MoonBox by Gaia Collective is a quarterly holistic crystal and full moon subscription built to help you greet each season's cosmic activity with sacred self-care and intention. Each box celebrates the quarter by sending high quality and sustainable goods meant to last all season long. Items are sourced from independent artisans and small businesses.

This box was previously a monthly subscription, but it changed to a quarterly curation this fall. They are currently offering limited edition MoonBoxes to purchase as well as this quarterly box option on their website. Sign up today to receive the Spring 2021 box, which ships in March.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Spring 2021 MoonBox “Bloom" Review

Every quarter, MoonBox sends a box guide full of information about the oncoming season including an astro forecast, mantras, rituals as well as information and instructions on how to use each item.

Spring's mantra is "Grow in time with your soul. All good things need patience and space to find their glow." This card explains that spring is the season to nourish your body and soul, just like spring nourishes nature in preparation for summer.

Cosmic Art Tapestry by Natasha Chomko

Every quarter, MoonBox includes an art tapestry by the very talented Natasha Chomko. This print is gorgeous; I can't get enough of this color palette. This print measures 6x9 and would look great as is or framed.

Skinesiology Blossom Auric Mist, 2fl oz - Retail Value $34.00

Skinesiology produces vibrational skincare which they define as taking "vibrational" ingredients, combining them with essential oils which then promote well being and, you guessed it, positive vibes. This spray has a pleasant, subtle smell. When you need a boost, just spritz your body or aura and bask in the bergamot, clary sage, jasmine and neroli fragrance. It is a perfect product for anyone with a sensitive nose that wants just a hint of fragrance with vibrational benefits as well.

Ruby & Bo Plantable Card - Listed Value $4.08

This item combines two things I adore: stationary and flowers. As tempting as it is to keep this card and watch it grow, I may send this to a friend who has been stuck indoors for far too long. Since quarantine started, she's been doing a lot of planting, so this is the perfect 'thinking of you' gift. This card comes with planting instructions as well as a 100% post-consumer waste grey recycled paper envelope. The actual card itself is impregnated with 24 varieties of native British wildflower seeds.

Blue Chalcedony

At first glance, this may look like an everyday rock; but flip it over, and I see blue waters that make me want to dive right in! Blue Chalcedony is a great stone to help navigate the soul. When you need more self understanding, employ the energies of this stone; it will help to increase creative productivity and assist you to be more open-minded.

Mysfit Moon Rose Quartz Bangle - Listed Value $25.00

I wasn't expecting to get such a pretty accessory this month! Rose Quartz is known for drawing love and compassion, and has a complimentary pink hue. The gold metal and soft pink creates a gorgeous contrast, and I love how it all glows in the sunlight. The rough cut of this crystal makes it feel less fancy and gives off more of a bohemian vibe which is on brand for me. The band was stiff to adjust but doable. I was afraid of moving it too much; when it shifts you can feel the rock move and grind against the metal, but I managed to get it to a workable width. I am really happy with the quality of this bracelet, and I can't wait to wear it out!

The Lamare Nourish Daily Notepad - Retail Value $13.95

If you're looking for a to-do list to help take care of the daily grind and your own wellbeing, here is a great start! We always hold ourselves accountable for getting everything done around the house, for work, etc., but where is the accountability for our own contentment? It is easy to put ourselves last, but if wearing a face mask and watching TikTok for 40 minutes is on the to-do list, it must be done! This notepad has fifty sheets and measures 8.25 x 5.75 inches. It has the days of the week at the top, and different sections marked as "Self Care," "To-Do," and so on. This notepad is inspiring, and I hope it will help to balance a little more me-time in with a chaotic schedule.

The Verdict: MoonBox's Spring Box was a breath of fresh air; the soft and bright colors have me longing for spring. This is another great box with a meaningful balance of self-care, home goods and crystals. I love how each item comes from a small, ethical business that I can feel good about supporting. MoonBox sent out six items this month, but they also provide an awesome and thoughtful guide full of mantras and rituals that serve as a seasonal guide. It also includes short passages about the astrological signs of spring, which is super interesting to read. I didn't include it in the pricing information below, but I wanted to acknowledge that I consider it a valuable part of this subscription. This subscription is a treat yo'self box for me every quarter, and I always enjoy the premium products sent out.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. If you sign up today, you will receive the Summer 2021 Quarterly Box.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

Thank you for the lovely review Abby! I am usually more of a lurker, but you are one of my favorite reviewers. This curation is well-rounded. Too bad they’re sold out, or else I would have loved to subscribe. I usually feel this way about this box, heh. But $54.95 is too much of a gamble for me without spoilers or a review. That tapestry is stunning.
