Inna Organic Frankincense Revitalizing Eye Mask – Retail value: $4.99

Lately, I have been relying on cheap tricks to help my eyes look less tired but concealer and eye cream only stretch so far, and I always seem to wake up with discoloration and puffy, tired eyes. Once in a while, when I am feeling extra run-down and when I have the time, I will put on a pair of eye masks. I really enjoyed using Inna Organic’s Frankincense Revitalizing Eye Mask, which you apply under each eye. The mask felt cooling upon application, and I noticed my undereye area appeared slightly brighter and plumper after wearing them for 15 minutes.

INIKA Organic Lipstick Crayon in Rose Petal – Retail Value: $25

The INIKA lipstick crayon goes on like butter, but after a few minutes on my naked lips, the matte finish felt drying and emphasized my lip lines. It looked and felt much better once I applied a balm, blotted, then reapplied. Generally, I really like neutral pink shades, but this pencil’s pinky-brown hue was not a favorite for my complexion.

This pencil glides on very nicely and has a classic woodsy smell to it.

Ettitude Bamboo Silk Eye Shade in Blue – Retail Value: $18.00

I can appreciate any accessory that might help me get more restful z’s! This luxury mask feels amazing; the 100% organic bamboo fibers felt silky against my eyelids and the padding was ultra-comfortable. The thick, stretchy band wasn’t too tight, so the right amount of pressure was applied for a soothing blackout effect, making for a restful night’s sleep. The fabric is also moisture-wicking, antimicrobial, and hypoallergenic.

Timeless Organics Intense Hydration + Vitamin E Facial Cream – Retail Value: $29.99

‘Tis the season for dry skin! I’ve been looking for an emollient cream to slather on each night, and this gem showed up right in the nick of time. Soothing aloe, oils, and vitamin E absorbed quickly into my skin leaving behind a dewy finish. It is so refreshing to receive an unscented skin care product that isn’t laden with essential oils! It has only been two days, but my skin looks and feels more supple already.

PIXI Beauty Hello Beautiful Face Case in “L.A. Angel” – Retail Value: $24.00

I really love color when it comes to eye makeup, so at first glance, this eyeshadow palette doesn’t wow me. I like the pops of copper, but as a collector of eyeshadow palettes, this set includes a lot of repeated shades already in my collection. This color story is played out for me, but if you’re someone who likes to keep it simple with an all-in-one palette, this may be a great option for you. The colors are pigmented, especially the shimmers, and my eye look stayed true for about five hours without creasing.

This palette swatched evenly, each shade pigmented and soft.

In this photo, I am wearing the PIXI Face Case eyeshadows and face color as well as the INIKA Lip Pencil. I like how the lippie looks in this photo, but in person, it is a little too brown for my preference.

Verdict: September’s Kinder Beauty Box had a slew of exciting products to try out. I love how they include a variety of skincare and makeup items, especially the eye mask they sent this month. It seems like every month Kinder Beauty pulls a new-to-me vegan brand out of their back pocket and this month it was Timeless Organics, a brand that I’d love to explore now, thanks to them.  The value of September’s box came to $101.98, great value for a $25 box!

  1. I like the look of the lip color. Too bad it is a drying matte one.
