Ecocentric Mom September 2020 Review

Pals Socks Mismatched Pair, size Toddler (1-3 years) - Retail Value $9.99

My almost-3-year-old thinks these socks are hilarious. They're purposely mismatched to be funny (and so if you buy a bunch of these you don't have to match them after washing). They are such nice quality! They're thick, plush, comfy, and super stretchy. My son loves these on his feet or on his hands like puppets! Haha.

Youthful Naturally Vain Facial Toner, 4 oz - Retail value $10.55

I can't find this exact toner version on their website, but all their other 4 oz toners are priced the same, so that's where I got my value here. Honestly, I love this toner! I love spray toners because they keep me from having to use a cotton round or something similar and it's just less waste and less complicated. This one has a very short ingredient list, which I really appreciate. It is made with witch hazel, water, aloe juice, and Frankincense essential oil! It smells very light and fresh and I've really enjoyed using this.

Green Sprouts Wipe-Off Bib - Estimated value $4 (Buy a 3 pack for $11.99)

This bib is excellent. Since we started using it, we've definitely had little to none of the dreaded smushed-food-in-her-lap-that-you-only-discover-when-you-get-her-out-of-the-chair problem. It's a big bib, so sometimes when my daughter reaches for food she reaches under it instead of making sure to go around it, but that hasn't been much of a problem and it means that it should be effective as she grows. The waterproof material wipes clean easily, and you can flip the pocket inside out to wipe it more easily. This is our new favorite bib!

Botanical Therapy Cleansing Therapy Pure Baby Wash, 6.8 oz - Retail value $15

This baby wash is super gentle and fragrance-free, so it's great for sensitive baby skin. Its ingredients include hydrogen water, hibiscus flower extract, calendula, and witch hazel extracts. It left my baby clean and her skin didn't feel dried out.

Dr Botanicals Co Cocoa & Coconut Superfood Reviving Hydrating Mask, 1 fl oz - Retail value $12.99

I have dry skin and we're heading into winter, which always makes it worse. This hydrating mask came at the perfect time! It's called Co because it's made with coconut oil and cacao butter, and it also has no added perfumes or preservatives. It's pretty scentless and it feels really nice on my skin! The directions say to wash off after 5-10 minutes, but I've left it on longer and my skin has been happy. I'm definitely going to use all of this.

Verdict: This month's Ecocentric Mom was great for us! I'm really happy with everything they sent - it's all very useful and we'll definitely use up everything. My skin has been loving being treated to the toner and the hydrating mask. The retail value of this box reaches $52.53 which is actually low for what I have come to expect from this sub, but I'm still satisfied with the value because I really like everything and I know we'll be using it all and getting the full value out of the items.

When I first saw this sub years ago, I missed read it as Egocentric Mom Box. It still cracks me up. I wonder what would be included in such a box. Wine, microwave dinners for the family with stickers saying, make it yourself; a book on how to disappear so you could live on your own, etc.

Glad that Ecocentric Mom Box is a nice box that never inspires one to leave their family. 🙂
