One Love Organics Gardenia + Tea Antioxidant Body Serum, 4 fl oz - Retail Value $39.00
If you read my reviews often, you know I am always on the hunt for the next thing I can apply to my legs without causing a breakout! I usually end up reaching for body oils because lotions give me these icky red bumps all over the front of my calves. This serum is perfect for my legs but also a dream for my entire body. The nozzle spray tip makes it so easy to spritz on and massage in and the smell here is a floral + cream dream. Seriously, my legs are so soft and I smell pretty much irresistible when I use this. This serum is a blend of sunflower seed, green tea seed, and pumpkin seed oils with botanical extracts from sea buckthorn, rosemary, and rooibos tea. Although it is oil-heavy, it actually absorbs in a flash, leaving behind hydration but no film or shininess. I am really stoked about this stuff!
One Love Organics Botanical D Moisture Mist, 2 fl oz - Retail Value $39.00
I am beginning to sound like a broken record here, but I truly love facial mists. I use them all the time and they are one of the few products where I manage to see the bottom of a bottle. This is a slightly milky formula with an emphasis on vitamin D. If you have drier skin like me, this sort of mist is a great in-between step for your nightly skincare routine to just add a little extra hydration and slip. If you have oilier skin, this mist is hydrating enough to almost serve as a super lightweight moisturizer in and of itself! This formula is a blend of aloe, oleosomes (plant extracts and vitamin E), shiitake mushroom (vitamin D!), and alpine rose, a botanical known for fighting dryness. It has just a hint of geranium scent and the bottle features one of the better-misting nozzles I have ever tried.
One Love Organics Love + Eyebright Eye Serum, 8 mL - Retail Value $39.00
My last item is a pretty adorable little pink rollerball formula. First off, I always appreciate an actual metal rollerball. They get so wonderfully chilly if I need some extra depuffing action and leave them in the fridge before using! Second, this formula is really nice and totally ideal for the delicate skin around your eyes. The main ingredient here is green tea seed oil which is FULL of antioxidants that help prevent aging of the skin. I can't think of anything better for skin that is already thinner and prone to fine lines and wrinkles. There is also a healthy dose of other fatty botanical oils here too which serve to deeply hydrate this area of skin without feeling heavy. I have been using this before bed each night and I swear it has also minimized the little bit of dark circles I have seen lately too.
Verdict: This month, Beauty Heroes curated a very nice selection of products from a brand I already know, like, and trust. I really appreciate that there was an all-over body product this month, too. I feel like I often ignore the skin that isn't on my face these days and just hide it in comfy sweatshirts and leggings. The body serum that arrived this month was a nice reminder that my legs, arms, and everywhere else also need a little attention and hydration too! As a big-time mist fan, you know I was thrilled with the moisture mist and because I am at the age where I am really trying to protect the area of skin around my eyes, I also very much loved seeing such a nice eye serum. Overall this month had a total value of $117 which is respectable from a $58.95 box.
