Ecocentric Mom + Baby Box November 2020 Review

Little Luminary Bath + Bubble, 4 fl oz - Retail vale $8.99

Thanks to baby subscription boxes, it seems I never have to buy bubble baths or body wash for my kids. This is one of the favorites I've received, though! It smells like lavender and chamomile so it's perfect for pre-bedtime or just encouraging some chill bathtime relaxation. It is very gentle and my kids had no issues with stinging eyes or anything, and it cleansed their hair well (and left my babies smelling great). It's a win for us!

Green Sprouts Sprout Ware Snack Cups, 3 pack - Retail value $4.99

I wasn't sure if I would use these when I first opened up the package, but they've actually proven very helpful! They're good for packing finger foods to send with my 1-year-old to childcare or keeping some cheerios or puffs safe from being crushed in my diaper bag.

Green Sprouts Snip + Feed Scissors - Retail value $6

These scissors are designed to make the process of cutting and mashing food for your kid faster and easier for you. There's a small blade part to cut things with and the tip of these scissors is actually a little tool made for mashing things up. To be honest, I don't really think these are more practical or speedy than chopping things quickly with a knife or mashing with a fork. I could see it being useful for when you're on-the-road, but then you have dirty, food-covered scissors to try to wash off somehow and take with you. I'm sure there's likely someone out there who feels this solves all their baby-food-portion problems, but it's not for me.

Mirabelle Wild Flower Pink Blossom Eye Lights Eyeshadow,  - Retail value $28

At first, I thought this was a blush, but it's an eyeshadow! I don't wear a lot of pink shadows, but it's actually very pretty. I love how fine the shimmer is - it's more of a glowy look.

Ada Lip Rally, 4g - Retail value $14

I love this! It's a lip balm that has some sugar right in it for exfoliation, designed to dissolve when you rub your lips together for a minute. I'm all for multi-tasking! A one-step balm and lip scrub that I don't have to wash off? Excellent. It's gentle enough to use anytime you need a balm, but my favorite thing to do with this is use it before I do my makeup so that by the time I'm ready to put on lipstick, my lips are exfoliated, hydrated, and prepped for my lipstick to look its best.

Verdict: This month's Ecocentric Mom was pretty good! The food scissors are just a miss for me, unfortunately, but I'm happy with everything else. I love the bubble bath and lip balm and have been enjoying the eye shadow and snack cups. The retail value of this box reaches $61.98 and I'm happy to see the retail value increase back to where I usually expect it to be after a lower value last month.
