Nourish Beauty Box October 2020 Review

Each month, Nourish Beauty Box arrives with an info card that has a quick overview of the box on one side and more detailed information about the four products included on the other.

SERAPHINE botanicals Sugarcane Lip Drops – Leave-On Lip Exfoliator & Primer, 0.22 fl oz – Retail Value $21.00

Yes, yes, and YES! I absolutely love lip care products. Our lips are one of the most overlooked when it comes to skincare routines. This Seraphine Botanicals Sugarcane Lip Drops – Leave-On Lip Exfoliator & Primer has elevated my lip care routine. A completely water-based gel, this product gently exfoliates and re-texturizes lips but without any harsh granular pieces or the need to rinse. Rub a drop or two on your lips and the product will absorb quickly. Formulated with pro-Vitamin B5, carob gum, and sugarcane extract, this exfoliator and primer stimulates your skin’s natural healing process and promotes cellular renewal while hydrating, softening, and leaving lips silky smooth and primed for lip gloss or lipstick. I’ve only just begun using this product, but I have a feeling I’m going to get hooked!

Fork & Melon’s Rich Hydrating Cream for Body & Hands, 8 fl oz – Retail Value $15.00

With my overuse of harsh hand sanitizer and my compulsive hand washing this fall, the skin on my hands is dry, irritated, and cracked. I have been looking for a good hydrating lotion. This Fork & Melon Rich Hydrating Cream for Body & Hands is so very nice. It’s creamy, thick, and moisturizing without being greasy. The product quickly absorbed into my hands, giving me some relief from dry, itchy skin, while leaving my hands feeling soft and smooth. The real win for me with this product is the scent. It is incredibly light and sophisticated; nothing heavy or cloying which I absolutely love, since I’ve been noticing the heavily-scented hand creams or body lotions sting on my germ-free hands. This luxurious cream is formulated with unique ingredients, like watermelon seed oil, papaya, and pomegranate seed oil to help moisturize, detoxify, and deeply hydrate.

Cleure’s Night Cream For Sensitive Skin, 2 oz – Retail Value $38.00

This Cleure’s Night Cream for Sensitive Skin is another amazing product for people with sensitive or easily irritated skin or allergies of any kind. This product is unscented and formulated with no chemicals or harsh ingredients. It’s a thick, hydrating cream that absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave behind any sticky or greasy residue. With this heavy-duty night cream, a little goes a long way. Just a small dab of this night cream and your skin feels revitalized. I experienced no irritation or sensitivity to this product, and it didn’t feel heavy or oily on my face. Formulated with natural ingredients, this lightweight cream is hypoallergenic and suitable for all skin types.

Wyldflower Labs’ Radiancy Essence,  30 mL – Retail Value $30.00

I have fallen in love with the Wyldflower Labs brand. Back in July, we received the Wyldflower Labs’ Luminous Toning Spritz, which I used down to the last drop. This Wyldflower Labs’ Radiancy Essence Brightening Skin Softener is another fabulous product by the brand. Unlike other products that claim to give you a radiant glow, this Radiancy Essence doesn’t just slick your face up with some artificial shine. This product absorbs into your skin and creates a silky, luminous, healthy glow from the inside out by minimizing the appearance of pores. When applying this product, I felt a slight tingling sensation but experienced no redness or irritation. Formulated with orange blossom, Vitamin C, and AHA fruit acids, this product left my skin looking rejuvenated and refreshed.

Verdict: I love the targeted focus on hydration in this month’s Nourish Beauty Box. With the change of seasons, it’s very easy to let your skin dry up and end up looking like some kind of dehydrated raisin. I am absolutely psyched about the Seraphine Botanicals Sugarcane Lip Drops – Leave-On Exfoliator & Primer. I love the gel-based texture and how the product gently exfoliates my lips, getting rid of the dry texture. The Wyldflower Labs’ Radiancy Essence Brightening Skin Softener is wonderful; the perfect product to use after cleansing to clear skin of any leftover impurities and leave yourself with a radiant, natural glow. The Fork & Melon’s Rich Hydrating Cream for Body & Hands is perfect for this season and time in which we are all constantly washing and sanitizing. The natural, lightly scented cream has a luxurious feel and also helps damaged skin. The Cleure’s Night Cream for Sensitive Skin is perfect for finishing up the day and setting a good foundation for your daytime skincare routine. I was very happy with the products in this month’s box. Everything felt like high quality and high-end clean beauty items. With a retail value of $104 on a $29.95 box, I definitely think subscribers will get their money’s worth, as well as discover some new clean beauty products.

I’m a sheet mask loving, skincare obsessed, animal loving foodie. If I’m not waiting for the mailman to bring me some new subscription box, I’m probably working out, writing, or getting cursed out by my parrot. P.S. He was a rescue; I didn’t teach him that.

  1. Naomi you write a good review- I’ve signed up for a 3-month subscription to this amazing box and I cannot WAIT to get October‘s! I’ve had my eye on Nourish for a while and finally bit the bullet today – not sure why it took me so long but I’m *so* excited now that it’s a done deal.

Thanks for the clear, honest and detailed reviews, this box sounds sublime.

    • Hey Errmmm, so happy the review was useful to you! Let me know how you like your box, I think you’ll love it. Nourish Beauty consistently impresses me with their curation!

      • Hi Naomi,
I’m already SO impressed with Nourish. After I signed up for the 3-month sub, they contacted me immediately to tell me they were out of stock on two of the four original October box items (they’re out of the hand/body lotion and the Wyldflower Essence) and provided me with a pretty large list of possible replacements to choose from instead. I’m actually thrilled with the replacements I chose (I would have been happy with the original 4 items but their replacement options were stellar!) so I’m now waiting anxiously for my box. WHOO HOO!
I really am impressed with their customer service, they’re great.
Thanks again! Your review was the push I needed to start this sub! 🙂

  2. This may be the box that convinces me to jump onboard Nourish. Your review was excellent, Naomi! I want those lip drops and night cream so badly.

    • Thanks Boxtopus! The lip drops are AMAZING! I have been using for a week now and I am obsessed! I night cream is wonderful, my skin sure loves it lol

  3. I cant wait to get my box! I love this box and this months looks stellar! Thanks for another fantastic review!

  4. Another awesome review, Naomi! I’m looking forward to receiving my shipment soon.
