When you sign up for this subscription, they allow you to choose from ring sizes 6, 7, and 8. I wear an 8 on my ring finger and this little beauty was a little tight, but that is likely because it is a thicker ring. I actually have been on the hunt for a vintage gold or sterling chain-style ring very much like this, so this will be a great alternative while I wait for that perfect vintage piece to cross my path! It has a decent weight to it and the gold finish is spot-on for 18k (more on that below).

And here it is compared to an antique (1896!) solid 18k gold ring I own. I know gold plating can be a little hit or miss if you are someone who loves this metal. And if it is too yellow? Meh. But this is actually a lovely gold plating job that looks great!
Verdict: This month's Cali Tiger piece is a great start to this subscription for me. I already love this style of ring and the quality was pretty nice! This feels a lot like my Emma & Chloé subscription in terms of price and what you actually get, but the vibe of Cali Tiger in terms of styling is different in that it feels a little more trendy, but in a classic way, whereas E&C feels a little artsier. While I don't know if this ring would be something I would pay $55 for, I could see myself paying this subscription cost, no problem.
