Beauty Favorites

We know you love our monthly favorites posts so here’s our monthly post highlighting our favorite BEAUTY discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite skincare, green beauty, and makeup items from the past month:

Megan’s Favorite:

The Item: Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil

The Cost: $68.00

From: The Detox Box

Why I love it: One of my favorite activities is slathering my dry face in nourishing facial oils and this one is a dream! From the delightful scents to the hydrating blend of oils, this was a cold-weather skin treat!

Abby’s Favorite:

The Item: Little Moon Essentials Bath Salts in Peaceful Forest

The Cost: $5.50

From: Kinder Beauty Box

COUPON: Use code MSA5 to get $5 off your subscription!

Why I love it: I love winding down at night in a warm, relaxing bath. Bath salts totally enhance spa night, and these definitely took my bath to the next level. I am used to fruity and sugary bath products, but I am over the moon for this woodsy scent; it is perfect for this time of year!

Ragan’s Favorite:

The Item: Aster Tightening and Lifting Neck Serum (0.5 fl oz)

The Cost: $34.99

From: Vegancuts Beauty Box

COUPON: Use code MSA to save $5 off your first box!

Why I love it: This is a type of product that I haven’t received in a subscription box before and also something I just don’t have an excess of in my collection from GWPs, etc.  So it’s something I can use that doesn’t disrupt my routine. As I get older I do start to think about sagging in the neck area and while I don’t have a problem with it just yet, it’s nice to think I could be doing some prevention in the meantime.  I can’t say I’ve seen many effects yet but it’s supposed to promote collagen synthesis and I would think that can take some time. It also doesn’t irritate my skin, which is great as I’ve been kind of sensitive lately.

Brandi’s Favorite:

The Item: Wicked Good “White Pumpkin Chai” Perfume Oil Roller, 10mL

The Cost: Listed Value $18.00

From: Wicked Good Perfume

COUPON: Use code MSA15 to save 15% off your first month.

Why I love it: This scent is so good that I could not get enough of it! It’s definitely one of my most favorite scents that I have received from this sub so far. The scent is a blend of sweet potatoes, white pumpkin, chai tea, pecans, vanilla, and melted butter. The scent is luscious, warm, and perfectly cozy for a fall/winter fragrance. I think it is just really well-balanced with the right amount of sweetness and spice from the chai and vanilla. The sweet potatoes and pumpkin give it a great fall vibe and I think I can get that little hint of pecan on the nose, too!

Naomi’s Favorite:

111 Skin Y Theorem Day Cream NAC Y2 Front for Ipsy Glam Bag November 2020

The Item: 111SKIN Y Theorem Day Cream NAC Y²

The Cost: Estimated Value $63.00 (Buy a full-size 50 mL for $210.00)

From: Ipsy Glam Bag

Why I love it: I love 111SKIN! It is seriously serious skincare. I’ve personally seen visible results with every single product I’ve tried. This 111SKIN Theorem Day Cream NAC Y² is super featherlight, immediately absorbs into my skin, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, glowing, and buoyant. Is the price point CRAZY high? Absolutely. Is it worth it? For me, yes, I’m trying to look like Angela freaking Bassett in my 60s.
