Martha – this site is an independent website regarding subscription boxes generally; they do not own, control, or otherwise have anything to do with JourneeBox operations. You would be best served by contacting Kevia Style, the company that offers JourneeBox, directly. Their email is: [email protected]. HTH.

I’m so excited for the Japanese box, but I haven’t heard anything, and I haven’t been charged. Is there any news at all?

This is such a great box!

Are we ever going to get spoilers for the Kyoto box? Please keep on trucking, Journeebox!

Diana

And now the wait for the Kyoto box 😉

Alainna

After a long wait I got the confirmation my box was delivered… only they delivered it to an address across Lake Erie in Canada! Don’t know how it happened – my address was correct on the confirmation order. I reached out the costumer service rep Leo and he has been helpful but I’m still disappointed with all the delays and errors! I’m anxious to receive the box at this point because I’m still excited for the items! Here hoping these kinks are worked out for the next round of boxes.

I am disappointed in the soap replacement after such a wait. Kevia should have let us known there could be substitutions. Wjy does it seem like reviewers and new subscribers got the better soap? I don’t think I will renew my subscription.

My box arrived today (4/6), but I’m pretty sure I didn’t get the soap that was supposed to be in the box. I received a very small bar of paper-wrapped soap, about 1.5″ square by 1″ thick. It says “Via Mercato Primavera Shea Butter Soap” and it’s made in Italy. There is no reference to it being cold-pressed, or to being of any of the scents shown in the digital booklet, and the ingredient list doesn’t match those in the digital booklet at all. Did anyone else get this? Am I wrong and it really is one of the soaps that was supposed to be included?

Reply ButtonReply

Mary L.

I received the same thing. Seems like a nice (but small!) bar of soap, but the ingredient list definitely doesn’t look all-natural!

Wow! Got my first box today and I love it. I had the MSA bonus and the annual subscriber bonus so my box was packed — so many wonderful things.

One of the necklaces from the MSA bundle isn’t really my style (though I may just be trying to wear it wrong!), but otherwise I think I’ll hang on to and use everything, which I think is a first for me with subscription boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

What is the MSA bonus? How do you get it?

Reply ButtonReply

Paige

Hi everyone. Like a lot of you, I LOVE THIS BOX. I love everything in it. But there is currently something that is making me want to pull my hair out: how in the world do you open the soap dispenser to add the soap????? I’ve spent at least 45 minutes to try and make this happen. If no one else can share with me – @Leo can you let me know? There was no information in the box the dispenser was in. Thank you!

Reply ButtonReply

Alli

Just pull it up at the gold rim part – it’s got an airtight seal thingy. I’m glad it’s designed like this since I didn’t really need a soap dispenser (I use bar hand soap). But it’ll be a great planter!

Laura

I finally got my basket today and it is so messed up! 😞. They sent me the wrong basket, only one earring, and they didn’t include the annual extra. Ugh. They did include some earrings I ordered in December, but only two of them vs the three I ordered. I am so bummed

Reply ButtonReply

Marcia

Definitely email them and I’m sure they will try to help you. I’ve been contacted by their new rep, Leo – and once by Kevia herself – and found them very willing to resolve things.

Good luck.

Carol

Got mine today and all waiting aside, this exceeds expectations and delights as all their boxes do! Superlatives!!!!

I got my box today and I am not mad that they went digital however I am upset that they did not include any prices on the digital website…..I know there are a lot of us out there that want to know what the price is of these items…..I did send them a message for the prices, when they reply back I will let you all know the prices of everything.

So my box finally came today, yay! I’m an annual, after taking a break, partly for financial Covid reasons, and as is their usual, the annuals get an extra bonus item. Mine was a lovely black knit throw that can double as a shawl and an extra jewelry item. Usually you know what the extras are or get an idea, but this time I had no clue. Everything came nicely packaged and was top notch quality. My favorite items are the colander and basket. I actually hope they do more items in the future with that compostable wheat material, it’s amazing and feels just like plastic!

Reply ButtonReply

Mary L.

Did you just sign up with a code? I’m annual too but didn’t get a throw. I wonder if it’s something for new subscribers.

Reply ButtonReply

Priscilla

The extra item for all annual subscribers was a necklace available in the same styles as the earrings. You can actually see it on this page listed as one of the spoilers. However, over Black Friday they did have deals for subscriptions that came with extra gifts/items. At least one of the deals had a black throw/shawl and extra jewelry.

