Mabel Jacket by Marika, Size L – Retail Value $39.00
This month I chose the Purple Haze collection, although I had a really difficult time deciding because there were some good ones! I liked the color of this collection and I really liked the zip-up jacket which is something that I don’t have but thought would be perfect for walks and hikes. It is soft with a bit of stretch to it, with zippered pockets and thumbholes in the sleeves. It has a dry-wik finish and is comfortable and provides just enough warmth for a cooler day. I like the length on this one, too!
High Waisted Printed Contender Legging by Marika, Size L
These leggings have a fun watercolor effect that reminds me of the wallpaper in my childhood friend’s house in the ’90s, although these colors are much more subtle and wearable. They are buttery soft and stretchy, comfortable to wear and they even have a zippered pocket on the back. I’m not sure how much I’ll use that, but it’s nice to have to store my phone in if I do need it!
The sports bra this month is more simple than previous styles I’ve received and it’s just a traditional bra with fitted, padded cups and a band with a lot of stretch at the bottom. It has removable cups and it is seamless and made for low impact activities. This has the dry-wik finish, too. This is a great basic bra that is comfortable to wear!
Verdict: I was really happy with the jacket from this month’s Ellie collection. It is comfortable and something that I don’t already own. It has already come in handy on a family hike. I loved having pockets to put my phone and keys in so that my hands were free to help the kids. The leggings were super cozy and the bra was a good fit, too. This felt like another great value for the $44.95 cost of this box. Especially since it included that great jacket!
