I almost always let them choose for me and I get great boxes, with a lot of skincare like they know I prefer. They even try to send me neutral palettes, when they can.

Is there a way to cancel the regular and only keep the premium and luxe? I tried it but it looked like it was going to cancel my whole account.

You can totally cancel base and keep premium as I have been this way for months. However, you can not cancel base and keep Luxe. If you tried to cancel and restart as you wanted, I think you’d either end up with a luxe box where you didn’t subscribe in time to have any choice products or you’d end up having to still subscribe for at least one base box, possibly 2 in order to be active for luxe choice time – which is essentially staying subscribed but not getting choice on the base box 🙁

For me, personally I have just stuck with premium and bought the real products I have wanted in base as add ons (recently both farmacy products and the violet Voss olive palette). Not all premium boxes are the greatest and I’m sad boxy has reeled in the spoilers as the pandemic has gone on, but I know I would also have to resubsribe to the base box if I ever canceled premium. Depending on how you’re feeling about everything, whether it’s product overload, too much money spent, etc maybe this way would be ideal for you too. Keeping premium and just buying the other products as add ons. I will say the base box has seemed to have some of the better products compared to premium, but my last premium was really really good and I tend to get versions 1 or 2. My January box had Fenty powder, Fenty mascara, summer Friday’s mask, REN cleanser, ofra palette, and PMD cloth. I think that is the absolute best combo of products I could have received from what was offered – a huge change for me as I used to get the filler items that nobody wanted. It’s been like this for a while and I don’t know if I’m lucky or being rewarded for not canceling regularly.

I still don’t understand boxycharm Premium (I’m sorry!). I have been a boxycharm base subscriber for a while, but I guess my question is…if I sign up to be a premium right now (1/19), will I get charged today and sent January’s premium box?
I ask because I don’t really want January’s, but I DO want February’s. So, should I wait to sign up for premium until 2/1? Why don’t I get how it works?! 😖

If u were to sign up today, they’ll put u on a “waiting list” and probably email u tomorrow that u got off the list and charge u for January. Unless there really are a lot of people waiting, I don’t think so though.. I also want February so I’m gonna wait till February to get on the list and hope for the best. If u don’t want to risk missing February u should sign up now.

I just want to say that while what Yolanda said is true, it will not let you be subscribed early enough to make any choice for products in February, that has already passed. So if you’re okay with any of the choice items, subscribe during February.

I tried that before, choosing the cheapest item, and didnt work out for me. Hope it works for you.

I picked the mascara hoping that if I pick the cheapest choice, maybe I’ll get more high value non-choice products in my box. Fingers crossed it works lol because the lord only knows I don’t need another black mascara

Will everyone get a Huda Palette?

I would love the mint one. I already own the Rose one so that’s probably what will be in my box.

I don’t understand my obsession with Huda palettes: They aren’t undeniably gorgeous (like LMDB); they aren’t stellar quality (think Violet Voss); they aren’t even particularly nuanced (I consider Illamasqua to be kind of quirky at times, and I love this brand). Having said all of that, I want ALL of these. Heck! I know that I’ll even try whatever palette I get – which is saying something, as I rarely wear makeup these days. I’m very excited by this spoiler!

I agree, lol. Huda palettes are gorgeous but don’t perform particularly well for me (especially the shimmers)… but I still want them all!
