Has anyone heard anything about 2022 bags or 2022 WF Beauty week?

Reply ButtonReply

Vic

Hello per the other website the bags will be available on March 18, 2022

Jill

When I did curbside pickup a few days ago, I thought I saw a sign in the window saying it was Beauty Week. But I didn’t see the dates and haven’t heard anything about a bag.

As of today (Wednesday, 3/17), the Bellingham, MA store still had a bunch of both bags. Like others, I’m surprised they haven’t sold out as in past years. I thought it was interesting that they noticeably don’t contain any makeup items (such as lip gloss or mascara, although there are some repeat lip balms).

If you didn’t score a bag or bags on Friday, it might be worth it to see if they are still in stock at your local Whole Foods. I was surprised to see that my local Whole Foods still had bags available when I went to pick up some items. Either they are not as popular this year or people have other concerns ( don’t blame them).

Warning, you might want to spot test the Acure sheet mask from the purple bag before putting it on your face. My face started burning and turned really red and I had to take it off and wash and calm my irritated skin. Looking through reviews it seems like other users had this issue as well.

I just used the mask tonight and didn’t know about the recall. I have rosacea. My whole face is beet red. It’s terrible! I had to take Benedryl and apply steroid ointment. I read more about the main ingredients and they are all vasodilators, hence the flushing. I’m surprised this passed any testing.

Gloria

Acure issued a statement about the masks in instagram.

Reply ButtonReply

Kate

Similar experience! Although i didnt feel burning but rather warming…. Redness went away after an hour or so. Proceed with caution

wendyM

Oh no! Thanks for the warning. I usually love Acure products, but my skin turns red easily!

The WF on Scholls Ferry in Beaverton, OR had a bunch of both in stock this evening. I was shocked, in past years they were gone in minutes. I was out of town yesterday and figured it wasn’t meant to be. I got one of each, but I prefer the contents in the purple.

Reply ButtonReply

MzBev

I made it over there today and got the purple bag! I love these bags. Anyone in the STL area whose looking – the Town and Country location still had both versions at 2pm. (more blue than purple)

Reply ButtonReply

Trish

I broke down and bought one of each! Both bags were still available at 11am this morning in Arlington, MA.

I don’t NEED anything out of these bags, but for some reason I always WANT them. Lol. Opening them up always feels like Christmas!

Reply ButtonReply

Vee

Every year I see these it makes me wish I lived way closer to a WF. Ugh

I’m in LA country in southern California. The first store I went to at 10am didn’t have them in stock yet. They were expected at noon. I called two others and they too were expected in the afternoon. One was issuing will call tickets to pick up the bags later. I went there and the line was out the door for the numbers. They took my phone number to call me when they came in. They called me a few hours later. They had them bagged for me in a reusable tote bag and they added more samples! There were no bags on display. An employee said they got only 50 per store.

Lana

I really want to want these, but they just didn’t appeal too me. Glad everyone was able to snag one!

Reply ButtonReply

pb

I still have mine from last time! put in a drawer and forgot it was there! hopefully still ok! lol

Reply ButtonReply

bunnygirlbrem

Agree. There are a couple of things in each of the bags I would want, but not enough to get the bags. But I WANT to want them. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

katie

Haha, that is how I feel about them too.

WendyM

5pm in San Rafael CA- my sister snagged 2 for us! Both colors available.

I live many hours away from WF- and I love these bags so much especially with Evan Healy & am dying to try Mad Hippy. My sister in CA is going to try to get one for me tho. 🤞🏼

SheriH

My husband was able to grab the first one for me, the Glow Up Beautiful.. I am tempted to go back and get the other one.

Reply ButtonReply

Allison

I bought one of each with no problems this afternoon in Schererville, IN. They were on display in the beauty section and looked to be fully stocked. The store was pretty busy but no one was in that section getting a bag but me. Last year, I was 5 months pregnant, vacationing in Hawaii with my husband. He went out and hiked then picked up both for me. This was a few days before Covid affected Hawaii’s operations.

Reply ButtonReply

Nat

Got one of each at lunch time from Chamblee, GA store. There were still a lot of bags left. Absolutely love the quality of the bag itself. I went through the self check out which made me wonder, how would anyone know if I took more than one of each. Not that I wanted or needed more than one of each. I probably didn’t even need one of each. Just kind of wondering. So happy I was able to grab them.

Reply ButtonReply

Luisa

I was at the Chamblee store yesterday too, and wondered the same thing about the self checkout! No one was monitoring, so even if the system only allows 2 at a time, you could just do a separate purchase, right? I am happy with the 2 I got, but I did wonder if they were really enforcing the rule at that store.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

I wondered that for a sec too, but at my WF they always have someone there monitoring the self-checkout area (not in an intrusive way, but more like wanting people to know they’re right there and available to assist, if needed).

