Just thought I’d point out Ipsy’s site now says that December will be the last month for ultimate. I’m going to miss it. I always like it best out of my 3 bags.

Thanks for the update Amber. I haven’t received any shipping notification for my November Ultimate bag yet. Is anyone else having this issue? Usually my bag ships out earlier. I received my regular bag at least a week ago.

I had a shipping label created on the 6th, but no movement since. I am beginning to think I may not be receiving my November Ultimate.

Honey Jarret masks (can use a few & gift the rest)

Milk Matcha cleanser (love this)
Nomad eyeshadow palette
Outre hair mask (NEED)
Pomegranate serum (yay)
The Balm blush (meh)

I’m pretty happy. Great variety & all items I will use. The other options I either already have or don’t want.

And by great, I mean great considering the items available this month.

You got ALL the spoilers but the hair mask, plus an eye cream!

I signed back up because of the spoilers and only got two of them. The palette and my choice item.

Bummer. My least fav ultimate ever.

I really wanted the milk cleaner, pomegranate serum, and hair mask 🙁

The cleanser and serum were available as add ons, but not at appealing enough prices after paying for my bag. I would have paid $18 for the hair mask had it been available, though.

I stayed subbed hoping for the hair mask. I chose the pomegranate serum, and the only other item I wanted was the hair mask. I would have been happy with the bell pepper serum or any of the sheet masks, as well. The Tuscany palette looks too warm for me and I have a lifetime supply of eye creams already. I don’t wear red lipstick, either. I’m not sure about the Milk purifying mask, as my skin is dry. Not bad items, just not for me, and not well-suited to my profile. I know it’s a gamble, but if I get 2 full-sized items that I really want for $50, I am satisfied. This is my most disappointing month ever for both the regular bag and the ultimate. At least I like the bags this month.

Best Ultimate I’ve ever gotten…the same as MSA.

I saw my reveal early this morning and I was so not happy with what was in my Ultimate bag. I wish I got the same bag than MSA. They gave only cheap products that I thought were samples. Besides the eye cream that I picked, there was nothing that I like. This is the 3rd month in a row that I go a bad Ultimate bag. This is it, I have to cancel so I don’t get frustrated again.
BTW, I have not been able to see my bag reveal again.

I picked the Kush lip gloss too, so maybe I’m getting a similar assortment. For some reason I can’t see mine. I want the palette (seems likely), a fragrance, preferabley Raw Instinct, any of the lip colors would be great. I definitely don’t need 2 serums, probably not even 1, but you get what you get. Always glad to get a brow gel and a setting spray too.

I take a peek at the Glam bag ultimate reveals every month hoping it will get better. I have not renewed this sub since the first month it launched.

I sub twice to Glam bag plus with slightly different profiles. I pay the same amount ($50) but instead I receive 10 full size items versus the 8 in Ultimate. I know ultimate receives 4 additional trial size items, but I prefer full size items, I think you’re getting more bang for your buck doing it this way.

Occasionally I will get duplicate items, but they are usually items I will absolutely use and love.

Just thought I would throw this opinion out there.

That is definitely a better deal if that works for you! I feel like Ipsy usually tries to “diversify” the Ultimate bags & put only 1 or 2 of each type of product in, so I end up with products from my low-rated categories (at least judging by the few times I’ve gotten Ultimate… I think this will only be my 3rd one).

I truly wouldn’t mind getting 5 nail polishes & 7 “other” products, for example, lol.

You are absolutely correct. If you can handle the volume of products and the financial outlay, then certainly choosing six products yourself is better than choosing one. They’ll need to tweak Ultimate soon and change how it’s done if they want it to flourish.

Oh, wow, the MSA account is getting both serums! That’s pretty nice! I’m getting mostly the same bag, except instead of the Bubble T lotion (I purchased this as an add-on a couple months ago) & the Byroe serum, I’m getting the H20 moisturizer & the I Dew Care mask set. Overall, I think it is worth the $50 to me.

I’m a little bummed I missed out on the Crabtree & Evelyn fragrance — I wanted to try Raw Instinct!
