I have been attempting to check out for hours now, there is such a flaw in their checkout system. I haven’t been able to buy any addons in month because of this. I also don’t see any coupons the people above mentioned 🙁

I am a bit confused… I like the Premium box, but do you have to sub to BOTH boxes (meaning spend 25 + 35) in order to get the premium box?

No. Base and premium are 2 different subscriptions. However, if you want the Luxe option that they put out quarterly then you need the base subscription for $25 plus the Luxe option that bills you every quarter for another $25 for a total of $50 every 3rd month. September was a luxe box. So the next one will be December. September I was billed a total of $50 but for October I was billed the original $25. Nov will also be $25. Then December will be a total of $50.

For the first premium box, yes, you need to pay for both the base and premium box, but in the next month, you can drop the base box, but if you drop the premium box, then you need to do all these things one more time when next time you want to get the premium box.

While I agree that these choices are not thrilling, at this point I regard my subscription to Boxycharm as a $25 monthly fee for access to the sales. I spent $22 in the add-ons and basically built myself a box’s worth of stuff I want to try or restock. I get why people complain when the items they received in their boxes with high MSRPs are listed on Boxy’s site for $4 or $6, but I like the opportunity to pay very little for items I enjoy using. For me, it’s less “I hope I get X product in my box” and more “regardless of what’s in my box, I can get a great deal on products I know I’ll use or want to try but don’t want to spend $40 to try.”

I cancelled it 2 years ago. I always check spoilers to see if they will draw me back in. I’m surprised they haven’t….but not really, wasn’t using most of the items I was getting, for months before I finally quit them.

The Milk Mascara is decent. I just finished up a travel size tube, & I liked it so much better than the one I just opened (Eyeko Yoga). The Milk packaging is so nice. If Boxy has it in a sale later for less than $12, I’ll probably buy it.
The Jouer lip enhancer smells like rose.

the gimme brow is my daily brow gel. I usually pick up a bunch during Ulta’s 21 days of beauty for 50% off. So, I chose that one and then picked up another one in the add-on sale.

Am I crazy? I logged in and website says “ Tuesday October 13. Today is Tuesday the 12th and I do not have any place to choose an add on. I just resubbed after a long break. Noticed it’s not easy to find a way to contact them about this I recall being frustrated with communication with them. I guess I’ll check tomorrow to see if I can choose.

It’s Monday the 12th today. Premium subscribers have choice today. People with just the base box subscription have choice tomorrow.

Did anyone have trouble checking out this morning? I accessed add-ons right when it opened and when I went to checkout it said a server error had occurred. It gave me that message for an hour before my order finally went through. Most of the items I wanted had already sold out by then. So frustrating!!!

Yes, the choices were lackluster this month. I hope they make up for it with some better items in the box. I had not desire to choose any of these products, but I had to pick something, so I went with the Benefit Brow, (I do like their brow products and think they perform well). I can toss it in my purse and use it for touch ups.
I also subscribe to premium and there were only 2 choices – a Smashbox loose powder and Illuminasqua eyeshadow palette. The palette was sold out 15 minutes after choice opened !?!?

I agree. Thats actually the first time I’ve seen a choice item sell out so fast. Apparently the powder sold out too (in the lighter shade), however it was still being offered for sale in add ons !?

Got the brow gel! We got the Milk maleup one lately but since it’s the only thing that I do for my makeup aince covid, I’m pretty happy with that!
Also got the Kosas blush & highlighter duo for 9$, since it was on my Sephora wishlist for 48$ (deal!!). I also picked the Kosas lipbalm for 4$ and applied free shipping with one of the code i get every month! Don’t forget them, you can find them under your account preference!!
I wanted to unsubscribe because I’m running out of space but I’m happy that I forgot! 🙂