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan Buckley

Merchant’s Walk in East Cobb doesn’t have self checkout. Oh well. If there are any left tomorrow morning on my usual trip for groceries I will grab one.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

For the 2nd year in a row, me & my mom were the only ones getting the bags shortly after the store opened. We even perused the beauty aisles for about 15 minutes, and no one else came in looking for the bags (like last year too). My WF seems to be generally slow anytime I go in though. They had dozens of bags too (I’d guess at least 100 each) which was really nice to see because I remember the days when each store would only get like 20 bags, and even up until two years ago probably only two dozen were put in a single bin (at a different WF location than the one I’ve shopped at the past two years) and most were gone in 5 minutes. Regardless if they continue to get dozens each year with no one else in my neighborhood trying to get them first thing, I’ll still always be at the store when they open on beauty bag day! 😀 Like someone else said… it’s now become a fun tradition. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

AnninVA

It’s a fun tradition for me too now. For the 3rd year in a row I took my now 6 year old before dropping her off at school. She picked out a toy for herself and her younger brother and sister like she does every year. The toy she wanted for herself was her own set of plastic Easter eggs so she can play Easter bunny in the house.

Reply ButtonReply

Cassandra

Has anyone done a price breakdown of the items? Always fun read. Hopefully there will be a review so i can better understand what each one does. 🙂 lots of products!

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Oooh, I’m tempted to do one, but I already mish-mashed both bags together, and me & my mom traded a few things that we wouldn’t use but the other one would. 🙂 Hopefully, someone will do one soon!

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Lol! 😀 I’m glad to see someone has already taken the time to do the math for us 🙂

Sherri

Although… each bag came with a list of what was included in that particular bag. Just sayin’ Luna. 😉

Tat

What are the Evan Healy sticks supposed to *do*?

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

They’re a moisturizing stick balm that you can use wherever you have dry skin. The directions say you can use it on your face or body. I’m not really a fan of skincare with a stick applicator, plus I think this would be too much for my oily skin, so I just plan on using it like a lip balm as I have with other Evan Healy balm sticks (including the Wild Carrot Eye Balm that came in a prior WF bag). 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel Aker

Yeah, I believe they’re intended for dry patches, but they’re too heavily scented for me (I have super sensitive skin on my face)….I honestly think I may try them for dry patches on my hands or even as a solid perfume on my wrists.

Johanna

Just grabbed one of each in the Los Angeles area, still plenty left on the display shelf. I didn’t think I’d like the pastel bag colors this time but in person they’re lovely. The Mad Hippie serums are half the size of last year’s, .5 oz vs. 1.02 oz last year, which is ok by me because I didn’t even get through the one from last year.

Beauty Bag day 2020 will forever be the Covid-19 marker for me. I hustled to the WF down the street at about 7:10am thinking I’d beat the crowd to get them, to find the store filled with panicked shoppers and hipster moms dumping loads of food into overflowing carts. I just had the two beauty bags and maybe cucumbers or something. Here’s to a better year and enjoy the bags everyone!

Reply ButtonReply

bunnygirlbrem

For me, too! Last time I got food at a serve-yourself place. We saw one person in WF wearing a mask, and we were like, what is she doing here if she is so sick she needs a mask. Then we ate at a restaurant after and talk with our friend, a school administrator, about how there’s no way they’ll shut down school. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Annie S

I remember last year- I went early to get my bags and when I came out there was a long line to get into the store. Inside the store people were just grabbing whatever food they could in a panic (thanks Mom for teaching me to always have a fully stocked pantry!). The bags were around for days at my store last year.

Reply ButtonReply

Snow

Hauled a** to my local whole foods at 1:30 and there were a handful left of each kind. These are always fun and can’t beat the price.

Reply ButtonReply

B

I wish you had posted this yesterday! I totally forgot. I was planning on heading in after work to get corned beef but I’ll go now to see if any left!

Reply ButtonReply

B

There were plenty of both at 4pm at the Cranston, RI location. I passed & just bought the Evan Healy lip balm that was in last year’s bag. They had them away from the rest of Evan Healy and the signage was poor. The lip balm had no sale sign and EH had no indication the sales were stacking – 25% off brand, 25% off beauty & 10% prime = 46% total off.

Reply ButtonReply

Nikii

I bought one of each in san rafael. They almost didn’t let me. I had to argue stating they were two separate bags so they finally let me. One back was missing the alaffia lip balm. But I’m still stoked. Haven’t missed a year yet

Reply ButtonReply

Gloria

This happened to me in Florida as well. I kind of felt bad and maybe ashamed of having to insist that their promo said “Limit 1 of each”. Oh well… not feeling bad nor ashamed now Im seeing how awesome both are. I paused one of the 2 beauty subs I have since my stash is in “overload mode”
Hope you enjoy your bags.

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

Picked both up at the Seattle Roosevelt store around 8:15 this morning and there were plenty but I heard two other people ask about them. I think this is my third or fourth year in a row getting them. Love this tradition! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

KW

I did the same, about ten minutes before you! I was siurprised that they were in bins this year; last year they were on a large table (if I remember correctly). It seems like there weren’t as many available this year (or maybe more people pre-ordered with other beauty aisle item orders).

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

I thought that was surprising, too! At first I was like, WOW they have hardly any this year… but then I saw they had some tucked away on an end cap, too. Still seems like less than last year, though. I am sitting on the couch looking through my bags now. I have way too many products, but it’s still a bright spot after a long year and long winter. Also, hi neighbor! Fun to see another Seattleite on MSA!

Stephanie

No FOMO for me. It’s a excellent price, I just have too much.

Reply ButtonReply

JenJen

Same! I have gotten the WF bags the last two years but I just have too much stuff to use up, so I have to pass this year. These do look like good bags though!
