Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. When you sign up, you take an in-depth survey of your sizes, style, and pricing preferences. After choosing when you'd like to receive your delivery, your stylist handpicks 5 items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different!

FYI, COVID-19 Updates: To learn more about Stitch Fix's extended return window, any potential fulfillment delays, and more, read all of their service-related updates here.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this Fix. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we conduct reviews).

Stitch Fix for Women December 2020 Review

I received this card at the top of my box highlighting their gift cards.

This is my invoice, which provides specifics on the brand, size, and price of each item. They also give instructions at the bottom for how to check out and either purchase or return your items. My total came to $206.00, but with the 25% discount (which they take off BEFORE deducting the $20!) and the $20 credit (which you lose if you don't keep anything), my total drops down to $134.50. That’s a savings of $71.50 on these items.

Stitch Fix also includes a prepaid USPS envelope for you to send back any returns or exchanges which makes it so easy and hassle-free!

Your stylist will also include a style sheet with some tips on how to wear the pieces in your Fix. I didn't ask for anything specific this month, so let's see what my stylist sent!

Andrina Two Pocket Textured Cardigan by Redy, Size M - Cost to Keep $44.00

First up, we have this nice cardigan. It is really very pretty and almost has a shine to it with this great textured knit. It's a great staple piece, very simple and cute! I like the length of it and the split sides which let you really wrap it around you. And of course, it has pockets which is always a bonus!

Gloria Hacci Button Detail Knit Top by Market & Spruce, Size M - Cost to Keep $38.00

Stripes are kind of my thing and this top suits my style well with the long length and great colors. It's one of those cute and cozy tops that you can wear any time, plus it is SO soft! I like the button detail at the top, too, even though it's very subtle. This was comfortable and stretchy!

Mia Back Detail Pullover by Love Ellie, Size M - Cost to Keep $46.00

This sweater is a beautiful deep green color that I absolutely love! While I really like the color, I'm not crazy about v-necks, although this one isn't bad. This is kind of a mullet sweater - business in the front, party in the back with that great criss-cross section. It's an unexpected, yet fun detail.

Helina Mixed Material Blouse by Fortune + Ivy, Size M - Cost to Keep $40.00

This top is another great staple piece. The front is a more flowy, dressy material while the back is this soft, stretchy knit. It's another high v-neck top, but with cute button details at the top. I like that this blouse can be worn casually or you could definitely dress it up with a skirt or dress pants for work if you needed to.

Reid 3/4 Sleeve Knit Top by Jolie, Size M - Cost to Keep $38.00

I did not expect to like this top, especially when I saw how narrow the waist was, but it's actually really flattering on and I love the color. It's a shade of brown that you don't often see. The tight waist actually allows the top part to fit looser so that it doesn't hug your stomach as some tops do. I think this is one that would be fun to dress up with some jewelry!

The Verdict:  My stylist did a great job with this Fix! All of the pieces were comfortable and suited my style well. I also thought it was a good mix of cute and basic pieces that would be great in any wardrobe. As always, Stitch Fix is such a convenient service and I always appreciate the fact that I can try everything on in the comfort of my own home!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this Fix if you sign up today? Stitch Fix curates its Fixes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This styling service costs $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $206.00. The invoice lists the cost of each item next to it, but if I keep all 5 items, then I get a 25% discount. The $20 styling fee for the Fix is applied to the purchase no matter how many items you keep, and in this case, it would bring the total down to $134.50. That’s a discount of around 35% for these items.

While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

I got that green top from Stitch Fix probably 2 years ago – a great staple piece that I would still continually wear often if I wasn’t stuck working from home all day every day 🙂

I was hoping you kept the brown top! I have noticed many cardigan type sweaters don’t have any buttons or closures, for the front. I prefer them having something. Is this a thing for the season?
its annoying. lol. I’ve used a safety pin to close a couple, but rather they come with it.

You know that is so true! I honestly think about pockets first when it comes to cardigans, but it would definitely be nice to have some that actually close! lol

Kristin

Did you keep anything?

I ended up keeping the brown top! I’ve already worn it and it was great! If I weren’t reviewing each month I probably would have kept more! Lol
