Norlii is a bi-monthly home subscription box filled with Scandinavian home decor and accessories. I always marvel at the great curation of the best from minimal brands like Normann Copenhagen and others. There's always a great balance of form and function in this $69.95 (+ shipping) subscription.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Norlii Scandinavian Home & Lifestyle Box December 2020 Review

This month's Norlii is WFH-themed, though these items would be cute and functional anywhere.

Ib Laursen Soft Velvet Pillow in 'Anthracite' with Duck Feather Insert - Listed Value $47.00

Who wouldn't be excited about such a luxe pillow? I love velvet and throw pillows and this chic deep brown (almost black) pillow is gorgeous! The 100% cotton velvet feels super soft and is of great quality. This cover also arrived with an insert which is nice because I would have had to buy one. Vegan friends, be warned though, this is filled with duck feathers! It is plush but not overly stuffed, and the perfect shape for a nice slouchy pillow.

Here it is on my bed!

Broste Copenhagen Tea Cups - Listed Value $31.00

I also love receiving ceramic pieces in boxes, and these are so clean and minimalist. They are a great size for a nice cup of tea! The ceramic feels weighty and warm in my hands and the beige glaze with charming freckles look great in my kitchen.

Broste Copenhagen Paper Ornaments - Retail Value $6.00 each

I didn't expect to like these paper ornaments so much but they are just beautifully made. The paper is thick and the edge has a very cute texture. They open and lock into place with the help of a strong magnet and easily fold back up for storage. The soft earth tones look great with my normal holiday decor!

The Mallows Caramel Marshmallows, 80 g - Listed Value $10.00

Ooooh my. I absolutely adore marshmallows and these were the best I have had. They were slightly more dense than your typical mallows and covered in both a thin caramel coating and a soft dusting of chocolate. Just a few of these is a wonderful tea-time snack, though I must admit I couldn't stop at just a few.

Pair of House Doctor Tea Light Holders - Listed Value $22.00

Glowing votives are always a part of my holiday decor and basically my entire winter! This duo looks demure but has such a beautiful texture. They are made out of a warm metal with an organic texture that swirls and dances in the light of the candle. These are pretty enough to use all year long! If you aren't so much into candles, try filling these with your fave salt (pink salt is stunning!) and then using it to stick your incense into!

Aabenlys Soy Tea Lights

Complimenting our holders is this pair of 100% soy votives. They burn bright and clean!

Verdict:  This month's Norlii was so very perfect for this time of year! I loved the super cozy elements inside. Everything was perfect for adding to my holiday decor ambiance. My favorite items would have to be the pillow and those marshmallows, but truly everything here was delightful. While Norlii is a rather expensive subscription, it is one of those that always feels incredibly special and as though you went boutique shopping and selected these special things for your home.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

This is definitely one of favorite boxes! I ordered additional marshmallows and two more pillows, one green and one a rose. Merry Christmas to me🎄

This is a gorgeous box and reminds me of my studying in Aalborg, Denmark at the Conservatory of Music for four years. The paper ornaments are truly a Danish thing. They make the most intricate little cutout scenes of red, green, white and gold paper and they hang them on the tree but also in their windows and the light shines through them. They are gorgeous and you will find them at every Danish house. If I could post a photo, I would here. Google it 🙂

What a lovely box. Definitely a wish list box! If you’re a marshmallow lover , like me, try stuffed puffs. I got their xmas assorted box ! They are marshmallows stuffed with chocolate. For xmas they have a chocolate one stuffed with peppermint. They make instant hot chocolate or do like me and hold one over a candle for dessert lol. I dont work for them I just saw these marshmallows and want them too.

I loved my box but was a bit disappointed in the size of the pillow, I thought it would be a lot larger. Though Megan your pic make the pillow look huge.

Hi Pam, that pillow does look big in Megan’s pics! May I ask what’s the actual size? Am very tempted to get this box just for the pillow!

The theme of the November/December box is “Holiday Harmony”; the prior box included the home office/WFH assortment.
