My box arrived today but no rest & restore kit was included. I had called & placed my order over the phone where they assured me it was included. And I also received a clearly labeled pencil case instead of a Dopp kit.
Did anyone else not receive their rest & restore kit?
I don’t have any other tracking numbers & they haven’t responded to any emails I’ve sent. I guess I’ll be calling today but I’m getting a bad vibe from GQ as a first time subscriber.

This box and bonus gift just arrived a few minutes ago. I purchased it on Dec 2nd, received the shipping email on Dec 16th (shipped from IL to Arizona). It is a fantastic box and am so excited I came across it and for the recipient 🙂 Since I’m apparently subscribed for a year, I’m already looking forward to the Spring box!

Rochelle

Della, did yours come in the same box? I only received one box and the rest & restore kit was not included. I only have one tracking number too. Wondering if it comes separately?

Robyn, did you ever get your rest & restore bonus box? I’m still waiting for mine. I called on Jan 2 & they said they were finally sending one to me. A second rep even confirmed it & was supposed to be sending a replacement for an item in the regular box which never arrived either. Now when I call, I’m just put on hold forever. I’m very frustrated at this point. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Rochelle

Robyn, I called them today & a rep said they are “re”-sending my gwp box. He wouldn’t answer when asked repeatedly if it was ever sent the first time though & wouldn’t give me a tracking number. He said it will take 2-3 weeks to get to me after it ships & didn’t care much about any of it. I called back to clarify & got Tika, she was an excellent customer service rep & she was able to handle things in a very professional, helpful, caring manner. I recognized her voice & thought that she has helped me before but I have never called GQ until this box…it turns out she has in her records that she has helped me for allure beauty box in the past & has been excellent for them too! So ask for Tika if possible, she single handedly saved GQ’s reputation for me.

Robyn

I only received my regular box. No bonus box. Not happy.

Sara

Has anyone gotten tracking for this? It’s the 15th…

Rochelle

I did get tracking but never received either box. I ordered on 12/5, they sent an email saying it shipped 12/16 from Illinois & the tracking says that OSM worldwide took it to Pennsylvania on 12/17 but never handed it over to the post office. Then tracking stopped. I’m in Virginia & they haven’t arrived in time for Christmas.

Robyn

I received tracking a while back. It is finally in my area but doubt it makes it here today (Christmas).

Robyn

No tracking either. I called they said it was processing and would be delivered by 12/24!

I just called customer service to make sure I will get the box if I subscribe since I don’t see it in my cart & the customer service rep said he has never heard of this, has no information on anything I told him & pretty much told me that I was reading something from a third party on the internet that wasn’t true lol. I tried to explain that MSA is very reputable (and I’m sure knows more than he does about the promotions) but he wouldn’t even look into it further for me since he thought I was crazy. I’ll pass until they offer another good bonus since my son will only use a few of the items in the winter box. The extra box would have made it a good deal to try out!

Please disregard the comment above. It was written before my later comments below but for some reason didn’t post so it’s out of order. 🙂

Robyn

Just ordered. Extra box included no code needed. Delivery by 12/24!!!! Wow what a fantastic deal for $50

Robyn, I can’t reply below but I found the promo on their own gq gift list page so thought I would try again. This time I got a rep who couldn’t find any info about the promo either but was nice enough to ask a supervisor, who told her it was called a ‘flash sale’, was only being sent until supply ran out & wouldn’t show up anywhere to confirm it was included until after I paid IF it was still available at that time. So she put the order through by phone & waited for a confirmation from her supervisor that it was included in mine. Then she said it was called the GQ Holiday Gift Bundle on her screen. She also told me that the current promo is the 2 workout supplement powders so it seems they aren’t actually ‘included in the basic winter box’ but showed they were included in my order.
I think the problem I was having was that I hadn’t actually submitted my subscription online. If I had & then called afterwards to confirm the reset & recharge box was included, it would have shown up on their computer as included. It’s funny that my two reps had never heard of it before but I’m glad I did get it! My boxes will arrive 11/23-11/30 so fingers crossed they get here before christmas! Thanks again for your help!

Robyn

Yes I definitely had to place the order first then it came up on screen. Will post here when I receive it.

Rochelle

Thanks Robyn, my comments aren’t posting, sorry if this is a duplicate. It doesn’t appear in my cart so I called too & the rep told me no such box or promo ever existed lol. He was condescending & just acted like I was reading fake info on the internet. So I didn’t subscribe knowing I that I wouldn’t get it. I’m glad you were luckier than I was & thank you for your help!

Robyn

Wow that sucks. The lady said she could see my acct, winter box and reset box. I think you should try calling again. You never know. It was easy to get through on the phone too.

Rochelle

Robyn, how did you get it to add? It isn’t showing up in my cart before I pay. Thank you for any help!

Robyn

It is automatic. I called to confirm and to ask if I will get this before Christmas (keep in mind blanket and oil are sent separate)

Meghan

I really want to sign up for the free Reset and Recharge Kit box but there is nothing indicated on the order summary/review part that I am getting this free box before I pay. How can we tell if we clicked through the link/prompts correctly?

Margie

I wanted two of these for Christmas presents for my sons.
I called and they said that the Reset and Recharge kits were still available.

Della

I had the same question after I placed my order so I called customer service and they confirmed I was all set to receive the winter box and reset & recharge kit.

A bunch of nice stuff!

Debating about this, but it looks like a really great deal with stuff for both my husband and myself. Was curious about what Headspace is, so looked it up & here is their app description: “Everyday Mindfulness and Meditation for Stress, Anxiety, Sleep, Focus, Fitness, and More.”

Della

Just ordered this for my fiancé . At first I really just wanted it for the blanket lol but upon closer look, I realized he would enjoy 90% of the contents (he won’t give a crap about pins and cards). Anyway, super excited to gift him this for Christmas yay! 😀

Is this box hard to cancel?

Reply ButtonReply

Della

I can’t speak to their cancelation process; I haven’t had to do it. I l know they are part of the Conde Nast group (Allure beauty box which I sub to). Their customer service is easy to contact via 800 number and I did call the number to verify I was receiving the Reset and Recharge Kit. They were helpful, attentive and assured me I was set to receive the winter box and bonus kit. There is a lot to be said about contacting a live person vs emailing like some other subs. This was at the bottom of my receipt –
