Yeah, I’m not into colorful looks— at all. Such a waste if I only use the nudes on that palette. Trade accounts, here I come. I don’t usually like skincare in subs bc it’s usually just “fun” instead of actually functional. I’ll google this bottle to see the tea. BC is still worth it to me but I’m fastly approaching too much product but it’s so fun to receive in the midst of my depression these days. 😿

I’m beginning to think I am receiving the same things each month. I really couldn’t afford December Boxyluxe but don’t know if I really want to stop my box. I don’t know guess I will wait it out a month or two.

I choose the teeth whitening kit because I didn’t like the earrings but I would MUCH rather the Iconic palette is there anyway I can change my choices now?

As far as I know it’s still stupid. You still have to get base and Premium the first month then you can drop base if you want. I dropped base and luxe when I got Premium. I have not missed Luxe at all. Once in awhile I’ll see something in base I want (like the ND palette last month and the Glamnetic lashes this month) but I just pick up those items in b/s/t groups for cheap. Premium started out so good but even it’s become lackluster lately.

They’ve been doing that A LOT lately and it feels like such a ripoff. I was excited to see Viseart palettes as choice for December til I saw they were $9 in pop up. Of course in your box total they will still list them at RV to amp up the box “worth” but it’s so shady

I got an e-mail from Boxycharm trying to get me to sign up for Boxyluxe and it said Sunday Riley Good Genes, Iconic London face palette OR the teeth whitening kit, the Hipdot Cenote palette OR the Luxie brush set + 5 other products. So if you chose the teeth whitening kit I guess you won’t get the face palette and everyone will be getting either the eyeshadow palette or the brushes.

Not a fan of that eye palette (but I’m usually not drawn to their palettes.. and with well over 250 brushes plus 20+ on their way from the sigma 40% sale… I do like the teeth whitening kit IF IT WORKS, obviously I love good genes (bought 2 in the addons or pop-up) but lately boxy is disappointing me, dunno if they’ve gotten worse over the yrs or my makeup collection has just become more high-end and I’ve become a bit of a snob and picky…

I ended up cancelling luxe this month to get the base box. Glamnetic lashes, tarte mascara and Huda beauty palettes. Felt like I’d be jipped paying extra to not get that stuff. Hopefully they dont give me the only bad palette out of the options lol.

This thread shows that we will get all of these products in the Boxyluxe, however, I got an email from Boxycharm on an old account saying you either get the teeth whitening kit or the Iconic London face palette. Also, you either get the Hipdot palette or the Luxie brush set, not both.

They changed the formula for Sunday Riley Good Genes so it doesn’t do what it did before… Unfortunate, as it was my hero product!

I’m not sure what OP is referring to. There are two formulas now -the original Lactic acid one and the newer Glycolic acid one. I’m not aware of changes to the original Lactic. I have it and love it.

No, everyone gets the Sunday Riley and the Hipdot palette OR the Luxie brushes. If you don’t get the teeth whitening kit then you will get the Iconic London face palette.

For anyone who’s bored by the luxe choices this go-round, consider the Sol de Janeiro. I received it in one of my boxes (a month ago? two months ago?) and bought three more during the pop-up/add-on sales because I love it so much. It smells great and is very moisturizing. Not super exciting, but useful!

Noooooo! I’m not a mermaid and that’s what this palette looks like to me – mermaid colors. I also feel like I got a brush set in the last Luxe box I got as well. I was really happy with the Sunday Riley, Iconic and Sol lippie but don’t think those alone are worth $50. I guess I need to cancel.

I didn’t particularly love the Luxe choices but I think the box is looking better. The value of the box far outweighs the $50. But that’s just me.

I agree. The Sunday Riley itself pays for the box for me. I love hipdot paletts. They blend beautifully the zion is one of my most used palettes im excited to get this. And I love getting new brushes even though haven’t used the travel one from Sept yet. Either way I’m quite happy with this box so far.
