Bespoke Post "Volt" Review

This month I decided to go with a practical Bespoke Post option and selected this wireless charging bank. They offer two colors, an Ash and Bone color, and I chose the Ash since darker colors always seem to stay a little cleaner in our home!

CARRY Wireless Charging Bank by Courant in Ash - Retail Value $150 (on sale for $75)

First off, this charger was packaged very nicely in a sturdy box with a pull out drawer containing the charger with the bag and cord neatly stowed away underneath of it. It comes with a USB-C input and output cord so if you have a USB charger cube (which I know you do!) or a computer with a USB port you can charge it up wirelessly. It also came with a dustbag to carry it in which is helpful since I intend to use this mainly for its portability.

Inside was this little booklet showing some of their other products.

We also received this small booklet with information about our charger. This charger is Qi-certified and can charge through cases up to 3mm in thickness (see the Courant website for a list of compatible devices). It has up to 10W wireless output with 5W wireless input and the battery (8000 mAh) can hold up to two full phone charges. This means you can use it as a power bank as well as a wireless charger! It worked well with my phone which does have a regular plastic Casely case on it.

The device itself is about the size of my iPhone 11, although thicker (about 5.5 inches x 2.75 inches with a thickness of about 0.5 inches), so it's small enough that you can comfortably throw in your bag to take on the go. It is made from high-grade aluminum alloy and is covered in pebbled Italian leather which has a nice texture that helps your device stay put a little better when charging it wirelessly. What I love about this is that I can simply place my phone on top and get a charge without having to fumble with cords. I don't know how cords go at your house, but with three kids, I feel like they are constantly going bad because someone has stretched it or bent it, or plugged it in the wrong way, so I am all about one less cord!

We do have a wireless charger at home and while it is not the same brand, it still works well to charge the Carry unit. Ours is a standup charger so in order to stack my phone and charge it, I just had to prop my phone up on something to lean it against the Carry, and voila, two devices charging at once with no cords! It does seem to charge pretty fast, although slower when using the stacked method, but that's understandable!

This little button on the side is all it takes to power on your device. You can also press it to do a battery check with the three little lights indicating whether you have low to full power.

I plan to use this as our travel charger because we can charge it in the car while we are on the road and when we get to our destination, it's just a matter of bringing this small bag inside with us and not having to worry about bringing an extra cord and USB charger cube that you'll inevitably leave behind (ask me how I know).

Verdict: I love the range of products that Bespoke Post offers each month and I'm glad I was able to order something so practical. I'm really impressed with the quality of this device and I certainly didn't know it would be made from Italian leather and retail for $150! Even though it's on sale for $75 right now, I still think that's pretty great since this is a $48.95 ($45 + $3.95 shipping) box. That certainly feels like a steal for such a useful item and it would make a great gift!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! The Volt box featuring the Carry wireless charging bank is still available.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $45 + $3.95 shipping, but retails for $150, which is over $100 in savings!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

I got this box for my husband’s WFH office and he loves it! Neither of us actually realized it was also a powerbank as well so that’s good to know, thanks for the review!
