PinkSeoul Mask Box Review

Prior to purchasing a subscription, PinkSeoul will ask you several customization questions. Some products are more appropriate/recommended for a particular skin type so be sure to figure out what your skin type is.

Here is the info sheet for the box.

Mizon Peptide 500 Ampoule, 1 oz – Retail Value $35 (on sale here for $21.52)

This is an anti-aging serum with five different peptides, hyaluronic acid, and a glycerin base to make this moisturizing and anti-inflammatory while fighting fine lines. This layered well with my skincare routine, and I noticed that it helped to keep my skin hydrated.

Petitfee Gold & Snail Mask – Estimated Value $4.80 (buy a box of 5 for $24)

I am always happy to try out a hydrogel mask- I love the cooling sensation of the material and how they are usually mess-free. My skin always responds well to anything containing snail, and this time it was no different – my skin was happy with a bit of a glow after 20 minutes of wearing it.

Papa Recipe Bombee Green Honey Mask – Retail Value $3.25

I love, love, love, the Papa Recipe honey masks. I’ve already gone through a box of ten after trying them out on a whim. It’s no surprise that my skin likes the mix of propolis, honey, and royal jelly extract, and this green variation is also made with avocado, parsley, and green tea. My skin loved it, and if you’ve been interested in trying any Papa Recipe honey mask take this as your sign to go for it.

Duft & Doft Salmon VGene Hydro Active Mask – Retail Value $2.82

This microfiber sheet mask is incredibly soft on my skin, and it’s infused with a concentrated essence that contains fermented green tea, salmon extract (rich in Omega-3’s!), and collagen to give skin a boost of nourishment. The sheet mask material is infused with a ton of essence, so I was able to wear this mask for about thirty minutes without it drying out.

JM Solution Marine Luminous Pearl Deep Mask – Estimated Value $2.20 (buy a box of 10 for $22)

I’m a fan of JM Solution masks – they’re not new to me, and I’ve even tried this one before. The cellulose sheet mask is made with pearl extract and seawater, and this mask also comes with an essence and eye cream to treat your skin to the full illuminating effect of the marine extracts.

VT Cosmetics Super Hyalon Capsule Mask – Estimated Value $2.50 (buy 10 for $25)

Clay masks can have a tendency to dry out skin, but this has eight different types of hyaluronic acid along with panthenol and mallow extract to hydrate the skin while gently absorbing excess oil.

Tony Moly I’m Makgeolli Mask – Retail Value $3.75

Tony Moly I’m Tea Tree Mask – Retail Value $3.75

Tony Moly I’m Sea Weed Mask – Estimated Value $3 (buy two for $6)

If you’ve tried out sheet masks, chances are you’ve tried one of these I’m From masks from Tony Moly. They’re a bit basic and the sheet mask material is a bit stiff, but they get the job done and leave skin hydrated. There are over 20 variations in this sheet mask line, and at this point, I’ve tried most of them. There isn’t really a noticeable difference between them, but my skin always enjoys them.

Innisfree My Real Green Tea Squeeze Mask – Retail Value $1.80

Innisfree My Real Fig Squeeze Mask – Retail Value $1.80

These are another really basic sheet mask that my skin enjoys – plus, they’re super affordable! Like the Tony Moly masks, there isn’t a real noticeable difference between the variations, and even though the sheet masks do contain alcohol my skin does soak up all of the moisture every time I wear them.

The Verdict: It takes me a while to go through all of the sheet masks in this box, but I always enjoy them. There were a few repeats this month, but none of them were misses for me so I have no complaints. The peptide serum was a nice surprise, too – the "accessory" item that comes in addition to the ten sheet masks can be just about anything, so a nice serum is always appreciated. Value-wise, this box adds up to $61.42, which is about standard for this subscription.

I wonder what the criteria is for a mask to be considered suitable for sensitive skin.

I love JM Solution. I’ve never tried their masks so definitely going to try. I love their jelly cleanser.
