Kinder Beauty Box Natural Beauty Faves Collection Box Review

Each box comes with an info card that has each product pictured with a short description and listed value, so you know what each product is worth.

If you are a new subscriber to Kinder Beauty Box, you will be receiving this as your very first box. It is full of subscriber favorites, and because I have been reviewing Kinder Beauty Box since its debut, I have already tested all of these products. Below I included my initial reviews on each product and added any update or detail worth noting.

GLOV On The Go Eco Line – Retail Value $12.99

GLOV products are very popular in the subscription world, and I always welcome them! These are simple to use and great to travel with; you just saturate the GLOV, press onto skin, and move in circular motions to break up your makeup. I love makeup removers that just use water: no sensitivity or running out of product here! These are reusable for up to 3 months and do a great job at removing face makeup, although waterproof mascara may need a little extra attention.

Update: I ended up using this GLOV for a little over 2 months. I ended up pitching it when it became an even shade of grey all over, but I did get a lot of use out of it. I went nearly 2 months without having to purchase any makeup removing products, and I am looking forward to another 2 months with this one!

Dirty Lamb Ultra Night Serum, 1 oz – Retail Value $52

I love receiving full-sized, pricey skincare in subscription boxes; this item makes up the bulk of the box value running at $52 an ounce. I didn’t care for this product as a serum; its texture is very oily, and I’m used to light, airy treatments that disappear into the skin. This blend of fatty acid oils is better used as a moisturizer for me or mixed in with my regular moisturizer for a boost of hydration. It left a dewy film on my face, and its herby fragrance, although strong at first, dissipated after the product sunk in.

Update: I used this for about a week before my skin started to react to the lavender oil. My skin felt smooth and hydrated, but the little bumps on my forehead and chin made this serum not worth it for me. Your mileage may vary!

Fleur & Bee Eyes Eyes Baby Anti-Aging Eye Cream – Retail Value $22

I have never paid full retail price for one single eye cream, thanks to subscription boxes! Every person on the planet has a very sensitive eye area, so it is not a great place to use anything with perfume or fragrance in the ingredients. Unfortunately, this eye cream has lavender oil, which I love to smell but can’t enjoy on my complexion. I gave this cream a shot, applying under my eyes and above my lips (a new anti-aging trick I just read about). I really loved the creamy texture and hydration it provided my skin, but I woke up with a few blemishes in those areas. My skin tends to be really reactive to essential oils and added fragrance, so this wasn’t a great fit for me. Again, this is a product you may wind up loving based on your skin's unique needs!

Medusa’s Makeup Eye Dust in Penny Wise – Retail Value $8

Every time I try a product by Medusa’s Make-Up, I end up falling in love. I am already a sucker for a smooth metallic eyeshadow, so this is really no shocker. I love using loose eyeshadows, especially when the containers have sifters like this one. It is easy to use, and it blends like a dream! I used this for an all-over-the-lid shadow, and I loved the look! This color is the exact color of a Penny, although, the name of the shade, Penny Wise, just reminds me of the clown from It.. am I the only one?

Update: I have used this copper color several times, and the container is still completely full of product. It is an awesome color for summer. Lemons into lemonade - these last few months have been an opportunity to play with more dramatic eye looks since the rest of my face is covered with a mask.

100% Pure Bright Eyes Mask – Retail Value $7.00

Kinder Beauty Box must know that my skin has had a rough go at it this past winter. My undereyes look like they’ve been through some stuff and somehow lived to tell the tale. Thankfully, these caffeinated patches are depuffing and temporarily fill in lines that I never knew I had. I chill my eyemasks in the fridge before use (game changer!), which amps up the refreshing factor, and I let the aloe and plant cellulose do the rest of the work. I’ve worn patches in the past that I felt did nothing to help my situation, but these really made my undereye area look refreshed and brighter.

Update: Yes! Love these!

Verdict: The Kinder Beauty Faves Box is such a great introduction to the subscription. I really enjoyed revisiting these products, especially the eye masks and eye shadow! The value of this box comes to $101.99, a great value for a $25 box!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, this is the first box new subscribers will receive!

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

AMY SLATE

I just got my 1st box if faves and I have to agree that it’s a great start. Loved each product in it. I just saw the Aug boxes and I’M NOW VERY WORRIED THAT I’M HEADED 4 DISAPPOINTMENT DUE TO THE 1ST OF THE 2 AUG. BOXES MADE ME CRINGE! Scalp scrub, sheet face mask, eyeliner-I DO NOT & WILL NOT USE A SINGLE PRODUCT IN THE 1ST BOX I SAW!
I am going to be so upset if it the box I end up with. The chance I’m going to be so let down by the box is 50/50%; I’m going to think positively, tho. I love the looks of Box 2 I saw on ‘My Subscrip. Addiction-Spoiler alert for Kinder August 2020! I’m going to give it a chance, but I don’t like not having a say in what kind of products I’m getting because it all depends on which box is randomly decided for me.
Birchbox has 2 choices now, but you decide which box you’d like; or they offer you a couple of other options regarding your products that month-giving clients a much higher chance of being a happily satisfied customer.
Just had to state my opinion. I don’t know that I can continue to pay the monthly box charge and not be happy with what I’m being sent; & your subscription is the highest priced out if the 4 I currently subscribe to.
Sincerely, Amy Slate

The copper color is not flattering on my red-from-rosacea complexion and would be gifted. But the other stuff would be fantastic for me! This is on my radar!

I am lucky to not have sensitivity to lavender oil, and this eye cream has become my all-time favorite. It fades my dark circles like no other eye cream has done!

I wish it worked for me! It seems to find its way into a lot of natural skincare.
