JustFab Review + First Look for $10 Coupon – November 2020

JustFab is a monthly clothing, shoes and accessories subscription that allows you to shop in two ways – you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:

  • Take the Style quiz to note your size and style preferences.
  • Each month, JustFab releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your preferences which you can view in your personalized Boutique
  • Shop those looks at 40% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $39.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
  • As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.

FYI, COVID-19 Updates: Stay up-to-the-minute on shipping delays, return policy changes, and more right here.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

JustFab November 2020 Review

I get a lot of questions about how this subscription works and since it is a bit confusing I figured I’d walk you through the process:

Signing Up

The first step to signing up is taking a short quiz to answer some questions about your style, or you can just skip that and go straight into registering for an account with your name, email address, and shoe size. Then they will take you to your “boutique” which are some items they recommend for you. While the $10 offer seems like it can only be applied to shoes, it will also take 40% off any clothing or accessories, which will be the price shown in red. Of course, once you go to check out, they may offer you some additional deals, so I recommend finding a few items and seeing how much you can save! Just a warning- they do sell out of items quickly, especially in certain sizes, so if you are in love with something, don’t hesitate!

First Purchase

Just for fun, I added these slide sandals to my cart. Now you can see they ring up as only $10 so long as you select that you are joining their VIP membership. I’ve also included the terms of their membership program. FYI – I have successfully canceled an account in the past without having to call in.

Here you can see the difference between the VIP savings (left) versus just shopping without a membership.

Monthly Membership

Each month you can avoid paying the $39.95 membership fee by simply going into “My Account” and selecting “Skip the Month.” Once it says “You’ve Skipped,” you can just forget about this until next month with no obligation to shop or buy. You could also shop that month to avoid the credit, but I much prefer skipping and then shopping at my leisure, or even better, waiting for a sale to shop! Also, you get points for shopping and for reviewing items you’ve purchased which can be redeemed for a percentage off or even just a dollar-amount off which can add up fairly quickly. Although, sometimes the way the credit applies to sale items can get a bit tricky, so you may have to play around with it a bit to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

Summary

  • It’s $10 for your first pair of shoes or 40% off clothing or accessories for your first purchase.
  • Set a reminder to skip each month so you don’t end up with a credit you don’t want.
  • Shop sales to maximize savings!

This month they actually had a buy-more-save-more promo going on and I took full advantage of that!

Rutherford Duck Boot in Cognac/Grey – Retail Value $72.95, VIP Price $49.95 (currently on sale for $19.98!)

It has been pretty rainy lately (well actually, not since I got these boots, of course!), but I wanted a pair of shoes that I could throw on when the weather is wet and I need to run out for something. I have a pair of nice snow boots, but they are high boots and not quite as easy to slip on as these are. I didn’t realize they were fully sherpa lined, but this means they are extra toasty which I think will feel nice on those dreary, drizzly days. The faux fur lining also means that these fit snugly and comfortably which means I can tie them loosely and slip them on without fully untying them which is very convenient! I really like the color of these, too with the brown toe and the gray sides – it seems like these will match pretty much everything! I had a specific purpose in mind for these and so far, these seem to have been a perfect choice! Let’s just hope that they really do hold up to the rainy weather! (pictures below)

Corduroy Toggle Front Coat in Evening Blue – Retail Value $86.95, VIP Price $59.95

I think you all know by now that I can’t resist a good jacket on sale! This corduroy jacket is not my typical style, but it just looked so cute with the gorgeous blue color and those fun toggles on the front that I could not resist the $15.00 price tag! The jacket is soft and such a rich, beautiful blue that I don’t mind looking like Paddington in this thing. It has gold hardware and a zipper underneath, so the toggles are really more for show. The pockets actually have two different layers which are kind of cool and unique. If you swipe through you can see. Overall, this jacket is cozy and cute enough that even my husband expressed his adoration… after referring to me as Paddington, of course!

Quilted Loop Crossbody in Burgundy – Retail Value $59.95, VIP Price $39.95 (currently on sale for $15.00)

With their “buy more, save more” promo going on, I literally bought more and paid the same price as I would have had I not added this purse last minute. This was another one that was on sale for $15.00 and the burgundy color with the gold hardware felt like a great winter combination to me. I like the quilted detail on the front, although I’m not 100% sold on that gold chain. It is just for decoration so it could probably be removed with some pliers. The inside of the bag has a fun black and white print, a small zippered pocket, and small open pockets on the opposite side. It’s a nice size for a quick trip or when you don’t need as much with you!

Here it is on for a sense of scale.

The Verdict: I have had my eye on those boots for a while now and when I realized that their sale meant I could get them for a steal, I knew this month’s JustFab shipment was going to be good! I honestly wasn’t sure how the color of the boots would work in person and I had no clue whether I could pull off that toggle coat, but both exceeded my expectations, which is pretty great. I’m also happy with the beautiful color of the burgundy bag which feels so seasonally appropriate to me. With the sale, I ended up paying $55.21 with free shipping and these items normally retail for $219.85 ($149.85 VIP price) which is a pretty significant savings!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, these items are currently available!

COUPON: Get your first look for $10! No coupon needed - just use this link.

Value Breakdown: The total retail value for these items is $219.85, and the current VIP total is $149.85. I paid $55.21 which is a discount of about 75% off retail and 63% off VIP.
