I subscribed for the year, as a birthday gift to my-self. At 75 I thought I’d like to see what a $400 hat & $388 earrings were like.

We are not impressed!

The brim of the hat is wavy. The stoppers on the earrings are worse than those on cheap, cheap earrings. The strap of the little “vegan” plastic handbag is to heavy.

Yes I’m picky.

I have worked in fashion retail & know about mark-up but this is just silly, plated earrings $388? Really? I checked out Vita Fede, didn’t see these, but the prices are in the range, way over priced for the designs & material.

So, would I recommend this subscription service to any one else? No.

Oh, the shipping status is also a joke, not funny, “shipped on the 4th (not), received until 17th (UPS didn’t get package until 13th).

Shipping all messed up AGAIN. They lie and say it has shipped on 03/03 and only a label created as of 3/12. Not worth the aggravation. Been a customer 2 years and they jerk me around on the truth about the shipping EVERY box. Sick of then getting the box and being so disappointed. Customer service clueless here and nasty. They have no respect for anyone, most of all their long term customers.

She could have gone in a different direction and included pretty tie-dye sweatshirts. Everyone would’ve gotten some use out of that. She could have figured out a way to make them luxe. There is just no creativity in this box.

Pretending the hat has a 400$ value and the purse is plastic. So many ZC staff members commenting on a positive note. This is just ridiculous. Go get your face oils at Marshall’s or TJMax and a real leather purse. This is laughable.

I am very excited to get the hat! Even (true) Panama hats can be quite pricy. This is a “luxe” item to me that I ordinarily would not buy for myself. The hat alone makes the box worth it to me. Already planning my outfits for the hat!

Love the earrings also, but agree with the reader about making wearing a mask difficult.

Bag is cute, but prefer the duffel we got a few boxes ago. I never buy purses for myself, so is fun to get a new one in a box.

Never met a serum that I didn’t like, so happy to try this one as Rachel’s box tends to have higher quality beauty products.

Highlighter? The last one we got from Curateur is my favorite (over about 10 others I own), so hoping to love this one also.

The size for Lynn Hat- interior diameter fits up to size 23″, 4.25” crown; 3.25” brim and adjustable interior sweatband.

I think I can definitely enjoy these items. They should have Valentine’s day sale 40% off with bonus free gift.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I have had enough with HIGHLIGHTERS- drops, powders ect.,

Highlighters, they have turned into the black eyeliner of subscription boxes!

My ears aren’t pierced so I wish they can have clip on version or make the earrings the choice item.

I really like this box but I wish the rings came in different sizes. 7.5 is too big for me and I probably won’t order if I can’t use all of the items!

I like the bag! Wish the body was canvas though. I like the adjustable earrings too. I can’t wait to see some reviews of the hat! I’m curious what size the inner band expands to.

This one is a definite pass for me. I really hoped this curation would have more of a seasonal spring vibe.

The 2020 winter box was my first box, and I loved everything included, so I was really looking forward to this spring box, but it is a big miss for me. I might use the serum and the powder, but I already have enough skincare and makeup products, and I’m not super excited about these. The purse, earrings, and hat are all ugly and cheap-looking to me. I don’t think I would buy this box even at 40-50% off.

I like the vegan purse but why is the strap so long?? It looks heavy and awkward. Even the model in the video can’t ignore it.

The reveal has left me with more questions than answers. Anyone else notice that the picture of the earrings shown here don’t match what is shown on the website? I’d also like to know whether they are gold plated or just gold colored. Hopefully they add more photos so we can see the items on models to at least get an idea of scale and how they look.

I love everything in this box, can’t wait to get it! Yeah, retail values are inflated, no the bag is not leather. For $99 I still think it’s a great value and fun treat for myself.

I have to agree with everyone $388 for earrings that are gold plated. The ring is nice but really only one size . I wish there was an option for gold or silver jewelry. And must to be a serum in every box And another purse . The hat is cute but really a retail value of $400 . Let’s hope the summer box brings options and exciting items .

A summer hat made of felt doesn’t make sense here in the Deep South. I wonder if the hat could be dyed a darker color?

I’m curious for peoples thoughts on the hat vs the ring? Putting aside the ridiculously inflated RV for the items.
I love rings & im about a 7 & I would hope wearing them all together would work but the hat looks like a fun option also! I’m also not sure if the white hat would just wash me out due to having a super fair complexion… Curious if the hat is good quality & worth considering as my choice item?!

I absolutely love this box. The hat is one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve seen in a sub box for a long time. Such a luxe piece in my humble opinion 🙂

Coming from someone with well over 20 years in the skincare industry: oils are not serums. The new trend of calling a mix of different oils a serum does not make them serums. I get it, the bottle says serum on it, but the ingredients are all oils.

Just like with every one of these boxes: “vegan leather” is still PLEATHER, made from petroleum, which oddly enough is made from millions of year old dead decomposed animals…. so we’ve come full circle, therefore is anything really vegan?!

A felt hat, made from wool, (countermeasure to the “vegan leather”?) , and steel jewelry colored gold…… enough was said about those items in this thread already.
Sigh……

the only thing im interested in is the jewelry, tho i’m leery as the last ring i got from them (the luv AJ ring) literally broke in half after wearing it for an hr.
