I love Margot Elena and I get the sub, but a 14% sale is a littttttle hard to get excited over, lol. It’s the one sub box I can’t give up when reshuffling/trying new things, though! I do end up with a lot of extra product to get through, but her stuff is so easy to regift I can pass things on, and actually treat the sub as partially paid out of my “gifts for people” budget since it probably saves me about $150 a year on gift buying!

There is always so much personal care put into the boxes as well, with the packaging and custom items just for the box.

Well said! ME was my first sub box and has set such a high standard for me that I’m not sure if any other box can ever be as good to me. I not only enjoy many of the sub box items but have also bought a significant amount from their website. My one and only complaint is that most of their fragrances have NO staying power. At all. Whenever I wear Song of the Siren or (Heart) and Soul (both of which I received in sub boxes and absolutely love), I literally douse myself in it and it still fades within twenty minutes. It doesn’t even linger on clothing that I’ve drenched with it. But I will say that the Library Of Flowers perfume cremes have excellent staying power. Those are the M.E. best buy to me, and I wish they’d make creme versions of all of their scents, including the Tokyo Milk line. I’d buy every single one, and I’d shout their praises from the highest mountain.

Sadly I cancelled after the huge price increase. $66 is just too much for a subscription box. I’ll miss the packaging more than the items though. They’d send square soap that’s honestly quite useless, and some scents are very “old lady” smelling. But the packaging was spectacular!

It’s funny I do hear a lot of people complain about the bar soap. I guess I’m one of the few who love it and use it. I still keep a bar in my shower and bath next to my bubble bath and body wash. And next to my sink in my bathroom and I also use it to clean make up brushes LOL. Just a thought, if you truly hate it and never use it, bar soaps naturally repel insects so it might be helpful to keep shavings of it around the house in the spring and summer?
But this 14% off deal doesn’t seem like anything exciting since they just had their 20% off sale around Christmas time LOL.

Hi Chantel, I too was unhappy with the price increase. For me, since it’s a quarterly box, I just looked at how much more per month I would be spending and I guess by breaking it down to that smaller amount I justified it in my mind. And the fabulous packaging you mention is hard to beat!
