We have spoilers for the December 2020 Ipsy Glam Bag Ultimate!

Here are some of the products they are sending this month. Not all subscribers will receive all items:

ARTIST COUTURE Diamond Lights Finisher in Golden Hour

When you’re looking to bring the glow, serve up your looks with a side of multidimensional shimmer. Made by makeup guru Angel Merino, this shimmering powder can be used anywhere—eyes, cheekbones, as a lip topper—and will have you shining bright like the diamond you are. And the texture? So cool. It melts onto your skin for a wet-shine finish that’s one word: magic.

COMPLEX CULTURE Full Time Eye Shadow Palette: The Party Edit

Partying via Zoom, hanging solo—RSVP “Yes” to a little glam this month with this palette of gorgeous and super fun shades. They’re grouped into three easy looks with a hero shadow brush to take the guesswork out of applying, but mix, match, wear them alone or together—they blend and build like a dream.

DOSE OF COLORS Stay Glossy Lip Gloss in Happy Hour

Bites, sips, champagne toasts, this pink coral gloss with a touch of golden shimmer will keep your lips coated in rich, hydrating (and totally not sticky) color. Consider it your go-to lip gloss for low-key looks to super glam–yup, it’s that versatile.

FLORENCE BY MILLS Built to Lash Lengthening Mascara

The super chic Millie Bobby Brown is already wowing us with her brand’s totally unique formulas, cool textures, and adorable packaging—and this lash-boosting mascara takes it to the next level. It’s made with plant-based ingredients like bayberry fruit and rose waxes to build up your lashes and keep them lifted, and the fluffy brush gets your lashes so full and fluttery.

CLARITYRX Glimmer Of Hope Shimmering Facial Oil

Winter may be cold and dry, but your skin is set to glow when you smooth on this luxe face oil. A blend of organic oils including coconut, Turkish rose, squalane, jojoba, sunflower, and marula deeply nourish skin while also fighting dullness and improving texture. Consider it a little dose of happy for your skin.

STUDIOMAKEUP Silk Hydration Face Primer

The second you touch this ultra-smooth makeup primer, you’ll know why it’s beloved for its lightweight feel. It’s soft and smooth as silk so you’ll barely feel it under makeup, and when it comes to staying power—it’s a true winner. It mattifies skin, blurs fine lines and imperfections, minimizes the look of pores, and keeps your makeup fresh for the long haul.

OMG, I need to cancel this bag and subscription. Terrible and I keep getting so many dupes. Disappointing.

This really sucks it is going to be the last ultimate bag that they offer and I literally only want the mascara and that’s for my daughter because she loves milly. Almost every bag I get just like this month .. I got every single spoiler besides one.. the same thing always happened with the plus also until we were able to choose 3 of the items. I really hope there’s a bunch of surprise items and I do NOT receive all of these. I was really thinking they were going to go out with a Bang at the very least because they are canceling it on like no notice for everyone and it’s also the month of Christmas. These are so disappointing.

Well at least I won’t have to buy a new swiffer duster pad this month! Multi purpose ipsy bag! I’m so glad they are ending the Ultimate! I payed for a year sub so the fact that Dec. Is the last one is fine for me! Saves me 200$ Their products have been crap the entire sub! Ipsy has really gone downhill! 🙁

Just thought I’d point out that Ipsy’s site now says that December will be the last month for ultimate. I’m really going to miss it. I always really liked my ultimate bags and they were always my favorite of the three.

I cancelled after October and this is proof that I’m making solid life decisions. The bag theme is “skating rink circa 1970s.” The bags themselves were a huge motivator for me at first, but they get progressively more and more like a prize at Chuck E Cheese. The fact that they kept pushing blush and eye shadow palettes on me, ala Boxycharm, just equated to a cancellation. THEN I learned of the Boxycharm/Ipsy merge and now it all makes sense.

Remember when the Ultimate bags were larger?

Not loving this bag

They’re progressively smaller every month. I used to justify a crappy month with “well at least I’ll get a good makeup bag I can actually use” but that doesn’t even happen anymore.
And this bag….oof.

That bag looks like It’s made out of carpet.

Wish they had this in plus..I likenthe bag, wouldn’t mind trying the pallette and like the artist coutoure….I’m not subbed to ulitmate and getting fed up with the plus and regular..there have been glitches for 2 months in plus where I’ve not picked out 1 item, and cant get add ons…no problem for the regular glam bag other then they dont give me decent add ons like they would for plus…ipsy care doesnt care…I’ve been loyal over 6 years and about to cancel

They have that same Complex Couture palette in plus this month!

Skipped this month for the first time in awhile. Hoping my Plus and basic bag are good. I’ve gotten at least one dupe in the last four Ultimates anyway, they give me points but what good are they when they don’t ever have anything in the shop for points? lol

I love all of my Complex Culture brushes. I have 6 or 7 all together and they really do feel very luxe and perform well. So the palette might actually be really nice.

Everything else is regurgitated Boxycharm type of stuff. They were sending out Artist Cotoure stuff 4 years ago. I still have it somewhere. Lol. Studio Makeup is another BC junk filler brand and their stuff isn’t that great. Same with those DOSE lippies.

Ipsy has lost it’s appeal overall really. The products and brands have gotten boring and repetitive. And now they are putting out more products and brands that are BC filler brands. And there will only be more of that now that the companies have merged.

Yikes, I don’t like any of these. Just saved myself fifty bucks. Cool.

I like the bag and gloss. Not sure about the other items. I’ve had my ultimate bag paused for months.

I don’t know why I was expecting December to be a great month, but I don’t like any of the spoilers for any of the bags. 🙁

Terry

Not impressed.

I’m not impressed with any of the products and the bag (if I don’t skip ultimate) would be gifted to my young daughter.

I am torn about this makeup bag, lol. It is not very utilitarian & will get messed up quickly, but it does have a certain cutesy factor that I like. I really like the color, too.

Unfortunately (fortunately?) I really dislike all these items. Complex Culture is the ipsy house brand (& therefore cannot be trusted, IMO), Florence by Mills is widely regarded as a joke brand, & I had never heard of StudioMakeup until BoxyCharm sent out a filler eyeshadow palette from them a couple months ago, so I did a quick Google search — seems like they are a subsidiary of Prestige Cosmetics. Meh.

Complex Culture brushes are really good!

IKR! Amazing quality brushes

Alice

Definitely cancelling. Wow, that’s an ugly lip color. Almost as bad as the one in So Susan. I could use that bag for applying fly wipe on my horses.
