Anybody gotten theirs? Mine hasn’t shipped yet.

I’m so torn. I love some of the Zoya oranges, and have easily found 6 polishes I like, but I love most of the Black Dahlia greens. Zoya only has one green I like (“Apple.”) Zoya let’s you hand pick the six, and Black Dahlia let’s you leave notes. Zoya comes with extra mystery items and us $50, whereas the small 7-item set from Black Dahlia is $35.

Which should I get?! It does seem like Zoya has a better deal with the mystery bag, and picking my polishes is cool..but Black Dahlia has some amazing greens and holos which I can’t find similar from Zoya. The awesome oranges might make up for that, though.

If only I could justify dumping $85 on nail polish right now, I’d get both sets.

I am leaning more towards the Black Dahlia now!!! I seriously want to go all out and get the $80 lol. Should I tho? I don’t know!! They have an Afterpay option I swear I buy extra stuff just because of Afterpay lol.

Haha! I’ve so far avoided the temptation of After-pay, as I’m sure once I start I’d be buying all sorts of things!

I think I’ll wait on the Zoya for now – maybe they’ll throw up more spoilers on Facebook, and they seem to have mystery deals every so often, and go with the Black Dahlia 14+ item middle bag. I think I’m more likely to get mostly polishes (plus maybe base/top + cuticle oil) vs. things like polish remover, pre-set colors that might not be my taste, lipstick, who knows what in the Zoya 9-item mystery bag. Sometimes having nothing I dislike is more important than picking out a few things that are exactly what I want but ending up with a bunch of hi/miss stuff. 🙂

And with Black Dahlia, you can tell them if you don’t (or do) want top/base, oils, specific colors, etc. 🙂

I had never heard of Black Dahlia nailpolish.
What do you mean lets you leave notes?

Also have you tried Holo Taco nailpolish? If so is it similar to Black Dahlia?

MSA advertised the Black Dahlia mystery boxes recently, you should be able to search or scroll to find it.

I think it’s 7 items for $35, 14 for $55, or 20 for $80? Their main things are polishes and cuticle oils.

While you don’t get to pick some of the polishes as with the Zoya deal, you can leave notes on shades or finishes you like or dislike, favorite oil scents, products you don’t want, etc.

In addition to the colors on their website, they have more shades on their Etsy site as well (where they have tons of rave reviews!) They also might put limited edition or un-released shades in the bag.

I’m not sure whether to get one of the Black Dahlia bags or the Zoya! After stalking through the Black Dahlia reviews on Etsy, I’m leaning towards the middle $55 box.

I don’t think that’s correct, when you go to purchase this bag there’s no option to add 6 polishes of your choice. I think the mystery bag is the 6 polishes they choose. There is no way to customize before checkout.

I just bought this. You add the mystery bag itself to your cart, then add any six polishes. It will automatically lower the price of the polishes to zero in your cart.

I have gotten Zoya’s Mystery Boxes in the past. They are magnificent. The polish is vegan and made in America. Zoya is a piano player and wanted to create a safe nail polish that didn’t chip. I love the formula. So many different finishes and colors to choose.

It might only be 3 mystery items, actually? The description is unclear. But they’d still need to total $90 in value.

A comment above stated that you’ll receive 6 polishes and 9 mystery items. I just want to clarify for anyone of interest that it seems from reading the listing the 6 polishes of your choice will be counted as 6 of the 9 items, so you’ll receive 3 mystery items on top of the 6 polishes that you choose totaling 9 items.

I just don’t want anyone to order this thinking you’ll be receiving 15 items instead of 9.
