My Little Mascara Club Review

My Little Mascara Club arrives with an info card that has a quick overview of the products and instructions.

Here's a quick peek at the contents:

The Best Little Mascara Ever: Length + Definition Formula in Luscious Black, 4 ml - Retail Value $15.00 ($12.00 with subscription)

I am beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to try My Little Mascara Club's The Best Little Mascara Ever: Length + Definition Formula in Luscious Black. Their original length and definition mascara is formulated with over 90% natural ingredients and is sweatproof, smudge-proof, smearproof, and long-lasting. I have very sensitive eyes and I can feel my eyes burn a little with some of the harsher mascaras I've tried ... But this applied smoothly, with no clumping and no harsh scent or irritation to my eyes.

I love how full, defined, and striking this mascara makes my lashes. I'm very impressed with this product, and I love how you can set delivery for 30, 45, or 60 days. Let's face it... You're supposed to change your mascara every few months, and I know that I and a majority of mascara lovers out there use the same one for a very long, long, long – YOU SHOULD THROW IT OUT – time.

Here are some before and after shots of The Best Little Mascara Ever: Length + Definition Formula in Luscious Black.

ERASE: Reusable Mascara Remover Wipes, 1 Pair - Retail Value $8.00 ($5.00 with subscription)

I love the idea of reusable makeup removers. Millions of makeup wipes go in the trash every day. These are super fluffy and soft and make saving Mother Earth and staying on a budget feel like a luxury. Whenever I use a makeup wipe, I find myself rubbing harshly on my eye and I always seem to lose a lash or two. With these eraser wipes, all I had to do was gently hold the moistened eraser to my eye for a few seconds before gently wiping away the mascara. It was perfect and definitely ideal for any lash care system. It made removing my mascara a breeze instead of a chore and left behind no weird raccoon-looking smudges under my eyes.

Little Box of Happy Surprise, 1 cookie

Who doesn't love a surprise? This little box is so adorable and looks like a present. When I opened it up, there was an adorable little fortune cookie with a positive inspirational fortune hidden inside. Mine said, "Listen to your heart – it knows your personal path. Live true and real." Just an extra little bonus to brighten your day.

Verdict: I really enjoyed receiving My Little Mascara Club this month. I'm a huge fan of their natural mascara formula and its killer performance. I was able to see a dramatic difference in the fullness and definition of my lashes after applying the mascara, and the curved design of the mascara brush made application easy. The ERASE: Reusable Mascara Remover Wipes worked splendidly. I'm a huge fan and will continue to remove my mascara with them and most likely begin to hoard them. The Little Box of Happy Surprise was just the icing on the cake. This is a practical, useful subscription that I'm going to recommend to all the mascara lovers in my life. With a retail value of $23, you definitely get a deal on your purchase, and I love that you can select the frequency or infrequency with which you'd like to receive your mascara, wipes, and even other accessories.

UPDATEI've been using My Little Mascara Club's The Best Little Mascara Ever: Length + Definition Formula in Luscious Black for two months now, and I've applied the product 28 times and there's still some left. This mascara continues to really make my lashes POP and I've experienced no irritation or sensitivity to the formula.

When I read the title of mascara club, I immediately thought…wait, are they doing April Fool’s early this year?! 🤣

Glad you reviewed it. I don’t think it is for me.

I got that set and was severely underwhelmed.

The mascara was clumpy and did not perform. The remover pads recommended a specific brand (Fresh) which is not included.

And while the fortune cookie is a cute inclusion, mine was tasteless and the fortune was dumb.

Unless you go through buckets of mascara every month and are never home, I cannot recommend.

As soon as I see “Made in China” I’m out.

I don’t see volume. The “before” and “after” photos differ in the tint/color of the lashes. The mascara did not add volume.

This version is not a volumizing mascara. There is a separate formula that is supposed to add volume, but I am not certain if it’s available yet.

Huh? Just last month I received two sample sizes of Lancôme Idole free in the mail just for asking, and last week the new Benefit Magnetic – no sub, just free samples. Not to mention samples of high end mascaras are always available at Sephora either free or for 100 points. Why would anyone pay for mascara samples?

Kat

where are you asking for these free samples? seems like they be a bit stingy with them considering the times

I really appreciate the through review but – wow, this seems really expensive for a sample sized mascara, 2 reusable cotton rounds, and a fortune cookie. I completely agree that people use mascara for way too long, but travel-sized mascaras are abundant in sub boxes and free as GWP often.

Maybe it’s great mascara, but the value really doesn’t seem there for me.

Oh yeah, I agree Jackie, if you receive MANY subscription boxes this may not be the service for you. I always try and review as if I don’t receive the multiple boxes that I do. I think someone who likes their staple products delivered right to their door as they need them would enjoy a subscription like this.

I agree, the value isn’t there. And it’s hard to pay for something oversaturated in other boxes.

This is a really nice review. I like the concept of receiving a new, well performing mascara a set amount of time. Unfortunately I am swimming in mascara. I also like to “cocktail” my mascara and experiment with different formulas and brushes. Hands down, mascara is my most loved (and needed) makeup item with lipstick a super close second.

Mascara “Cocktail” I love it lol! I find that the wand and brush matter the most for me. The formula can be awesome but if the brush isn’t on point I’ll still get goopy clumps or thick tarantula leg lashes.

I’m swimming in mascara too! Even though I dread receiving them in sub boxes it’s been nice trying out all the different brands and tossing them fairly quickly. This mascara looks nice but unfortunately, I don’t use made in China products, especially around my eyes.

Love the review! I tried this as well and found the mascaras to both be really irritating to my eyes. But the wipes are fantastic and the micellar remover is amazing!! My eyes are just stupid-picky.

Yikes! Eyes are super delicate. Oh yeah I was impressed with the wipes! They remove product so throughly.
