  1. WOW! I always gave thumbs up to Tetsttube / Newbeauty and tried to defend them but no more. I just spoke to an agent who either didn’t understand what I was saying or who didn’t care.
    I bought several bundles during that week sale and for at least 2 of them, I received a much lesser value than advertised, like this bundle with the Lamcome eye cream. The value of the bundle is advertised as +140, I received a total value of only $87.33 the 2 mystery products they sent me are the daily concepts soap sponge (retail value $5) and the Philosophy purity cleanser sample size 1 oz (value $4.33). I sent some messages that were ignored, so I called and the male agent I talked to kept saying you only paid $19.95 for it. He told me to go to the web site if I needed info about what I bought. He refused to understand that I did not received what was advertised and he kept saying all sale were final, no return and he won’t do anything else to make this right and refused to transfer to a supervisor.
    I also received another bundle with a value of only $114 instead of +$140 and another bundle seems to have been lost as there is not update on the tracking whatsoever.

    • I got the same little extras and it does not come near 140.

    • I completely agree with you and same thing happened to me. I got the eye cream with those items. And the last day beauty bundles didn’t come close to the promised value. The only bundle that was good was with the cellusculpt that came with a $45 face mask and the l’occitane cleanser. The rest were crappy samples. I have been too busy with Christmas to do anything about it. Very upset to hear that they don’t care. If they weren’t going to provide the promised value why advertise as such?!!!

    • This is unacceptable, it’s false advertisement. I honestly was counting on the mystery products to have the value advertised (+$70). I wonder if MSA could reach out to Testtube/NewBeauty to see if they would do something about this. And please Ladies, who are having this issue, it would be great if you could reach out to Testtube to voice your opinion as they should not just get away with this because they will do it again.

      • I agree completely. I’m pretty mad about it. I’m asking for a full return/refund. So far they’ve said the item is final sale which would be true if they had sent me what we purchased but they did not. I bought an item that included $100+ of products, stated in writing on the item on their website, and they sent me about $60 worth of product. $40 short of what I bought is not acceptable. I will try one more time & If they don’t let me return it for a refund today, I will be reporting them for false advertising to whomever I can & of course my own credit card company & their social media first. This was clearly a scam. I feel like they are trying to take advantage of us & they don’t think we will do anything about it. It’s illegal so I will waste my time to make sure I do what I can. I also agree MSA should reach out since they helped advertise the deal. If New Beauty doesn’t provide what they promised in this deal then I don’t think they should be advertised on MSA anymore or I won’t be able to trust any other deals posted here in the future.

      • My long comment isn’t posting but I agree completely. It’s false advertising and illegal. I want either what I purchased or a full return. If I don’t get what I paid for I’ll be taking whatever actions I can so they don’t get away with it or can’t do it in the future.

  2. Just got mine. The extras are 3 ounce Chi argan oil plus moringa oil, and cbd daily soothing serum.
    I cannot figure out what or how the serum. The cbd daily web sit was not informative.

  5. I bought a NBTT box on October 23rd, never received it and they are challenging me that I even bought it! I’m going through my bank to get a chargeback. Regardless of whatever goodies they ever put out again, and I’ve been a customer back and forth for a few years, I’ll never purchase from them again… even when I provided them ample evidence. This had to be the worst customer service I ever received from a company. One question I received from them was: “What website did you buy NBTT from?” Um… the one I forwarded my paid receipt from your company (the one that normally comes from your company!)….. ugh. Too many great companies to choose from now.

    • I bought the prepaid year and they were still charging me the regular fee along side it. I had to cancel the double charges multiple times and they would say that they were going to need to call me back and never would and I would call and start the process over again. Finally after several months of paying for two identical subscriptions, after having already paid and cancelling the duplicate subscription multiple times, I did a chargeback. Oddly enough they made the effort and went through the hassle to actually charge back my charge back! Basically refuting the charge back through great effort. They were going to make damn sure they got their double charges. So this year when the prepaid one year discount came around for Black Friday I did not bite. Horrible customer service!

      • Thanks for sharing your experience! I almost subscribed to the yearly sub Black Friday offer but after cursory glancing through all the 2020 reviews I was not convinced. I did buy one of the Beauty Pass boxes out of curiosity but in hindsight is a purchase I regret… We will see when the box comes on February… Im hoping at least the zoom event is good and will have some wine to enjoy a beauty event online day 🙂

      • It’s on their homepage, scroll down all the way to the bottom, it’s the last thing. I was looking for it too. I may or may not buy today’s bundle but I definitely want to see what tomorrow’s deal is 😀

  8. Not after they charged me for a box after I canceled. They basically said I was lying. If you are going to cancel with them make sure you have the documentation that you canceled. I did have the documentation to prove I canceled and was able to get my money back.

    • Omgosh, they did the Exact same thing to me! They actually made the effort to charge back my charge back! I pre-paid for a year and they were also charging me for the subscription full price alongside it every other month. Calling them didn’t help but they made the effort to charge back my charge back when I finally went through my bank! Unbelievable horrendous customer service
