Sock Panda is a monthly sock subscription service. With each shipment, you’ll receive a surprise selection of quality socks from their own house brand with plenty of eye-catching colors and unique designs. Sock Panda offers subscriptions for men, women, teens, and kids ages 3-8. When you sign up, you’ll pick some style preferences (Wild & Crazy, Patterns & Prints, or One of Each) and note whether you’d like to receive one or two pairs per month.

According to the Sock Panda site, this subscription’s products are designed in Venice, CA, and made in a family-run factory in Lima, Peru. Sock Panda is committed to making the world a better place— as of today, the company has donated over 136,000 pairs of socks to homeless shelters, low-income senior centers, hospitals, and under-privileged classrooms throughout the country!

My December 2020 Sock Panda Review

When you join Sock Panda, you can choose between one or two pairs of socks a month. You also can choose between “wild & crazy,” “patterns & prints,” or one of each. I chose to receive "wild & crazy" because I find the flare they add to my daily outfits fun and exciting!

Feather Socks

Green and red are definitely my top favorite winter colors, as they tend to be traditional Christmas tones so I appreciate the olive green heels these minty green and tan socks debut, especially because they are also adorned in feathers! Every time I see a feather, I think of the quote: "feathers appear when angels are near" and it warms my heart. This particular pair of socks features the "Sock Panda" logo but does not have the traditional "Give Back" logo on the bottom. These socks have ample stretch and fit my athletic calves better than some of the previous pairs of socks I've received. Because these socks aren't quite as bright as some of the other pairs I own, I feel they will coordinate with the vast majority of my wardrobe and will be a little more appropriate for my district meetings than say the Medusa socks from last month!

Turkey Day Socks

Interestingly enough I received this package two days before Thanksgiving, which while in time for the big day, left me scratching my head a bit. I really wish they would have sent these last month. My family and I enjoyed the turkey comic, and I totally would have worn these to school this past week had I received them earlier! The quote "He's got a point. Nobody eats a flamingo on Thanksgiving" gave us a chuckle, as one of the turkeys is donning a pair of stilts with a flamingo beak. I was a little worried that these might fit a little tight because of the varying color and font pattern, but found them actually to be really stretchy – which I love! Even though these goofy socks are on the complete opposite color spectrum of my chosen Thanksgiving outfit, I will display these proudly for my kids and husband just because they are so comical.

Verdict: Sock Panda featured some really fun socks this month. I was pleasantly surprised to see the looser fit of the socks this month, as last time I could hardly fit the leaf-patterned socks up my calf. I was a bit disappointed that we didn't receive these Thanksgiving style socks in the previous month, as I only had a short time frame to debut the turkey pair, but I will at least get to wear them on the big turkey day. I wrote last month I was hoping for snowflakes in December, but maybe they'll come in January instead.
