  2. This box is super cute! The Glossybox customer reviews on this site are terrible, though.

    Anyone actually happy with this company?

    • Their Limited Edition, Holiday, and Black Friday boxes and deals are better than the monthly boxes IMO. I’m at the end of a 3-month sub which I got on a special deal that came with the Holiday box for just $6 more. I’m pretty happy with those monthly boxes but I plan to cancel- because I’m on total product overload. I could not get another box for a year, from any sub, and I still wouldn’t be through all my “inventory.” I just have to take a break. After my February boxes. 😬

      • LOL I hear ya! I have a cabinet full of products that I seriously need to go through 😁. Although if I ever see a Sunday Riley or any other skincare favorite for a deal I still like to stock up! And I totally agree that their “special” boxes are better than their monthly.

    • I never received my April box – they admitted it had never been sent out, even though my account was marked “shipped.” After many, many back and forths with CS where they were insisting I’f cancelled the same day I signed up (I hadn’t, had cancelled weeks later when my box never arrived, finally had to send them Paypal proof since they wouldn’t trust my own account screenshots!) and *finally* being promised a refund, it’s been crickets. It’s been over a month and the refund hasn’t appeared, and I’ve wasted way too much time on letters back and forth at this point.

      As for the box itself, they are generally cute and well curated. I’ve gotten a lot of their discount boxes/limited addition/black Friday ones over the years, and still might grab some of those in the future. But I would never sub to them again at this point until they get MUCH better CS and don’t mark boxes shipped when they haven’t been sent.

      • @Jennifer you can fold a dispute with PayPal and get your money back that way. I have used it twice when things have not arrived.

        I hope you do manage to get a refund in the end! For future reference, for cases like these, you can file a complaint via PayPal and they will step in for the refund. I think it may be too late now as your transaction was in April, but it’s good to know

    • I subscribed for 6 months when there was a really good promo offered. I was pretty “meh” with the sub (packaging is top notch, contents not so much), but overall I was good with it for the discounted price I paid. But for me personally, it’s not a sub for which I’d pay their full price. So when my 6 month sub was winding down, I followed all their requirements to a tee to not have the sub renew at the end of the 6 months, but they still renewed it and charged my card. I won’t go into all the details (it would take forever), but it was an absolute and complete nightmare to get refunded for the charge they never should have made in the first place – I had to contest the charge through my bank and it was still a whole thing that took months and months to finally resolve. With that said, their limited edition/special boxes are usually quite good, and I’ve always been happy with those.

    • I’ve never had a problem with them, either re-subscribing or cancelling.

    • I’m having a nightmare getting them to stop charging the wrong credit card account for my box even though I deleted said card number, info, etc. months ago. At one point they sent me directions on how to add payment methods. !!!
      It’s just really frustrating. This might be the end of the Glossy road for me. Too many problems. But I’m definitely getting the Feb box – they took the money from that account again!

      • Same here. I cancelled two months ago and deleted my credit card on file. I have cancellation email and still getting charged to card I deleted.

    • I love Glossybox. I subscribed for years. The products are incredible, a better version of Allure’s box but maybe not as good as BeautyTube (which I love). This is the thing about Glossybox, their customer service sucks. Like, bad. Like, nonexistent. As long as your box arrives and everything is perfect, you’ll will be ultra happy. The second you have a problem you are looped into CS hell. I suspect they outsource everything and have no real customer service.

  3. I want to resubscribe just for the box, its adorable. Contents are okay but I don’t need/want any of them (so they aren’t worth the $16 to me) so I’ll probably pass

  4. I will use all the contents which nowadays is more useful to me than a huge product I already have too much of, so I’m happy.
