FabKids (little sister brand to Fabletics and JustFab) is a monthly clothing subscription for boys and girls that allows you to shop in two ways: you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the FabKids quiz for your child (for multiple children you can add a kid) and note their size and style preferences.
- Each month, FabKids releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your child's preferences, which you can view in their personalized FabShop.
- Shop those looks at 40% off traditional retail prices, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $29.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.

When you sign up for FabKids, they will ask you a few questions about your child: their name, age, clothing size, favorite weekend activity, and which outfit you/they prefer out of a few options. This helps to personalize your child's "FabShop" each month. If you have multiple kids you are shopping for, there is an option to "add a kid."

My daughter has some really fun unicorn onesie pajamas with a hood so when I saw they had these cute yetis I thought they would be perfect for my boys, but they were a little pricey. I actually waited until a little later in the month to order and I'm so glad I did because they ended up having a 40% off sale so I got them for much less! These pajamas only zip down halfway, so they aren't quite as practical as I would like (for using the bathroom and diaper changes), but the super-soft fleece material is very thin, which I think is better since they could get too warm otherwise. The hood is much thicker, though, for some added warmth and the yeti face is a fun feature! The boys really liked them and I thought the fit for both of them was good. I ordered my older son a 4T/5T and I think that it actually fits closer to a 4T, which is fine for him, but if you have taller kiddos you may want to size up. The 3T for my younger son fit perfectly.

My older son has a pretty fun sense of style and his favorite pair of shorts (that he still wears on the days we stay in) are these tropical bird shorts that I got for him last summer, so I figured this shirt with sharks, palm trees, and surfers would be another hit. This one was already on sale for just $8.99 so it was kind of a no-brainer. I'm actually going to save this for one of his Christmas presents since it's more of a summer shirt, and I think he's going to love it!

Lastly, I couldn't resist this hat since the colors were so great! I knew it would look so cute on my brown-eyed boys (we do a lot of accessory sharing!). This one wasn't on sale at the time, but with the 40% off I still felt like it was worth it! It's not super thick, but it will work for most of the cold days around here.
The Verdict: I thought this month's FabKids options were really fun and my boys love their matching yeti pajamas! The half-zip construction is kind of a bummer, but I'm glad the material is thinner, making them more suitable for sleeping. The beanie is just as cute in person as I expected and I am so excited to give my son that bright, tropical shirt for Christmas! I'm also glad I waited for a sale. I simply went into my account and skipped the month right away so that way I was able to wait and shop at my leisure! Sometimes it can really work to your advantage. With sale prices and discounts, I ended up paying $55.71 after taxes (including $6.95 shipping) for these items that retail for $124 and cost $99.84 with the VIP discount. Not bad!