SquirrelyGirl

I got my box on Thursday and I love it. Everything is high quality. Personally, I would rather wait extra time for a company who gets the items right. I’m sure they could have had cheaper options made quicker for them, but I am really glad they didn’t. My favorite thing is the grass basket. It’s really beautiful. I am using it to hold my extra yoga mat and accessories. The soap smells lovely and is really beautiful to look at. My boyfriend already filled the hand soap dispenser with his favorite eucalyptus hand soap (the color of the green is more accurate to the bottom 2 pictures vs the brighter top pic). I can actually wear the earrings since they are sterling silver (allergies) and the colander, soap sponges (I love Swedish sponges and these ones are so cute!) and tote are all very useful. Worth the wait!!! I am grateful to be receiving this box. The attention to detail is amazing and it’s such a bright spot in my day to open. As long as my budget allows, I will be renewing my annual.

Jean

I received my box this week too! I agree it was worth the wait. And boy was there a wait. My favorite items are the grass basket and the colander, but I am happy with pretty much everything. I had planned to gift the jewelry all along, and at least it arrived in time for the recipient’s birthday! I splurged on an annual back in November and I am looking forward to the Kyoto box.

Kristin, I’m annual as well and nothing shipped yet.

Kristin

Are you annuals? I am and still no shipping notification.

I’ll ask it again @Leo:

I just got my box today and LOVE it! Only problem is my soap dispenser has a large crack down the entire side and it’s cracked in 2 places. Can I get a replacement?

SquirrelyGirl

No. There are very rarely coupons for JourneeBox

I received my box yesterday and I loved almost everything in it. I originally discovered swedish dishcloths through Grove I don’t know how I’ve gone so long without knowing about them so I was really happy to have more. The basket very large and is nice though I wouldn’t put anything very heavy in it. I think it’s mostly decorative. The soap dispenser matches my bathroom so it’s also perfect. The only thing I don’t really care for is the necklace so I’ll be putting that up for swap. I have to say that I was really dismayed to find out we didn’t get one of their gorgeous keepsake boxes this time. I hope they go back to those as it’s definitely another reason I keep the sub. I will be very sad if they discontinue those.

I’ve been a subscriber mostly since the beginning and every box has been a joy to open even if everything wasn’t quite my style. (lookin at you Grand Canyon) I have annual subscription right now and plan to renew in spite of the shipping problems they’ve had this year. I’ve always found the curation and quality to be top notch. I’m really hoping things get back on track to where they used to be.

Phung

My box came today ! It was like Christmas. Nicely packaged and smelled really nice. If my room wasn’t cluttered, would renew my annual.

Jane Grey

I just got an email that the boxes are ready to ship – not that they have been shipped. Has anyone gotten a box???

Reply ButtonReply

Jane Grey

I’m at the “I’ll believe it when I see it” point.

Reply ButtonReply

Alisa

Same, I’ll believe it when I actually receive a box…

SquirrelyGirl

Yes, my box arrived on Thursday.

Reply ButtonReply

Carol

Rejoice! It has shipped; can’t wait!

Reply ButtonReply

Marika

I got a shipping notice for my Zero Waste Box!

Reply ButtonReply

Diana

This box is indeed amazing, but again it’s been 10 days since the last email with no updates about shipping dates, times, apologies, or the next box.

What are you all thinking? I love the curation and the quality of the items, but at this point I’m feeling a bit gaslit about how their ship dates are “almost here”. Who knows. At this point to be 2 months behind with nothing for the customer is pretty wild.

Hello Diana,

We sincerely apologize for the delay. Rest assured we have already started shipping out the Zero waste boxes. Please bear with us because due to the high volume of orders and given we are a small company, some might receive their order later than the others.

For any questions and concerns, you can reach me at [email protected].

Once again we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Same. In 8 days it will be THREE months since I paid. Several unmet promises. Most recent in March – only 12 days left to make good on that promise. No communication or updates. Very disappointed.

Would you get this box if you sign up today? It’s not at all clear from this post, and the number of comments indicating that two further boxes have been announced following this one makes me wonder.

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia

I just checked their site and new members can start with either the Zero Waste box that ships April 2021 OR the Kyoto box that ships June 2021.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

Thanks!

It’s been zero box for months…

Reply ButtonReply

Amy G.

I snorted. 😂
When Causebox is looking speedy by comparison, you know things are off the rails.

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

I found the delays frustrating too, but I’m sticking with them. Unlike other lifestyle subscription boxes, Kevia picks unique and beautiful items. This is currently my only subscription as the others are repetitive and rather boring on repeat. Causebox and FFF are shadows of what they once offered.
I’d rather wait for quality items.

This will be my first box and I am looking forward to it! The soap dispenser is what I’m most looking forward to. I am obsessed with Moon Valley foaming herbal soap, and I buy their refills. This dispenser is perfect for my kitchen.
