this month but I’m not even opening it because it’s oil so I guess that’s the big thing this year sadly it just doesn’t play well with my face. And I can’t put oil on my chest because it would get on my shirts, so I’ll be passing that one and this one on unfortunately but so far I’d like the way this box is heading this month

Reply ButtonReply

Shea

Denise the cosrx serum is not oily at all! It’s actually really light & sinks in quickly.

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

Hmmm… I’m into both of these. This might be the first box this year I don’t skip!

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

I hope this is full size! If it is that item alone would make this box absolutely worth it to me!

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

Hmmm, ok, ok, looking more like the adventure box I signed up for… Certainly, I haven’t seen propolis ampoules offered elsewhere, and Augustinus Bader just recently landed at Sephora.

Reply ButtonReply

Lucy

Cosrx propolis ampule has been on my “to try” list forever, so glad I will be getting it in the box, hope it’s a full size.

Reply ButtonReply

tammy g.

well, if this box gets better, i may have to join back..

Allure Beauty Box used to be so exciting but now its very bla.

I do love CosRX, especially their cleansers and pimple patches but I’m finding these boxes so uninspiring.

I did sign up as an Annual subscriber when they raised the price last year but I may just cancel my subscription altogether at the end of the period. Wishing it was like it was 2 years ago but maybe that’s just me.

Who remembers the HUDA beauty curated box? I wish they had more boxes curated by skincare and makeup brands to shake things up.

Reply ButtonReply

Jacki

I love the products I’ve had from CosRx!

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

Finally something good. It’s my last box of my annual sub so yay!
